This stay was surprisingly good considering the renovation going on. Staff seems. To be doing a good job of keeping things clean despite construction. Our only complaint was the unwillingness to serve more yogurt upon request after other guests had exhausted the yogurt in the refrigerator. Fortunately the eggs were surprisingly good and not like other fake hotel buffet eggs. Staff also accommodated our request for extra towels.

Excellent staff and breakfast. Nice hotel layout. The bed was super comfortable. The bathtub had a bit of mildew and the lap shades were needed replacing. I would stay here again as it is right beside the airport and they have a complimentary shuttle there.

We did not stay at clarion inn asheville airport Expedia itinerary 72067360566191 We are requesting a refund. Quality, cleanliness and service was unacceptable. Shower drain was clogged and the shower walls had a brown stains, and the tile in the entrance of the room was sticky. When I told them about the cleanliness, the staff gave me a cleaner rather than offering to have it cleaned. The staff apologized and said they had been having several complaints from the new cleaners. When we asked for another room, they told us they did not have another room and that the cleaning staff was gone for the night, so after he called the hotel manager and explained the situation, they offered us a refund for our room, but we had to electronically reach out to Expedia and that when they received the call, they would approve of the refund. We are still waiting for Expedia to contact Clarion Inn to confirm the cancellation for our refund.

The front desk staff was friendly and our room was clean. That being said, the rest of our experience was not great. We could never connect to the internet in our room. We let the front desk attendant know on Friday night when we checked in, but we still weren’t able to connect by Sunday when we checked out. We were given the standard “we’re very sorry” and were told that other guests in our area of the hotel weren’t able to connect either. (We were in room 247.) If you’re not at breakfast by 9:30, you’re out of luck when it comes to the hot bar ( for lack of a better term). We were able to make a waffle, but felt like the staff was ready for us up go. Our room smelled of stale cigarette smoke. The area behind the toilet needs some serious repair. And placing the coffee pot in the bathroom? There are so many nice hotels in the Asheville area to choose this one again.

The staff and location were the two highlights of my stay. The property is very dated and my tub had mold around where the caulking is located. My last night there while taking a shower, the water pressure went down to nothing. Only a trickle was coming out of the shower head and I had soap all over me.
