Lovely apartment, situated close to Acropolis and museum. Great facilities inc kingsize bed, hair dryer and filtered water. Spotlessly clean and v quiet. Albert, the manager, could not do enough for us. Booked taxis both ways to and from airport, advised us of great places to eat and how to get to key sites.

BEWARE. There was a very loud party across the street and it went on till 430am. And owner argued with us that there has never been a party or noise. booked a year in advance and made a date mistake and we selected non refundable and he wouldn't work at all with us. I do understand non refundable but I wanted to shift dates by one day months in advance and they wouldn't do anything and blamed the app and technology. The host Albert was great and the place was clean and very nice besides these two issues. Just be careful.

Staff Albert was quite friendly and helpful, resourceful, responsive. Was reasonably priced at a great location with more of neighborhood feel and a safe, quiet street. Basement place was tasteful, roomy and a good set up. Messages from multiple people with name of location varying was a bit confusing. Could probably use a new coat of paint soon and replace of throw rug which could be a fall hazard. Toilet/shower space narrow ie not for a large build person. But beyond these minor concerns, overall we have no regrets with booking this place.

Amazing spot for a vacation!

This place is super cute. Less than a mile walk to Plaka and closer to acropolis and so many sites. The ac was perfect and consistent. Stayed cold all day/night. Albert was the best. He was there for anything we needed. Directions recommendations and eve called for cabs for us! He went above and beyond to make our stay perfect! Fresh water daily was great to come home to in the fridge!! Hot tea every morning in our room was a plus! Hot showers daily! I would recommend this place!!! Plenty of pubs and cafes just a few minutes away! Highly recommend and we will def be back! Fratti is a cute little pub around the corner. Very friendly🍷

We stayed in one of the semi basement apartment out of two . There are two more floors above us . This is the mixed neighborhood with working Greece people living here , safe and quiet. This is a small three room apartment with living room, bed room, small kitchen with refrigerator and electric oven . The bathroom is small but functional. There are three areas that could be improved for better stay: 1. Living room couch is dated and need either new cover or replacement. 2. Since the unit is semi basement , humidity is high and we could smell musty air . This could be mitigated by putting a portable dehumidifier in the bedroom . 3. The bathroom has smell from the sewer pipe and we let the fan running to eliminate it. We would stay at this property in the future at other floors. Hope this help.

So pleasant to be in a quiet neighborhood close to a few nice cafes and casual restaurants. Then a few blocks further and you are in the main Plaka shopping district, then a few more steps to Acropolis. Very very convenient. The national gardens and metro are about 10minutes walk away. Alfred was a wonderful host.

A home away from home

We had an amazing experience with Athens Residence Apartments. We were contacted by the owner regarding check-in details. Check-in time is 2PM but with an early flight we notified the owner that we would be arriving at 10 AM. We were met by Albert, the property manager. He had our room ready and we were able to check in early, which was so nice. Albert was super helpful with details about the apartment, recommendations for restaurants that were spot-on. Albert was friendly, kind and we had such wonderful conversations with him. We reserved C1 apartment with the balcony, and it is a beautiful place. The apartment is spacious, beautifully decorated and had everything we needed for our stay. The building is in a beautiful quiet residential neighborhood, but only minutes walk from all the tourist attractions. We definitely would stay here again if we have another opportunity to visit Athens. We highly recommend Athens Residence Apartments. Thanks Albert for making us feel at home

The flat I stayed in (ground floor, B1) was beautiful and light, high ceilings, polished floorboards, and spacious. The staff there were very friendly and helpful. I was extremely comfortable. For a street so close to the centre of Athens (which is a very vibrant, noisy city), it was incredibly quiet. I was working with the university there and had no problems getting a couple of half-days work done in the flat. The property is a 10 minute walk from the Acropolis (depending on how you deal with hills!), 15 mins from the tourist centre, loads of great cafes and restaurants and many more within easy access through the metro network which is a 10 minute downhill walk. Just bear in mind that you don’t visit Athens and avoid hills! But there’s Uber etc. if you don’t like that. I would note that the “kitchen” was extremely small, and although I cooked in it every night with no problem, if you are planning a long stay and to make your own food, you should be aware of that. I enjoy a desk or a dining table (for working more than eating), but my flat didn’t have one. That said, I still rate this 5 star accomodation because it was such a lovely space with a great feel, and the staff there were so friendly. To me, that’s what counts.
