Central location and very easy to find. We got C6 bus from the airport and were there in less than 30 mins. The hotel is clean, comfortable and the staff are knowledgeable and helpful. There are no coffee making facilities in the rooms but you can help yourself to free coffee in reception any time.

Lovely hotel, excellent location, near to everything. Staff very friendly and most helpful. We had a superior room with balcony and view of castle. Would definitely stay here again in future. Airport bus stop is two minutes walk from hotel.

This is the second time we have stayed here and funnily enough had the same room. This time it had been upgraded and the beds were so comfy. The staff couldn’t do enough for you and location is excellent. You have everything on your doorstep from the beach to the restaurants. Thanks another memorable stay and certainly not the last.

We booked this hotel for it's location and dismissed a few comments about the lack of air con from previous comments. To start the good thing was that the room was so lovely and modern-ish and big. When we arrived we could check in early as the room was ready and the staff were lovely. Free coffee and a magazine, in Spanish, is a nice touch. However, being 19 degrees in April and cool air we left the balcony door open during the day as the room was sooo stuffy and hot. When we went out we closed the balcony door. Being even cooler in the evening we left the door open to sleep and I wondered whether this was wise given that there were builders working in the building directly opposite! So I was eaten alive by mosquitoes all night, I am not prone to that ever in Spain and never have been in Alicante which I have visited 3 times this year alone! I speak Spanish very well and so on asking to be changed room or for the air con to be turned on to get rid of the mosquitoes I was faced with a huge argument and a lack of understanding even though I showed the staff the lumps on my HEAD, arms and hands after having been eating alive. Their reaction was 'there are mosquitoes in Alicante even my house!' That said they did move us to another room for the evening, after some long arguments, until the mosquitoes situation was sorted but it was the hottest room like a sauna and still the air con didn't work? I was told it was one of the only rooms that air con worked in. We were also told the air con would work from 12 midday the next day, needless to say that wasn't true! It doesn't work and it beeps when you press the controls but if doesn't come on. I loved the location and the free coffee, the magazine (in Spanish) and a woman's magazine fashion which has no relevance to me. They were replaced each time by the cleaner. I loved the design of the hotel and the staff were lovely but as soon as a problem arrived they were defensive and argumentative. I speak perfectly good Spanish but I was made to feel on complaining that I was not being listened to. I feel they have a great product with a great location but forget the free nasty coffee and magazines in rooms and turn the air con in please!

Lovely 3 star hotel in an amazing location. Next to the beach and all the amenities. Stayed in room 402 from the 4-7th April Staff were kind and accommodating. Breakfast was good for the price would definitely stay here again.

I chose this hotel over others at the same location for the air conditioning and the bath in the room, as described on the website, and got neither. I like a soak in the bath and a cool room to sleep in at the end of each day, and spent 103 euros room only per night to achieve this. If replacing baths with showers, update the website! If the aircon is set to heat only at the end of march when it's 25 degrees outside, don't advertise "individually controlled air conditioning" on your website! I've seen some rather flippant responses by the management to other guest raising the same issues, and I think the hotel should take guest feedback more seriously. Overall the staff seemed a bit disengaged. Otherwise, the hotel location was good, well placed for the airport bus drop off, the beach, and the cultural sites. The breakfast was fine for the price. I enjoyed the balcony, but the room was otherwise small and standard, I've had the same amenities for a much lower price elsewhere. I'm afraid I would choose a different hotel if returning to Alicante.

City hotel being upgraded, very nice helpful staff, free 24hr tea and coffee. Located in old town, I had view of Castle from my room, 405. Walking distance to beach, bars and restaurants. Would stay here again.

Arrived at 1.30pm and was greated by a friendly lady on reception, we had a lovely quiet room on the 5th floor, very spacious, very comfy beds and pillows, towels where plentiful and changed everyday, room was a little warm in the evenings so opened the windows to let some fresh air in and we both got bit by mosquitos! Be warned! . Breakfast was continental, with plenty of fresh bread , pastries, fruit, and Spanish meats and cheeses, there's something for everyone. There's a complementary drinks machine to use throughout your stay in reception, lovely to have a cuppa at the end of your evening as its still chilly in the evenings. The location of the hotel is spot on just 1 street away from the beach, but also in the heart of the old town, the c6 bus is so easy to use from the airport no need to pay for taxis, just go to level 2 in departures the bus is right outside its €3.85, per person, takes around 20mins. Lots of different bars restaurant to choose from, beautiful beach, great nightlife with the Spanish culture. Highly recommended.

We had room for 3 people. It was really nice surprise to see that the room was so big. Great wifi. Location is excellent, close to the centrum and the beach but still quiet. Bonus was the good breakfast which was great start for the day. Staff was always smiling and helpful. Good value for the money. I defenately go there again if Im going to Alicante again.

Visited on a 4 night city break to celebrate birthday with my partner. Hotel was very easy to find following hopping on the c6 bus from the airport which only cost 3.85 euros each, better than 20 euros in taxi. Hotel only one street away from us stop. Only had standard room which was adequate as did not spend much time there. Safe was based by reception and was free of charge. Breakfast was adequate and nice environment. I have lactose intolerance and the hotel were more than happy to keep my lactofree milk in the fridge. We had a slight issue one morning with water coming through light in bathroom and we reported and the maintenance man arrived within minutes, got the bathroom in a useable safe condition for us and while we were off out for the day the repairs were completed and the bathroom and room were immaculate when we arrived back. I found all staff to be friendly and helpful. Resturants and bars in the old town were good and served some good food but the marina was a let down and would advise avoiding. The hotel was in a good position to use the tram, bus and train services. We would return and recommend for city break.
