Excellent place to stay. Clean well designed room . Staff was extremely nice and friendly several choices to eat nearby east access to I-26 and airport. Nice well designed seating area in lobby and outside patio. Will make it a place to stay next time I am on the area.
Hotel is clean, comfortable, and well located near the airport and not too far from downtown. The staff is excellent and made great recommendations for things to do nearby. I stayed several weeks for work and most staff members knew me and my colleagues by name by the end of week one. Just one of those nice touches from nice people. Larry is probably my favorite staff member, as he would say hello to us all each morning and we would chat a minute or two. I stayed in several different rooms all facing the plaza and found them all equally quiet and comfortable.
Excellent hotels that presented itself at a level higher than Courtyard. I've stayed at the Hilton in Asheville and the Fairfield at the airport. This Courtyard is the best deal...and you all know what room rates are like in Asheville/Brevard. Short drive to Brevard, Sierra Nevada, and the airport.
Nice hotel, close to the airport, shopping and eateries. Clean, well designed room. About three and a half years old. Approximately 14 miles from down town. Onsite restaurant and bar. Bonus is parking garage underneath the hotel.
Spent a couple days in Asheville and stayed at this cute hotel. The new Marriott BONVoY changes are very nice. Lobby has a chic, family friendly environment with seating areas, a tv playing kid friendly movies, computers and a nice ambience. There is also a restaurant that looks nice. Mr. Craig at the front desk was so accommodating and helpful, great customer service! Rooms were nice, roomy, had a microwave and mini fridge. Nice space. Great location to Biltmore Estates. Right next to several restaurants, across the street from Target and very near the highway. Nice place.
Stayed one night. It was an excellent stay as expected by a Marriott property. The room was clean, comfortable, stylish, quiet (despite being next to the elevator). My preferences as a gold member are set to high floor which I was on the 2nd. Other than that everything else was great and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to stay in Asheville.
My Mother and I were flying out very early the next day, so decided to stay close to the airport. I have stayed at other Marriotts and they are always nice with good amenities. This one did not disappoint. The bed was super comfortable and we had a good night sleep with a view of the airport. The only negative thing was that while we were staying in the room, our room was assigned to another guest, and the guest was able to enter our room. I immediately called downstairs and received apologies. The front desk agent came upstairs with two new room cards and offered to give us free breakfast, which we could not utilize bc we were leaving at 3am in the morning. She claimed it must have been a “glitch in the system”. All I could think of was someone gaining access to our room and stealing everything. Which is why I never leave valuable items in the room. A number of things could have happened and it is imperative that these “glitches” never occur.
Stayed here two nights for work. It had a free shuttle to and from AVL airport which was nice as the airport was only about a 5 minute drive away. My room was clean, up to date and had great WiFi. I could walk to restaurants right around the hotel and even a strip mall next door with some big box stores and other smaller stores. It was nice having a fridge in my room as well. It would have been nice to have a bathtub in my room instead of just a shower stall. Front desk staff was also super friendly whenever I went there.
This courtyard is clean and very acceptable. The staff was very friendly. There is shopping close by and a few chain restaurants such as Cracker Barrell next door, Olive Garden, Chilis, and Buffalo Wild Wings about .2 miles away. If you are needing to stay by the airport, this hotel is a good choice. I will say the area is a tad sketchy though. I went into a gas station just before the turn to the hotel and I would swear the clerk was on drugs and the clientele that came inside while I was grabbing a drink were very shady.
Absolutely the Best! Courtesy and customer friendly! Rooms are very nice, food was very goodsnd priced right. Can walk to food and shopping. I highly recommend this hotel. Will be staying here on all future visits.
