Beautiful Place

Absolutely beautiful place, very well designed courtyard with an excellent host, having paid attention to all the details in each suite. Good breakfast, a very calm residential neighborhood near metro station very accessible to airport.

Lovely place! Very convenient location and lovely staff with a great breakfast. Very spacious apartment, also helpful to have a kitchen if you want to cook your own food. But there are lots of great little restaurants nearby!

Pros: Our room was located away from the noise of traffic. Breakfast was good. Staff are friendly and informative. The property is well maintained. Cons: for those who bring big luggage, this is not user's friendly for you have to carry them throigh the stairs. Overall: this place is excellent and is a walking distance to every historical points of interest.

The host was wonderful. Always very kind and great at communicating with us. The breakfast was always amazing. If they served lunch and dinner we might have never left to see the rest of the city. The location is good with a short walk to everywhere, but not right in the busy tourist area. You get a more local feel and quieter cafes in the immediate area. We are very happy to have stayed here and will again the next time we are in Athens.

Amazing location and so clean! Hosts were helpful with directions and suggestions. We couldn’t connect to WiFi at anytime during our stay and could not get the hotel staff to figure it out. The key to our apartment was very finicky making entry stressful (although when we called the host she did help!). Would stay again and recommend

Located in a residential area, walking distance from major sites. Rooms are spacious and clean with plenty of closet space. Breakfast is cooked and tasty. Check in process is not convenient for international travelers - we told the property that we will arrive around 9pm and arrived by 9:45 to find the front door closed. Calling/looking for WiFi on international rates is not great when you are standing on the street after a trans-Atlantic flight. Common areas are fairly tight and guests should be prepared to climb steep stairs (no ADA access here). Smoking on site seems to be done by staff only which is not ideal given small sizes of common areas.

This small and peaceful retreat not too far from Athens city centre provided exceptional service and comfort. The room was big, with climate control, various beddings, fridge and cooktop and coffee maker. The bathroom had everything we needed with rainfall shower. And breakfast was very good with a variety of offerings from sweet to salty. In addition, the pre-arrival communication from the manager was timely and helpful, from arranging airport meet (even after midnight!) and taxis to the city and cruise port. Nothing was too much trouble and all requests were met with friendly and quick responses. Definitely recommend the Athenian Yard Suites and if we are back in Athens, we will definitely stay here again.

The Athenian Yard team were really brilliant. They were really happy to answer questions and share tips about what to see in the city. The building has a homely feel to it divided into separate apartments with a lovely communal open space in the middle. Everything was done to a high standard, the shower is really good and I found the bed comfortable. We stayed in the downstairs room next to where guests eat breakfast so you do hear all the comings and goings of other guests in the morning in that room, but it wasn't a big issue for us. It might be if you're a light sleeper. Overall we were really happy with our stay. It's a beautiful place.
