I checked in at around 10 at night, very friendly staff. Made any accommodations I could think of, very generous and let me choose between rooms, floors and bed sizes. Very clean room and amazing shower. Loved it, would live here if I could.
Spent the night here while in town for a concert. I can't really think of any negatives. The staff members were friendly and courteous, the room was very clean, and the beds were comfortable. I requested an extra blanket and the young man personally brought it up to my room within a few minutes of the request. They do have an indoor pool on site. I did not have an opportunity to use it, but it looked clean and inviting. The breakfast area was clean and well stocked with a variety of items including eggs, sausage, ham, hot and cold cereals, bagels, fruits, etc. Everything was tasty and appetizing. I would not hesitate to stay here again.
Staff friendly but hotel mediocre at best. Things were okay until we attempted to eat their breakfast and found multiple moldy bread items. Food service standards need to be enforced at this location. Pantry hardly stocked with food for sale. Won’t stay here again.
We checked into this hotel but heard an intermittent buzzing sound in the room, probably from one of the lights outside. We called the front desk and was offered our choice of the two remaining rooms. We said we'd think about it and about 15 minutes later decided to take them up on the offer. We went to the desk and said we'll change rooms but the clerk said the rooms were taken but she'd reimburse us 5,000 of our Marriott points. It was a nice gesture on her part even though it was our fault we didn't change rooms sooner.
A little disappointed. I have a single complaint. Cigarettes. This is a nice hotel. The lobby was clean. The young man that checked me in could not have been any nicer. There was fresh coffee in the lobby, along with those awesome chocolate chip cookies. I did not use the indoor pool but I did look. The area was very clean and looked nice. The exercise room was very descent. Elevator was a little tight but still no big deal. My room was clean as far as appearance goes. Can I tell you I truly despise cigarette smoke. It was not overwhelming but you could tell someone had smoked in the room. The bed linens and towels smelled clean. The bathroom was very clean but had some of the worst lighting. The water was way hot with super water pressure, which was awesome. I arrived late and did not want to go through ordeal of changing rooms. Like I said, the smell was not overwhelming but it was enough I noticed. I would have no trouble staying here again. Next time I will definitely go up to the room and check it out before I drag all my luggage inside. I do truly wish smoking rules were enforced.
Very quiet and cleaned. Staff (Lisa) very nice. Quiet place on Sunday and not busy on Monday morning for breakfast. Do not hear the noise of I-95. There are a few restaurant across the street. Was upgraded which was nice.
I usually don't review hotels for business travel as I'm on the road weekly, but had to make an exception here. Fairfield inns are pretty vanilla and consistent throughout the US, and what makes one stand out for me is the level of customer service. I'd like to recognize Stephanie at the front desk for her exceptional level of customer service. She was so helpful to me on a recent stay and went way above and beyond to assist me. Thank you Stephanie! See you again!
The Ashland Fairfield Inn is a wonderful hotel. The rooms are very clean and the staff is very friendly and most helpful. I was in Ashland for a reunion and stayed at the Fairfield Inn. We had to leave very early in the morning (4:30 am) to go back home. It was a Sunday morning and the lady on the desk who I believe puts out the breakfast fixed us some coffee to go and two sausage and biscuits each to take with us That was above and beyond the call of duty and greatly appreciated.
Nice hotel and what you'd expect at a Fairfield Inn...clean, comfortable, basic, at a reasonable price. Staff was nice and room provided a good night's sleep. Breakfast was OK but not great. Convenient location off highway but had some noise. Not many great food options nearby.
Stayed here for work. Hotel was clean and the staff friendly. WIFI was kind of slow. Only good enough to check email. You can buy faster for like $4 a night. They have breakfast in the morning that was pretty good.
