This stay was surprisingly good considering the renovation going on. Staff seems. To be doing a good job of keeping things clean despite construction. Our only complaint was the unwillingness to serve more yogurt upon request after other guests had exhausted the yogurt in the refrigerator. Fortunately the eggs were surprisingly good and not like other fake hotel buffet eggs. Staff also accommodated our request for extra towels.

Excellent staff and breakfast. Nice hotel layout. The bed was super comfortable. The bathtub had a bit of mildew and the lap shades were needed replacing. I would stay here again as it is right beside the airport and they have a complimentary shuttle there.

The staff and location were the two highlights of my stay. The property is very dated and my tub had mold around where the caulking is located. My last night there while taking a shower, the water pressure went down to nothing. Only a trickle was coming out of the shower head and I had soap all over me.

Worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Dirty is putting it mildly. Wish there was a place to post pictures so you could see for yourself. Asked to change rooms and the second room was worse than the first one. this should be a last resort!!!

Very nice accommodations! Spacious room, two queen beds, desk and chair, and two sitting area chairs. Note left by mgmt said room has just been cleaned to hospital standards. So comfortable in all regards for our four night stay. Breakfast was free and delicious every morning....fluffy scrambled eggs, crisp bacon, sausage, crispy hash browns. They also had waffles and blueberry muffins. We had to request a microwave as advertised, but a very nice staffer brought us a brand new one right away. Onsite Mexican restaurant, Blue Agave, has an extensive authentic menu and was yummy! We also celebrated our anniversary dining at the Longhorn's located right in the parking lot within walking distance. Thank you Clarion-Arden, NC for making our stay such a positive memorable experience. You rock!

The pictures of the bathrooms online are misleading. The online pictures show bathroom sinks with counter space to put your toiletries on. Our room came with no such bathroom. It's old and crusty. The bathroom sink is very old and just stuck in to the wall. No counter space. The caulking around everything is cracked and gross. The wall has been repaired so many times. The shower wall is gross too. Very old and crusty. We were room 145.

Unfortunately in room 207 there was very visible mold in the bathroom. The television did not work work. There was a hole in the adjoining room door we covered with a towel. There was hair on the sheets when I pulled the covers back. I wiped down the phone, remote and bedside table and the cloth was filthy. I took pictures because when we told the manager she stated "since it took you so long to report it we will not reimburse the payment" We got in really late Friday evening but told her 1st thing in the morning as we checked out. We did bear in mind the hurricane, hiwever that room should not be sold to anyone until its repaired.
