We are travelling for our honeymoon and booked patio Pacific as it was listed as beachfront and the photos looked fabulous (the photographer must be magic) This was by no means a cheap option, so when we arrived we were severely disappointed, but had already paid online so there was no backing out. We checked in, had to leave a deposit, tried to pay this using Amex (listed on their wall as accepted) the woman spoke to her colleague for a little while and just laughed, we went through 3 cards before they took one. The room had a window but you cannot see out of it, it also does not open so may as well not be there. There were ants in the bathroom. Wifi does not reach the room, even though there is a password for each floor. The most disappointing part for us though was that this hotel is listed as beach front. It is in no way by the beach! You have to cross the very busy road, and go down an alley way in which they are doing major renovations (also no info on this when booking) it's a good 5-6 min walk until you get to the beach. When we asked reception how we would walk to Mount Luho they again spoke amongst themselves and laughed at us, we literally just walked out and figured it out for ourselves. So so disappointed because everything else we have experienced in Boracay has been fabulous. Please do not waste your money and stay here! So many better hotels that are actually beach front.
Nice and clean hotel . Very close to the highway, near to shops and local restaurants . The price is good comparing to the beachfront hotels. They offer a huge swimming pool. Very clean . And safe . #DrMoAlassiri
Very average hotel. Rooms would deserve renovation. Breakfast is ok. Wherever you are at the hotel it's noisy because of the main road. They were doing some work in a part of the hotel while we were there so it was also more messy than usual I imagine.
Overall stay was great but the downside us it's not beachfront. It is closer to the main road. You need to walk through a small alley going to the beach. Room and bathroom were nice. They made the room look romantic for our honeymoon by putting dove shaped towels and rose petals. So nice and sweet. Breakfast menu selection was good and omelette prepared by the cook upon request was tasty. Pool is old and quite far from the hotel rooms.
The rooms are nice but getting old. Ventillation is not good as the bathrooms only have 1 window and no exhaust. Overall stays here are great though and breakfast is always awesome. Staff is also nice.
We have booked this hotel through their booking personnel here in manila. We are glad that this hotel makes our transfer from kalibo to boracay and vice versa worry free, cause they have already included it in our booking and cost us less more than if we do it our self. They have average good looking rooms. We took the good for 5 pax room. They have free buffet breakfast that we always look forward during our stay. Yes there is a construction going on that maybe not good to walk thru but construction is everywhere in Bora. Overall we have good night sleep in this hotel although its not beachfront but a little walk won't hurt until you see the crystal clear beach of the island. I jsut hope they can do something with the mosquitoes at night outside the room. And a stronger wi-fi connection too.
My Boracay accomodation strategy has always been about choosing a hotel at the back (not beach front) since comes out cheaper but its just as good. And this place was exactly like that. Good: Affordable price. Clean and decent rooms. Good location at station 2. Beside the road if you plan to take a trike to elsewhere. Quiet even beside a busy road. Bad: we had to move rooms in the middle of the night because our aircon malfunctioned. Talk about hassle. To look out for: the walk from the hotel to the beach is pretty shady. It goes thru a short alley with construction and bystanders are always there even at around midnight which can be unsafe. But nothing happened to us though. Food (breakfast): nothing worth mentioning -- since you dine outside of the hotel anyway. Can't argue with the price. Minus the bad aircon experience, I'd still say its a good stay.
Lovely staff, nice pool, average room, but please be aware they are renovating this hotel and you have to walk through a building site every day . Don't trust the pictures, they are misleading and the rooms are on the other side of a busy and dangerous bit of the road. When the work is finished it might be ok, but avoid until then.
We stayed last March 30-April 1, i availed of the travel promo sale. The package was affordable - with free airport transfer, breakfast and the resort's facilities - gymn, pool and wall climbing! The resort may not be beach front but there is an easy access to the white beach and so near restaurants! The room is clean and spacious, aircon is cool - if you dont want to go outside in the heat, the room is a perfect place to rest and curl up, enjoy the bed! They provide free bottled water, but only on the first day, but they provide towels and toiletries. Security is not a problem. Even though our room is near the street, we were not bothered by the noise. The staff are hospitable and friendly, always with a smile. Breakfast is good - from bread, to rice, congee, fruits, viands, salad and cereals, they have an egg station... The only downside is the wifi and the present construction of the west wing. But I cant wait to go back... and yes, i'll be recommending it to my family and friends!
We stayed here earlier this month to start summer 2017. Awesome rooms, friendly staff, and delicious food at their restaurant. These sets Patio Pacific Boracay apart from the other resorts on the island. Highly recommended resort in Boracay!
