Went Last time in February we decide to came back because the staff are always very friendly, smiling and helpfull, maybe the hotel is Not new But the Central position on station 2 is comfortable and easy to go out.
We didn't stay in the hotel but ate there when we arrived. The buffet spread was a bit okay...i didn't like the pasta because the white sauce was SWEET - weird. The other foods were fine since preparations were basic.. either grilled or fried. Buffet is priced at P500/pax. 10 courses I think? If you will try everything, it sure is filling. Hahaha! But I wouldn't say it's an "experience."
You'll want to understand Boracay a little before you read this review. Station 2 is probably the most happening of all the areas of Boracay. That means that there is bound to be some loud music going on during the night around this hotel. If you are a really sensitive sleeper. Station 1 is the way to go. If you want lively bars and a great location close to some of the best restaurants. This might be your hotel. But this is not a party hotel. I'd recommend staying here if you are a family with kids. And there were plenty of those when I was there. Actually Boracay is a great place for anyone. Any age. And this is a great location. I've stayed here before during a visit some years back. The hotel has been maintained well and is a great base in Boracay. Go for Superior Deluxe rooms if you want a window and want to be close to the swimming pool. Staff made you feel super welcome right away. The rooms are nice. Everything you'd expect is provided. Nice strong WiFi, working refrigerator and the bathroom is basic and comes with the amenities you'd expect. Breakfast has enough of a variety that I was happy during several days. Anyone should be able to find what they need. We also tried out the buffet at the hotel for dinner. Well worth it. Food was excellent. And do yourself a favour. Stay for the happy hour. I tried out the drinks at the bar next door. And the lack of alcohol content was remarkable. Not so at the hotel bar. The hotel is right on the beach and offers it's guests towels and security on the beach. There's a guard on duty which will also be happy to see to it that you get a plentiful supply of your favorite drinks. I really love this place and I'm happy to recommend it to anyone looking for a great hotel in Boracay. I know where I'll be staying next time.
stayed here last april and chose thise hotel for the good location. it is near dmall and any other bars in the island. price is reasonable. service was great staffs were very nice.. but for less crowded place try station 1
Went here on may for my friends birthday! location was the best. beach front and in the middle of the chaos of station 2. staff were also very attentive especially the reception and the security guys on the beach front. Breakfast was ok there are couple of times food ran out. internet at rooms are ridiculous as weve stayed here 3 days and internet in the room did not work. We have called several times however it just didnt work. We will stay here again in the near future. also there is a club beside this resort which can get a bit noisy until 3-4am
Despite being close to the party places, we didn't really hear loud music from our room. So if you want a sound sleep at night, ask for the rooms that's just a few steps away from the reception. We got their Premiere Room that is just a located at the ground level and is facing the pool. The room has two queen size beds and is spacious enough to house three guests. They also got towels and toiletries in the bathroom so that will save you so much space in your bags. The resort also has their own pool in case you want to go for a dip where it's more private and less crowded. Their restaurant offers buffet that is, I heard, one of the bests in the island. For only around Php400, you may already enjoy unlimited food including shrimps, oysters, mussels, and crabs!
Hotel Location - The location of the hotel is very near the establishments, it wasn't really a problem to go to D'MALL or any restaurants. It is also in front of the beach, where they have available beach chairs for hotel guest use only (really relaxing! Feel free to sleep) Staff - We had a problem with looking for the staff in our area as our room was in the farthest part of the hotel. When we had a problem with the door lock, we had to go back thrice to the reception area which was quite a walk. They should assign their staff in each floor of the hotel or have them rove. They could also add a phone in the floor so if ever other guests experience what we had it wouldn’t be a problem. Don’t get me wrong, the staff were nice when you talk to them or when you ask questions or directions, they were accommodating. Price - It is not the most affordable hotel in the area but with the location and cleanliness of the hotel, Money was good. This is a good place for families, friends (who are not on a super tight budget) and corporate events. Food - Breakfast buffet is yummy. We actually enjoyed it especially with the beach view. The front desk even delivered a free cake for my best friend’s birthday. Others- They had a swimming pool, which is great when you want a little privacy from all the beach crowd. The Massage places near the hotel were all fully booked, so we tried the one that Le Soleil offers and it was really good, we actually fell asleep, it was a good choice because right after the massage we just slept (no need to walk because we were in a different establishment). It was a good experience with Le Soleil and I recommend it if you are looking for a place to stay in Boracay.
If your going on a quiet family holiday or need a place to rest your head then this isn't the place for you. Because this place is in the heart of all the night life you won't ever get a decent nights rest. Other than that it's fairly priced, good service, clean rooms, comfortable beds and friendly staff.
We stayed here during a company event. We were assigned a double room at the 3rd floor of the rear building. Room has a view of the pool and located in the quieter area of the hotel. However, it can be quite a walk going to the room. Thus, imagine our dismay when our key card won't work because the walk back to the reception area is far. We had it changed twice but to no avail. The receptionist ended up lending us the main key. The room is spacious with 2 queen sized beds and a day bed. The beds are comfortable and we had a good sleep. The bathroom though needs a lot of improvement. The shower area is tight. The soap dish is broken. The towels are worn out. Housekeeping can do a better at cleaning the bathroom. Food is not that good. There's limited choices for breakfast buffet. We had dinner buffet from the hotel and the food was average. I advise you to just eat elsewhere. The hotel is great for those looking for a beachfront location (though I still recommend swimming in Station 1) in an area near DMall and the shops/restaurants. Personally though, given my better experience with other resorts, this is not a place that I'll choose to return to in the future.
After a scenic short 45 minute flight from Manila we landed at Caticlan Airport. From there it's a short tricycle ride to the main ferry terminal for the 10 minute trip to the beaches of Boracay Island. The manic disembarkation terminal with all its boats and people is an old world welcome to this crazy place that moves thousands of people , freight and vehicles seem lessly. Once on Boracay it's another short trip by electric vehicle to Boat Station 2 the home of the beachfront old world style hotel. Upon entry a welcome drink arrived, The check in was easy and the standard room spacious clean and comfortable. My only suggestion is avoid room 102, it's very close to reception and the phone and guests keep coming most of the night. The staff are professional friendly and appear to enjoy their work. The hotel is a little tired but it more than makes up for its appearance with a perfect location. If old world service and style anda perfect central beach position is what your looking for then this hotel more than fits the bill
