Alaska Airlines baggage allowance

You’re allowed one carry-on bag plus one personal item, such as a purse, laptop or briefcase. The maximum dimensions for your carry-on luggage is 24 inches long, 17 inches wide and 10 inches high. Fees apply for additional carry-on luggage.

For checked baggage you must pay $25 for your fist and second bags, either at check-in online or at the kiosk. For any additional bags beyond the first two, a further fee of $75 per bag applies. Checked bags must weigh less than 50lbs and have a maximum dimension of 62 inches (linear). First class passengers can check two bags for free.

How to check-in with Alaska Airlines

You can check-in with Alaska Airlines in one of three ways: on your mobile, online or at the kiosk. Online check-in can be done between one and 24 hours before your flight. Print off your boarding pass and drop any checked luggage at the desk before you fly. You can also choose your seat, upgrade or get a receipt. Check-in on your phone and you’ll get a digital boarding pass. Check-in at the kiosks in the departure area of the airport, available on the day of your flight up until 40 minutes before take-off.

Alaska provides a variety of seating choices options and selection of food and drinks options for purchase. There are power outlets to charge devices and WiFi so you can stay connected. There are also entertainment options with free movies and TV shows in the main cabin. Premium class offers complimentary beverages.

I really appreciated that they came through the cabin and personally told each passenger with a connecting flight where there next gate would be and how to get there from our arrival gate.
