This was the perfect stay after a day exploring Death Valley. The place was really nice and clean and the host was fantastic. The best part was the view of the mountain during the day and the stars by the fire pit at night. Highly recommend.

The views of the mountains from the home were spectacular, while sitting outside in the early evening but specially in the early morning light. Also, the star gazing at night was amazing - really dark skies and a sky full of stars!The home itself was very clean, modern and well appointed. Comfortable couch and beds. Well stocked kitchen and plenty of light in the bathroom.We made it easitly into the park, going in one way to Furnace Creek the first day and through Beatty the second. That gave us great different views of Death Valley.Loved the peace and tranquility of the location.

We had a great stay at the Desert Retreat. So very quiet and comfortable - beds were just right and communication with the host went smootly.The perfect place to unwind after a busy day in Death Valley. We like to cook and found all we needed to prepare meals and the outdoor grill was perfect. We travel to DV often and will book again on our next visit.

Amazing little getaway house! Everything was spotless when we arrived. Beds were ultra comfy, basement room with the little video game area was a fun addition. Misty was super friendly and quick to respond. Perfect hub if you're visiting Death Valley. Hope to return in the future!

What an awesome place to stay and close to Death Valley NP. Recently renovated and nicely decorated. There is a downstairs bedroom that would allow two couples to have their own sleeping areas. The kitchen is more than amply stocked and supplied with everything you will need to prepare anything you can think of. Super clean and roomy bathroom as well.While wood fires weren’t allowed at the time, they did have a propane fire pit set up. There is a horseshoe pit, corn hole game and some other games for the kids. We will definitely be staying there on our travels through the area as we do from time to time verses staying in the hotel in Beatty as we’ve done in the past. Definitely a great place to stay!

Clean, well stocked kitchen, good location for visiting Death Valley NP, comfortable furniture and bed. We would stay there again if we had the opportunity. Unique and lovely place to stay.
