Located at 7,000 ft elevation beneath tall ponderosa, juniper & pinon forests of the East Mountains along the Sandia Mountains and world famous Turquoise Trail, this affordable 1,500 sf log home is situated on a ridge overlooking historic Canoncito and Cedar Crest. Just 15 min to Albuquerque, 25 min to airport and 50 min to Santa Fe. Enjoy scenic day trips to historic mining towns of Golden, Madrid & Cerillos. Continue to famous Santa Fe & Taos and visit historic old towns with outstanding restaurants and world renown galleries.

This was the perfect cozy mountain getaway for our family. Everything about this cabin was great. The host did a great job of communicating and making sure everything was set up for us, and the cabin was very well stocked with extra linens and everything we could need. Could not have been a better time away with the family. Hope to come back in the future!

Wonderful place! Rooms were comfy and the decor was so fun - all log cabin. Full kitchen with a wonderful dining table. The outdoor deck was to die for. We enjoyed the hot tub too a couple of times. Place was close to a small town called Cedar Crest and not far from the Balloon Fiesta area. I would recommend this place to anyone and also stay here again.

This authentic log cabin was so comfortable! The host was so accommodating and responsive to my emails. You will not long for anything here... spices, pots and pans, laundry, kitchen appliances, the best comforters on the beds, comfy pillows, TV and strong wifi. This is the most well taken care of property we've stayed in. It is also very safe and peaceful. It was clean, comfortable, and well equipped with everything we needed. Winter Vacation

Our family enjoyed our stay at this property. It had snowed before we arrived so it was beautiful! The road was plowed and the walks shoveled so it was easy to access with 4wd, which Brad had recommended getting in case it snowed. Our family would stay here again.
