We stayed at this hotel for four nights. Although we asked for a double bed we were given two single beds pushed together which kept moving away whilst asleep! The room was however big and clean and bathroom was also quite reasonable. The room air conditioner was quite effective The hotel is right in front of C6 airport bus stop which is quite convenient and is only 10 minutes walk from the beach and sea port. The breakfast is served in a small restaurant in the basement and does have limited choice but is still good given the price. The reception staff are helpful but have language barrier which makes it a bit difficult to communicate. Overall a decent hotel. We would not hesitate to come back in future if needed.
We came here because of the location and value for money of the hotel and we were extremely happy to stay here for a week in winter. The check in was a bit slow due to the queues but went smoothly. The hotel itself was really nice and clean and modern. The rooms were really nice clean aswell with plenty of space and over looking the town so we had great views aswell and had no trouble sleeping either. The beach was a 10 minute walk and plenty of really good bars, restaurants and shops surrounding the hotel, we couldn't have asked for a better location. The breakfast was average and don't know what lunch and dinner was like as we ate out all the time. There was a famers market across the road with a square that people would go to have a drink for the festive season and was great fun. Ps the room had really good wifi connection.
The hotel provides all your requirements for a comfortable and quiet nights stay. Good clean accommodation at a very reasonable price. The buffet breakfast at 8 euros is well worth the money. The hotel situation is ideal for discovering the town. Could not fault it will come again.
The hotel is in a great location for exploring Alicante, directly opposite the Mercado, and near to the main shopping district. The beach and marina is approx a five minute walk. We flew into Alicante airport and got a taxi to the hotel, which was €25, but it was after midnight, so could be cheaper earlier than this. There are bus stops outside the hotel which travel to the airport. The welcome in the hotel was not particularly friendly, probably due to language difficulties, and I do feel more information could have been offered to us as new tourists to the area. I agree with other reviewers who have said that this hotel is more of a business hotel than a tourist one - But you know what? That's what I actually liked about it! It was quiet and calming, and extremely clean. The only downside was that we had booked a double room and received a twin room with the beds pushed together. I don't know if this is what every double room is like however. The beds weren't even strapped together, and as myself and my husband are wrigglers, my husband actually slipped down between the two beds one night - Cue hysterical laughing in the middle of the night! I suppose we could have complained and seen if there were other rooms, but our limited Spanish would have prevented it really! The room was reasonably well equipped, with an expensive mini bar available with soft drinks and beer. No tea or coffee, and no iron - however I asked for an iron one evening and had it delivered the next morning at 7am.... which got us up early for exploring Alicante! We had breakfast the first morning in the hotel which was ok ..... but we preferred exploring the local cafes and sampling different things each day, for the same price. There are so many different cafes, bars and restaurants in Alicante it would be a shame to have the same hotel breakfast every single day. To sum up, an extremely clean hotel, ideally located for exploring the whole of Alicante. We are already planning our return - but I'd ask to see if they had an actual double bedded room next time!
Warm welcome from check in to check out. Clean, comfortable room with no late night disturbance. Centrally located with some great restaurants and tapas bars close by. Loved this hotel and will use it again.
This place is a good choice to stay in alicante for business or pleasure The hotel is very nice and the staff is very hopeful courteous for the price I think it is very good the only downside to it we could not control the air conditioning and some nights it was to hot we had to sleep on top of the bed The breakfast was good to and we would stop there again
Set on the edge of the old town and opposite the main market also the c6 airport bus stops right across the road from the hotel.modern hotel, excellent staff, good breakfast, room is standard had all we needed but didn't wow me also could not get the heating to turn down so hot at night and had to leave the window open to cool down then had a bit of noise in the early hours. My biggest thing missing in this hotel is when you walk in its just soulless just a few seats it is screaming out to have a bar in there to give it some life.overal to me it's a decent business hotel in a very good location
This hotel had many aspects for a perfect stay, superb location opposite airport bus stop and one block from metro to access coastal towns. Adjacent to main sights, marina and beach.Large, comfortable rooms, adequate bathroom.Just tea making facilities would have made a difference....... but, mindful about previous reviews which mentioned stuffy rooms, we looked at temperature control as soon as we got there. It was a mild February day, but it was obvious that to sleep well, we would need a lower temperature than the fixed 19%F.Reception could only offer to turn the heating off to our room.Even so, we needed the window open to be comfortable and despite being on a high floor, it was very noisy.
Hotel is ideally located in the centre of Alicante - easy distance to shops, beach, old town etc. Breakfast room is down in the basement and food not very appetising but sufficient. The beds aren't very comfortable however the rooms are functional and clean. The hotel in my view is more of a business rather than holiday one but I'd stay again. The Reception staff, while pleasant, aren't informing of what's going on around the city given that on check in we were asked if it was our first trip to Alicante and when advised it was we still weren't advised that the annual Carnival where thousands of the Spanish parade the streets making huge efforts with their costumes was going to happen on the Saturday night. It's central and easy to get around the city from the hotel.
It's ok, just average, no iron in the room, in the bathroom floors are a bit old or dirty to be a 4*, reception can be slow at times: the gentleman is fast, the ladies no plus rarely smile. No offense, am a trainer in customer care, very sorry. The room is nice and the TV has all but English, only 2 channels in which I wasn't interested, but a few of their channels change language with the remote. Location is quite central and the price is good.
