We stayed here during a company event. We were assigned a double room at the 3rd floor of the rear building. Room has a view of the pool and located in the quieter area of the hotel. However, it can be quite a walk going to the room. Thus, imagine our dismay when our key card won't work because the walk back to the reception area is far. We had it changed twice but to no avail. The receptionist ended up lending us the main key. The room is spacious with 2 queen sized beds and a day bed. The beds are comfortable and we had a good sleep. The bathroom though needs a lot of improvement. The shower area is tight. The soap dish is broken. The towels are worn out. Housekeeping can do a better at cleaning the bathroom. Food is not that good. There's limited choices for breakfast buffet. We had dinner buffet from the hotel and the food was average. I advise you to just eat elsewhere. The hotel is great for those looking for a beachfront location (though I still recommend swimming in Station 1) in an area near DMall and the shops/restaurants. Personally though, given my better experience with other resorts, this is not a place that I'll choose to return to in the future.
After a scenic short 45 minute flight from Manila we landed at Caticlan Airport. From there it's a short tricycle ride to the main ferry terminal for the 10 minute trip to the beaches of Boracay Island. The manic disembarkation terminal with all its boats and people is an old world welcome to this crazy place that moves thousands of people , freight and vehicles seem lessly. Once on Boracay it's another short trip by electric vehicle to Boat Station 2 the home of the beachfront old world style hotel. Upon entry a welcome drink arrived, The check in was easy and the standard room spacious clean and comfortable. My only suggestion is avoid room 102, it's very close to reception and the phone and guests keep coming most of the night. The staff are professional friendly and appear to enjoy their work. The hotel is a little tired but it more than makes up for its appearance with a perfect location. If old world service and style anda perfect central beach position is what your looking for then this hotel more than fits the bill
My husband and I stayed at Le Soleil for 5D/4N. it was a nice hotel located at the beach front. Staff were very accommodating. Rooms were cozy and the pool was also good enough to relax and take a dip. Food for breakfast could improve, though, by adding for choices. But overall, we're quite happy and satisfied with our stay and we don't mind coming back.
Hotel Le Soleil de Boracay, located in exactly on one of the best area at Boracay station 2. The resort is at beachfront, best views of the sea and sunset view. Perfect location easy access to the island's most crowded area like bars, restaurants, cafes, bamboo markets where selling lots of stuffs & souvenirs, and boutiques are just few steps away, many local guys promote and selling sea activities in front of the hotel, so the area is awesome & crowded no matter day or night. But please consider twice if you prefer quiet area! Guest is warm welcomed with a refreshing drink upon check in. Hotel staffs are helpful & friendly. This is 3 star hotel & the room is nice & clean but a bit old. Standard Breakfast is included. They do have good seafood buffet dinner with affordable & discount price for hotel guest. The only thing I am truly dissatisfied is no wifi at all in the rooms especially at ground floor. Only provided at lobby area. - [ ]
Room: We got a room good for 4 pax. I would have rated it 5 if it weren't for the smell of the comfort room. If my memory serves me right, it is Room 119. There were noises from repairs conducted during the day. There's a bar. Buffet for Breakfast. Spacious restaurant. There's an area where you can eat by the Beach. Location: Very near to different establishments. Service: Excellent hotel service.
I got two rooms, a sea view for me and my wife and a premier room by the pool for the adult kids. I would not recommend the sea view rooms unless you are a party animal. I say this because there is a club next door to the hotel to the north. This place pumps music very loudly until 3 or 4 in the morning and can be heard from every sea view room as if you had the tv on full volume. Other than that, during the day, the room is very nice. The balcony provides a great view of the beach and is nice for relaxing and people watching. Its very spacious and nicely decorated. I don't think the room is worth putting up with the loud music, but if you're not in the room until after 4am, then it might not bother you. As for the premier room by the pool, this was also a very nice room with a better bathroom. Very spacious and nicely decorated. Very nice to be so close to the pool and away from all the noise. I liked the pool. The design of it is very different and it does have waterfalls, you just need to ask someone to turn them on. The breakfast buffet was good. Easy to find a nice place to sit and a good variety of choices to choose from. The location is good, not too busy and close to a lot of shops and places to eat. I might stay here again if they have the rooms on sale and I can get one way in the back away from all the noise.
First time to boracay and booked the pick up service and premier deluxe. Pick up service: I called through intl phone call and asked THREE TIMES if its private pick up for just two of us, and the front office lady said so confidently that it is a private pick up and boat as well.. Well.. as soon as i got to the airport I realised its not.. it was a full packed vehicle pick up (even seating two people at the driver's row) The hotel: As soon as I entered the room (premier deluxe) .... i was like what is this... it was like a motel kind of room with broken toilet flush we asked to change the room(maintenence guy tried to fix and it did not work) and the front office said its fully booked. Then we called again is there any sea view room then she said we can get upgrade with an extra 4000 peso per night. That time we just gave up and already wanted to go back home.. We asked for discount and got the sea view room (still price is too high) We knew that there will be the noise from the streets and clubs. but BE AWARE THE NOISE IS 1000TIMES MORE THAN WHAT YOUR EXPECTING UNTIL 4 TO 5AM (peak is from the midnight till 4am) If u can party all night and until the morning yes its a great room but otherwise.. this will just drive u crazy
The winning quality of this hotel is its location. Very near D'Mall and a lot of great restaurants. Warm and accommodating staff. Nice pool. Was not able to try their food 'cause we woke up too late for breakfast but I heard they were good too. Simple rooms that are a little bit old but OK nevertheless. We had one that had a view of the pool from the balcony. You can find better hotels in Boracay at their prices though. It was a good stay nonetheless.
Disclaimer - We stayed at this hotel in 2011 so things may have changed. The rooms and bathroom were just OK, a little run down. We stayed in a family room which included loft and that was fun and spacious to stay in. The breakfast was OK, the dining room a bit small. The best part of this hotel is the location right on the beach and the beach staff are so nice and helpful.
My wife and I our two small kids ( age 4 & 7) loved this place. This was our 4th trip to Boracay and we finally found the place for us that was a decent price. The staff were very friendly and professional. The location was great for us despite the late night faint thumping of the club next door. The restaurant's breakfast was very good and full of diversity. We loved how you could eat breakfast and look out onto the beach and how quick you were able to get to the beach and to the pool. We would recommend this place to anyone of our friends.
