Staff and service is amazing. Reid (Valet) was so personalble and helpful and kind. Monday afternoon FO manager (gentleman) was efficient, kind and quick. Night audit, check out- everyone was great. Housekeeper on 5th floor Tuesday was very kind and told me to have a nice day on my departure... Loved the spacious bedroom and amazing shower and Aveda amenities. Hotel is under construction so I didn't give it a perfect score, but overall, I'd rather stay at Hotel Indigo than anywhere else in asheville!
The hotel is nice, clean, modern with a good location. We have stayed here before without any prb, however upon check-in this time, we were told that we were required to use their valet service (which was different than last year). We didn't want the valet service, but were fine with. We left the hotel for dinner and our car was still sitting in the same place we parked it at the front of the hotel, I checked the doors and the valet had left it unlocked. When I went back into the hotel to ask about it, the valet was very rude. He did not have an explanation as to why our car was still sitting there unlocked, nor did he seem to care that we were concerned about it. The following morning at check-out our car was still in the same place we had parked it. The morning valet staff (who was nicer than the PM staff) did pull our car to the front door for us, However it was only about 20 ft that he drove it. The hotel had the audacity to charge us $18 for a valet service they did not perform and we did not want to begin with. Due to this issue, I don't think we stay here again
My husband and I went to Asheville this past weekend for an adult getaway and stayed at Hotel Indigo. What a wonderful experience! The hotel staff were all so friendly and helpful! The valet drivers were super fast at getting your car for you. It was EXTREMELY cold and had snowed about 6 inches and the valet guys were still smiling! The hotel is doing construction to the lobby/restaurant so if you are wanting a hotel with a nice romantic place to eat, I would wait a few weeks before staying here (6 weeks before it will be ready). They do have a room set up for breakfast and dinner but we chose to not eat at the hotel (not a very romantic setting which is what we wanted). The rooms are very clean and beds are comfortable. We had an AWESOME time in Asheville and will definitely come to stay at Hotel Indigo again.
From the time we pulled up to the front door we had a great experience. The staff was some of the most personable and helpful that we have seen anywhere. Clean, comfortable, and modern rooms and facilities. Loved the layout of the room and bathroom. Easy downtown walk to shopping and restaurants. Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.
Good location close to shopping and restaurants. Modern, clean, comfortable facility and rooms. Great.views of the mountains from the room! Friendly helpful staff!!!
The hotel was close to everything downtown and very modern and boutique type with everyone very nice and helpful.
Second visit to Asheville. Overall had a great experience. Would definitely say the hotel added to the whole experience. Check-in/ check out was very pleasant. Hotel staff was very friendly. Valet with location made traveling to downtown as well hiking very convenient. Would definitely consider saying again.
well located - 2 blocks to shopping and start of downtown. parking is in basement garage allowing for easy loading and unloading. food in café for breakfast great and reasonably priced all staff helpful and friendly. concierge on staff also very helpful. would definitely stay there again. fyi take pets although we didn't bring one.
My wife and I stayed at the Indigo to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. It is location is excellent: right off of 240 (the beltway around Asheville) and within very easy walking distance of Asheville's historic downtown shopping and dinning. Our room was large and comfortable. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. We had our dog with us and the hotel was good for him, as well, with grassy areas to visit less than a block from the front door of the hotel. We had a great visit and will surely stay at the Indigo again!
There is probably not a better place to stay when visiting the downtown area of Asheville.
There is no property to this hotel- surrounded by concrete parking lots on two sides, exit ramp on another and a street on the other side- I get the modern look, etc, it appears cheap though, uninviting, and basic- nothing special at all- you can hear every cough, footstep, etc of your neighbors- being downtown and having to still walk quite a distance isn't a perk of this hotel- I've always heard great things about this establishment- I'd never stay there again- especially for the money- when you can stay at historic Grove Park Inn or The Biltmore for the SAME price!
This is a very nice hotel. Me and my wife went there for our 6th anniversary. Check in is a little bit of an issue when they are busy. It's just a tight place to try and park with limited space. The valet guys do an excellent job though. We stayed in room 915 which has an amazing view. Room service was excellent. My only complaint is the price. It was over $400.
as if my pup couldn't be happier- Hotal Indigo's dog and people friendly philosophy brightened every aspect of our stay in Ashville! the room had a breathtaking view of the stunning mountain vista, easily matched by the lush comfort of our corner room & remarkable room-service dinner! Further reason to visit Asheville more often!! This hotel is a must for travelers & their canine companions!
We planned an overnight in Asheville to celebrate my husbad's birthday. The hotel was in a good location and the staff was great but the hotel was little pricey considering we didn't hang out there, only slept. The fire alarm went off in the middle of the night, took a long time to get it turned off. Also, there was no sound proofing. Could hear traffic and every word spoken by other guest in rooms and hallway. The shower was nice but barely enough water pressure to rise off the soap. However, the breakfast was great!
The hotel is in need of some attention. The shower head and toilet paper holder were lose.
Excellent location. Very clean facilities with excellent staff.
The room and bathroom were beautiful and comfortable. The staff was friendly and it was only a few blocks walk to town. However, in the "little things department" it did not achieve what makes a hotel deserve 4 stars: 1) room was noisy when the morning traffic started; 2) the clock radio was either broken or too complicated to set. It had the wrong time and couldn't reset. Alarm went off at 4 am: 3) staff highly recommended a place to eat which turned out below average considering how many good places Asheville has; 4) the shower was set so it sprayed out the door when turned on; upon leaving when the staff asked how my stay was and I told her of the above items, I got the deer in the headlights look with a "have a nice day" goodbye. The list goes on but the bottom line is that the staff was friendly but not at all trained in service deserving of 4 stars.
Needs improvements. The heating was weird. It's facing a highway.
This hotel is perfectly located in downtown Asheville. Everything is within walking distance. The hotel was clean, parking is free, did not charge for an extra blanket and was willing to accommodate anyway they could. This is a pet friendly hotel. Asheville as a whole is a very pet friendly town. You will not be let down with this hotel.
We stayed at the hotel indigo for just one night and though we arrived late and left early we had a very nice experience. The staff are all super nice, friendly and helpful. The rooms were comfortable and the hotel was located just blocks from shops and restaurants. If we are ever in Asheville again we'd definitely stay at the hotel indigo!
