We just stayed one night for access to Death Valley. Check in was fast, efficient and friendly. And when we came back and asked for a room with a view of the duck pond, as it's off season, our request was granted with no issue. Nice place at a good rate.
It’s convenient for trip to Death Valley. Easy parking and friendly staff. Has a general store and gas station. Threadbare sheets. Not meant for luxury.
We canceled our breakfast order because they had one cook cooking for 40 customers. Way understaffed.
We love it!
It’s old hotel but it was nite room and clean. Just inconvenient located to access the Death Valley National Park.
Our stay at Longstreet was like stepping back in time to simplier, friendlier times. Easy in out, cordial staff, room refrigerator, excellent food in their cozy little restaurant, well-stocked gift shop, casino, and museum-quality curios throughout the hotel. The grounds are full of quirky sculptures all around the lake & chapel and there's even a petting zoo for the kids. The location is literally in the middle of nowhere but it's an easy drive to Ash Meadows Wildlife Refuge (where we saw virtually no wildlife), Beatty, Rhyolite Ghost Town, and - of course - Death Valley National Park. I'd recommend eating your meals at the hotel ('cuz there are no restaurants in the area), filling up at Longstreet's gas pumps, and stocking up on provisions from their gift shop. I'm looking forward to a return trip next year!
Great stop. Restaurant and shop conveniently located on property. Building was in good condition and clean.
Loved our stay here! Can’t beat the price and location, so close to Death Valley (36ish mins). Plus, they have fuel on site (for NV prices) mini petting zoo, year around jacuzzi, restaurant ant store. On Saturday night they had live entertainment “from Vegas”. One negative was the batch towels, worn out and small, brin your own,
Very comfortable and welcoming hotel. Large room with balcony, fireplace and dressing area with extra sink. Fun casino atmosphere including singer Johnny Byrd, nice bartender and patrons, good video poker.
Much better than I thought considering the price.
It has beautiful scenery, a restaurant, gas, a market, and a nice room for a reasonable price.
Reasonable price outside of Death Valley but pond, pool, and jucuzzi dirty. Bedding and towels substandard.
We stopped for the night on our way from Death Valley to Las Vegas. Basic hotel with a casino. There’s a convenience store on site where they don’t show you the prices for things, you gotta bring everything to the front because they “have to scan them”. The towels are small and super thin, the beds are just ok.
Quiet evenings in the Mojave listening to the universe spin.
Nice place in the middle of no where. Restaurant on site.
Quiet, friendly, NO resort fee! If you are visiting Death Valley, Pahrump or if you just hate Vegas like us we highly recommend this place. Very enjoyable stay!
Great overall experience. However, you need an air compressor.
It's a local hotel with casino. Nothing fancy about this place but good place to rest before going to the Death Valley National park. Decent restaurant with fair pricing, very nice staff, although inconsistent mask on the guests walking around in the lobby even though there are signs all over about requirement to wear mask.
