We loved the view, just off the main area so it was very quiet while being convenient. The breakfast was delicious and a wide variety in the morning with wonderful coffee. Everyone was helpful and kind and we loved our stay!

The hotel is perfect for visiting Lycenbettus Hill, and the surrounding neighbourhood had some great restaurant options (check out Frankie’s!). The room was okay, but there were some signs of wear and our door looked to have been forced open during a previous stay, which meant the automatic digital lock didn’t work. Thankfully the receptionist gave us a key instead. The pool was a great bonus, but a little worse for wear in places.

The location is very residential, which is safe and calm, but also a good 15-20 minute walk down hill to anything - and I do mean anything. And that means the return is all up hill. On the positive side, our 2-bedroom suite was spacious and well stocked. Something I did not realize while booking, the rooftop pool shares a space with an outdoor restaurant, and it closes at 7pm to accommodate the diners. And while the staff were helpful with arranging airport transfers, don’t ask for recommendations, directions or for anything else in general.

The property is located close proximity to everything. It was walking distance to the peak of Athen with the best view of the city. It is very convenient and safe! The hotel has a great view from the rooftop with a bar and a pool. It’s absolutely beautiful!

Brilliant family stay

Couldn't have asked for more for our stay in central Athens with the children. They were so accommodating and lovely. They even opened breakfast early for us to make our taxi transfer to the ferry. Children loved the pool! We just used it to sleep at night and were out all day.

It was a great experience. The team at the Duke were lovely and assisted in everything we needed. Breakfast was the ultimate with everything freshly cooked and a great start for the day ahead. Sintagma station was on a 20min walk away…downhill. The only negative was, a hilly climb to get back to the hotel after each day but I needed the exercise anyway😄. Great experience…THX Bill
