I stayed here for 6 months while on assignment in New Mexico. My room was massive, king bed was very comfortable. The hotel is clean and overall very quiet with the exception of the occasional dog barking. The pool area is well kept, although I never used it. Staff is happy and respected my privacy, as well as my need to sleep during the day. No worries about housekeeping making racket in the hallway every morning! Parking wasn't a problem. I felt very safe there, the surrounding area isn't a host for riff-raff. Plenty of food and shopping choices nearby. This place was perfect for me and I have no complaints. I will definitely stay there again if I ever go back to New Mexico.
I like this hotel and the view is great. This is the so many times I am here for a longer stay. The frontdesk is friendly and I recommend this hotel for all! A good hotel to stay with fam./friends! IK
No one said they don’t clean the room except for every 7 days. Hotel was smelly, dirty. We had to go get clean linens and take out our own trash. Dog areas were so dirty with poop I wouldn’t take my dog there! Horrible experience.....never stay at another one again!
Tucked away this little hotel seemed nice from the curb.. Minor issues with the room, if had we spent longer than just sleeping there we would have had an issue.. Lights were exposed in the kitchenette & shorted out, the bathroom smelled like piss, it was slight but still piss... If we didn't have to be at an event so soon this room would have been changed.... Also make sure the room with a View isn't the one looking at a brick retaining wall and a car dealership.. If we had been on the other side of the hotel there would have been a great view of Sandia Mountains.. I don't think the hotel was 1/3 fill ( empty parking lot).., Will spend the extra money for La Quinta in the future
Love the room! Comfortable bed, full kitchen with needed cooking supplies, great location. Mega shopping nearby. Location felt safe. Staff were very helpful. So glad we chose this hotel. Clean and comfortable
My wife and I stayed here for two nights as many of the reviews were positive. However, as soon as I arrived I was not impressed. The hotel is old and worn. When I stepped into the one elevator they have, it smelled awful! My wife commented on how bad it smelled before I had a chance to say anything. The room itself was OK and clean, but also looked as if it had seen better days. It was very noisy on the first night. I could here doors slamming and people talking through the walls, the second night was not as bad, as I don’t think they had a lot of guests that night. Staff was friendly and helpful and I noticed the local police checking the parking lot. The worst part was seeing all the feces around the parking lot, are people not picking up after their dogs? While I have stayed at worse places, this one was disappointing and I will not stay here again. I’ve stayed at other Extended Stay America’s in the past and had a good experience then, but not this time.
Staff was great, room was nice, beds were comfortable but bathroom smelled of smoke coming in through the vents I’m assuming the people either above us or below us were smoking. No ice machines or coffee maker
I stayed here because I had a very early Dr. visit at Pres. Rust - It is a nice hotel. The room we got had 2 full size beds. It was a large room with a kitchen. The room could use a facelift, the linens and towels were older. The bed spreads were older and not super clean. The "go" breakfast was granola bars and prepackaged muffins, and coffee. Not bad, better than no breakfast at all. The room us advertised at $58. but that was for one person 1 bed. my total was $81 with 2 people 2 beds including tax. Still not a bad value for the area. I would stay here again.
All of the staff specially Brianna (Hope I'm spelling it right) were Amazing! I highly recommend this hotel to anyone who needs a nice place to stay on business, or pleasure. It is in a very good neighborhood, with lots of shopping, restaurant, and other options. Great room. Bed was very comfortable, room was extremely nice. Had a comfortable couch, and recliner. Loved the bathrooms, and everything. I'm just so happy! We have to come here on business, and other things. The hotel is very centrally located, and I have stayed at 5 star hotels that weren't this nice! I won't stay anywhere else here! The Extended Stay America hotel in Rio Rancho, New Mexico is excellent for short stays, or long stays. Thank you all so much! Beautiful hotel, and AWESOME STAFF!!!
We needed to stay here for several months after relocating while waiting for our house to be ready. While living as a minimalist in a hotel is not ideal, this is an ideal place to do just that. The staff is wonderful and always cheerful and happy to help. Cleanliness and maintenance are high priorities and the location is great. We have really enjoyed utilizing the pool and the park across the street! We would recommend Ext Stay to anyone
