Stayed for 4 nights on a business trip back in March 2017. Hotel is getting a bit old on the lower levels but if you manage to get on the higher floors (my room was at 11th floor), it is quite pleasant with nice view and good Dead Sea products in the bathroom. Service is good. Food is good. Bar on the top floor (12?) has really nice view of the city. Mizer at the Front Desk was VERY helpful and kind, attentive to guests' needs (and we are a rather large group).
Found the room very spacious and clean. The bed was very comfortable and I was very grateful due to my long stay (two weeks) for business. I ran a conference so most of my meals were at the restaurant of the hotel. Not once did I get bored with the food, it was amazing. The amount of options available in the restaurant I defiantly had no trouble going back for more. The conference staff and the hotel staff were so accommodating and friendly that made my job, and stay easy. Especially thanks to Maricka and the conference manager her assistance was outstanding. Also thank you Rula in the dining area. The only thing that I will say that made the stay a bit challenging was the location of the hotel. Needed to be closer to more dinning restaurants and shopping.
overall good hotel but the room we were given - even though non smoking - stunk of cigarettes and was very run down. the sofa in the room was covered in stains. the hotel staff were very friendly and helpful.we ordered room service and found food to be average location is close to the sites so that was good
Spacious rooms, very good beds, good air conditioning. The breakfast was good. However, the switch of the lamp fell down, when I touched it and it tooks days until it was repaired. Smoking is allowed and my neighbour smoked (and I hated it!). Otherwise: not bad!
This is not my first trip to Amman, this time our office in Amman Reserved the rooms at Landmark Hotel. which I think was the best choice so far. The hotel offered us an executive suit in the new floors. that was really something.
Near To the airport, large choice of food, very welcoming and helpful and friendly staff. Highly recommended. Suitable for conferences. Shopping centers and touristic places reachable easily from the hotel.
I stayed at the Landmark hotel for two weeks in April. My co-worker and I were doing business within Amman. The hotel staff were always very friendly and went out of their way to accommodate us. We had a conference room dedicated to us, and the staff checked in with us daily to make sure we had everything we needed. The staff in the business centre where also very helpful. The rooms were very spacious and extremely clean, which is very important to me. I did find that for my first three days at the hotel, I could smell cigarette smoke in my room, however this stopped after a few days. The breakfast was far above average, there was every type of breakfast food one could think of and it was prepared and presented extremely well. A concern I had was that the advertisement in the hotel stated that breakfast at Colors was 7.99 JOD but we were charged 17 JOD. The outdoor bar on the roof top was a very nice place to have a drink in the evening. We met several times with the Hotel Sales manager, Bashir, and he professional and courteous to us all the time. The only negative was one male manager in the Colors restaurant was exceptionally rude to my co-worker. She wanted to take a coffee mug to our conference room and he cut her off and insulted her. He even argued with another one of the friendly staff (who worked in the office next to our conference room) about the coffee mug. This one individual was not typical of the friendly and positive staff that we encountered over the two weeks. Overall, my stay at the landmark was great. The staff (with the one exception noted), the food, rooms, and great security made our stay worry free. I will definitely stay at the Landmark when I return.
We (my daughter with the grandkids and me, grandmother) stayed in the hotel to attend a Jordanien wedding. The wedding was wonderful and all was perfect. Our room was quite big and had two large beds and a small sofa and a working desk. the swimming pool was nice and the the stuff very helpful. We had breakfast and lunch buffet and both were very good. The roof top bar is just stunning, do not miss it in the evenings. The hotel is absolutely child friendly and we never before saw a sign like here in the bathroom that you can breastfeed anywhere in the hotel and if you want your privacy they will give you a room for free during your visit. How wonderful!!! If we come back to Amman we would definitely stay here again!!!
My husband and I arrived at the hotel after midnight, check in was quick even though they told us our booked room (dbl) wasn't available and we would have to accept a twin bed or pay £25 extra per night. It was our 20th anniversary and one look at my face must have nearly killed them because they immediately upgraded us to a excutive suite free of charge. The room was excellent, bed comfortable, plenty of toiletries and a great shower. There was a great choice at breakfast all types of eggs, pancakes, waffles, pastries, doughnuts, cereals etc. Security is tight which is excellent. There was no problem in communication in english. The hotel is a taxi ride from the city centre and should cost 3JD, no more than 5.
I would like to highlight the Head Concierge, Fayez Jamous, for helping in a sticky situation. During my stay, I had two separate bookings. Unfortunately the second booking was not done in time and the hotel asked me to pack up my bags and store them while they fixed the issue. Mr Fayez took it upon himself to contact the booking agent and allowed me to leave my items in the room so as not to disrupt my stay. On another note, the food is very good! I stay in Landmark every time I visit Jordan and while the hallways smell of smoke (a hazard in Jordan where smoking is allowed in buildings) and look slightly run down, the rooms are lovely, spacious and do not smell of smoke. I look forward to returning.
