Airotel Parthenon

4.0 out of 5.0

Excellent location and service, good breakfasts, but the design of the rooms does not correspond to the hotel 4*. Our total rate 4.3 from 5.

Walking distance to every where. I loved it !!!!! Hotel staff was very helpful and friendly. Everyone spoke English that makes it very nice.

The hotel is well situated for touring Athens' historic sites and other tourist attractions. The bed was very comfortable and the accommodations comfortable, if not ultra modern. The breakfast buffet was bountiful and good. The outstanding staff made this hotel an excellent choice. I arrived at Airotel Parthenon the day before a scheduled work stoppage by Greek air traffic controllers, which could have potentially stopped all domestic and foreign flights in Greece. Although the strike was averted at the 11th hour, many flights were cancelled, including mine back to the United States. The hotel staff was very helpful in determining whether my flight had been reinstated and in arranging transport to the airport after my van ride had been cancelled due to the pending strike. This level of assistance and hospitality was unexpected and very much appreciated.

Our first time in Athens and the hotel was in the perfect spot. We were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go. Staff was helpful in giving us directions and suggestions. Highly recommended.

Needs some tlc but good location and reasonable price

Has all the basics. Dont expect frills, but comfortable and very clean. Nice marble bathrooms as well. Best part is the DELICIOUS all you can eat breakfast. It was a great start to every morning I was there. !

The hotel is in an excellent location if you are interested in visiting the Acropolis, the Acropolis Museum, and the Temple of Zeus. It is an easy walk to numerous restaurants and shops as well as a subway stop. Our room was very clean, the beds were comfortable, and the linens were good quality. The hotel lobby is lovely with places to sit. The included breakfast was very nice and the staff was helpful. The price was very reasonable for the location. The only real downside was that our room was quite small and the furnishings were a bit tired. That was not a problem for us as we were there to see the sites which are about 15 minutes away by foot.

The hotel staff was courteous and accommodating at check-in and throughout our stay. They were patient in providing directions to all the major sites and specific places of interests. The hotel offered a complementary breakfast which had varied selections to choose from, and they constantly restocked anything that ran low. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others!

I booked this hotel as that's where my friends were already staying and I was happy with the choice. Pretty convenient for the city centre and right next to the Acoropolis.

The Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Hotel is close to many attractions and we walked everywhere. It is also close to the Acropolis metro station. There are many restaurants and shops around the hotel. Breakfast had a lot of variety and it was very good food. One of the best breakfasts offered in a hotel I have ever seen.

Good hotel in an excellent location. The staff was very friendly.

This hotel is in a great location on a cool, tree-lined narrow street. It is about 200 yards from the entrance to the Acropolis Museum and entrance to the Acropolis; a great benefit on hot summer days. Shops and restaurants steps from the front door including a not to be missed walk-up/carry-out stand serving great, inexpensive food (walk out the hotel door turn left about 75 yards and walk strait across the street, slightly to the right). The staff was terrific, friendly and the complimentary breakfast buffet was extensive and excellent. I would recommend for travelers looking for rooms in this price range. Rooms are somewhat basic and small, typical of hotels in this price category throughout Europe. They had a long late afternoon, early evening happy hour at the bar with 2 for 1 drinks and the lobby had help yourself complimentary juices, a very nice refreshing touch. Room comfort rates only a 3 because 4 and 5 should be for luxury class hotels, I had no complaints.

Breakfast buffet was outstanding. Walking distance to shops and restaurants.

We liked everything in this hotel, starting from the receptionists with their worm welcome to us and ending with their great cleaning services, The hotel have the best location ever, it is walking distance to all sights and cities. We really have a very comfortable stay for six nights. Thanks for all employee in this hotel and for theil helpfull.

This hotel is located right in the heart of Acropolis site surrounded by restaurants and tourist shops. The rooms are slightly dated but clean. Very good breakfast and staff.

Very good location. Close to major attractions. Close to subway.

My husband and I loved this hotel, we stayed there last January. It was in the perfect location to the Acropolis, Hadrian's Gate, The Temple of Zeus and the Acropolis Museum. The staff was wonderful and very helpful. Breakfast was delicious. We would and will stay at this hotel on our next trip to Athens Greece. I recommend this hotel to everyone.
