Woke up with ants crawling on me and they were all over the room. I don’t know how they got in there but I won’t ever stay again.
The hotel was clean and the front desk staff was friendly. She was ready with our booking info when we checked in.
The property is in the midst of being updated. There was construction in progress in the area we were staying. The maintenance staff and contractors were very courteous to the patrons of the hotel with tegard to noise and equipment . We loved that the property was dog friendly.
Pleasantly surprized by amenities. Continntal breakfast very good. Staff very friendly.. More cable TV stations than we have at home. Good restaurants nearby.
Property is far away from Interstate highway. Staff in this hotel are really good.
Worst night I've ever spent at a hotel. First it was obvious that the sheets had not been changed. Sheets were extremely Winkler and I found a waded up Kleenex between them. But The worst was that the air conditioning did not work well. After suffering for two hours, I left the room. Talked with the night manager who said to me "yeah, the air conditioning throughout the hotel is just not kicking it". He indicated that lots of people were complaining. I told him I was going to sleep in my car, which I did. Didn't phase him. After paying $130 for our room, paid another $40 running my car all night so that I could sleep in it. So uncomfortable. Then breakfast could not keep up with demand. Every time the eggs or sausage would come out everyone would run up and grab it. Very far cry from the "buffet" it advertised. Only count on Continental. Heard the lady serving in the kitchen say " I wish I had another microwave". We were only there midnight to eight but enough for me to know I would NEVER do it again.
The facility was kept clean and it was well organized.
Nice and quiet. Allows you to focus and sleep. Good food nearby.

It's not a bad place, but there's a few aspects that colored the experience. 1. The bathroom lighting was right out of a horror movie; either one or both of the bulbs would flicker every time they were turned on to the point where it would probably set off an epileptic. 2. A few "questionable red spots" in the bathtub. I don't mind a suite where Alfred Hitchcock may have shot a scene, but I would rather have requested it, directly. 3. Sort of weird the tub/shower had a marking for HOT water. I never was able to find anything above "tepid." 4. I'm glad they decided to upgrade their door locks from a traditional key system to a keycard system, but it probably would have been a good idea to remove the old locks instead of painting over the sculpey clay they used to fill the hole. Overall, it wasn't a bad place, but there's plenty of ways to not do the things above.
Front desk staff was friendly, room was very clean and spacious. Breakfast was better than your normal continental breakfast. Would definitely stay again.
