Well worth a visit

The hotel was in an excellent location, pretty area, located equidistant from the lake, railway station, boutique shops or the mall. Great service and beautiful hotel. Very minor point would be that the rooms are compact, but do have everything you’d want.

Location is perfect as it is really close to train and bus terminal and within a 15 minute walk to the old city. The staff were very professional and helpful in providing guidance. The room and hotel were very clean. Loved my experience there!

Fantastic location. The old town, lake and shops are within a ten minute walk. The train and bus stations are 5 min walk. Friendly staff, very helpful. Breakfast great and in a lovely room.

I stayed here for 1 night and that was perfect. I was in the economy room and yes, it was small, but I didn’t need more especially only staying 1 night. The shower is hot with good pressure. The staff were very happy to get me an iron when I asked. It’s very easy to walk to/from the main train station and to the Lake or the Old Town. If I was staying for longer I would’ve paid for a larger room. But for one night it was good.

The hotel is just off rue Sommelier, so it's pleasant and quiet. The location was fantastic - convenient to the old section and the lake but also the covered shopping mall with the large Monoprix. I traveled solo and had a rental car. The garage was easy to get in and out of. Breakfast was very good but sometimes I headed elsewhere for a change. In the afternoon they set out coffee & tea with croissants & Speculoos cookies. The rooms were a good size and the showers were nice and hot.

Great location close to the train/bus station but also convenient to the lake and old city. The only negative was that the AC wasn’t working or on. Overall great stay and I would go back. A little noisy out back at night. Kids were hanging out and talking.

The Pitched roof was a problem. We kept banging our heads. The staff was very helpful and they only spoke French. Parking was supposed to be included but they told me I was supposed to make a reservation.

We had a great stay at Allobroges. The on-site parking was convenient. Staff (especially cleaning staff) were detail oriented and thorough. The on-site breakfast option was convenient and provided a good variety of European style breakfast foods. The room was clean, bathroom was spacious and well-stocked, and both were in excellent condition. The hotel is within easy walking distance though on the periphery of Vieux Annecy. Would stay again.

This hotel is a few minute walk to the train & bus station. A 5 minute walk gets you to the edge of the old town. In between you can find a cinema on the other side of the park and lots of shops and bistrots to choose from. The staff is professional and will help guide you to usual tourist destinations or assist you to get a drink in the evening in their small bar area. The lobby, breakfast room and rooms are modernized. The rooms seem ample for EU standards. I didn’t have breakfast there but it’s 12 euros as of March 2025. I’d definitely return if I’m in town again. Many thanks to Marie for her help at the front desk during our visit. Do visit the lake if you have time. We walked along the lake to the edge of the town of Sevrier and enjoyed the change in mountain vistas as we got further from Annecy.
