Nice hotel and what you'd expect at a Fairfield Inn...clean, comfortable, basic, at a reasonable price. Staff was nice and room provided a good night's sleep. Breakfast was OK but not great. Convenient location off highway but had some noise. Not many great food options nearby.
Stayed here for work. Hotel was clean and the staff friendly. WIFI was kind of slow. Only good enough to check email. You can buy faster for like $4 a night. They have breakfast in the morning that was pretty good.
Passing through on a business trip. Decided to check this hotel out. Its about 5 miles out of I-64 but it was worth it. Rooms are spacious and clean and their AC works fantastic. Hotel staff are very friendly and professional. They do give you government and military rate. Wifi is fast enough for netflix. Breakfast is included. They do have a indoor pool. Overall had a great place to get awesome sleep. I must have hit my alarm snooze several times.
Awesome Job Management! Stayed here for 1 night and was a pleasant visit. Hotel is inviting, management is awesome and friendly. Hotel is close to all different type of foods but best of all is Mexican Restaurant next door. Rooms are clean, appears to have been newly remodeled. Breakfast was great and eating areas is clean. Showers are awesome with high pressure water shower heads that feel great washing away the days grime! Recommend staying when in the Ashland KY area, you will not be disappointed.
This is not the hotel I've stayed at for the last 4 years during my annual trek to Ashland, on business, but it was my choice this year. There are only good things to share about this property. What mattered MOST to me was the fact that I was scheduled to depart the hotel BEFORE breakfast service even started. An hour before start time I went to the diningroom to try and scrape something together. Imagine my surprise (and satisfaction) when I realized that the full breakfast was out and ready for guests. Totally unexpected, but equally appreciated. My room was super, in every way with no unexpected noise in the hallways overnight. Like I said, all good.
I'm a 20+ year Marriott Rewards member. While I realize things happen, during my recent stay "things happened" every day of my thee night stay. On day one, a get a knock on my door at 11:00 PM. A woman is standing in the hallway telling me I am in her room. She leaves and goes back to the front desk. 15 minutes later I get a call from the front desk asking if somebody had come to my room. No explanation as to what happened, just a "we'll compensate you for your inconvenience". Not sure what that means. Day 2 - enjoyed breakfast to the continuous sound of drilling and banging coming from the walls and ceiling throughout the breakfast area. Come back to my room at the end of the day to find none of my room keys work. Day 3 - spend the whole day out at a baseball tournament. Get back to my room at 5:30. The room has not been cleaned, beds not made. However, the tip I left for housekeeping is gone. Called the desk to let them know the deal and just asked for clean towels. Towels delivered by a supervisor who says the maid had stopped in and had taken the dirty towels out and was sent to a different room. I move aside so the supervisor can see the pile of dirty towels still on the bathroom floor. Somebody's story doesn't add up. Certainly not up to Marriott standards. Three days, three issues.
Room's are nice and clean, lady at front desk was nice and friendly. It would recommend. Surrounding area is nice as well. Hotel looks new. Nice view out of windows. Not much near to the Hotel. Thank you
This was my second stay at this hotel over a period of a few years. The rooms are typical Fairfield Inn rooms - comfortable and reasonably sized. The desk clerk was very pleasant when checking me in and making me comfortable. The room was clean and appropriately cooled despite temps in the 90s. The fitness room had two treadmills, an elliptical, and some free weights. The indoor pool was small but the families using it seemed to enjoy it. The free breakfast was the standard mix of hot and cold items. There were three minor items during my stay: (1) the parking lot is small and I took up multiple spaces with my rental truck, (2) I could hear the people in the room above me walking back and forth, and (3) when I went to check out there was no one at the desk. I would recommend staying here. The price per night is not bad for the area. The room met the Fairfield Inn standards. I would ask for a room on the higher floors to the back of the hotel to keep noise down.
Decent motel. Very musty smell in the room, beds not very comfortable and noise is way above normal. The people above you sound like they are hitting the floor with a sledgehammer while they are walking.
The room and hotel were very clean. The lady who worked in the breakfast area and Josh from housekeeping were awesome. The front desk ladies....not so much. When I was checking out, the lady couldn't even look up to acknowledge me so I just left the room keys and walked out. Thankful the receipt was left under the door. The ceiling seemed very thin as I could hear every step someone above me was taking.
