Excellent location and accommodations
The bungalow was exactly as pictured and in a great location. It was a beautiful home base and away from the crowds and traffic of Honolulu and Waikiki. From the bungalow it was easy to get to pretty much anywhere we wanted to go. The hosts were very friendly and accommodating. We had an evening arrival to Oahu with a flight delay and luggage issues at the airport so we arrived quite late but they were waiting for use on arrival to get us settled in. We would definitely stay there again when in Oahu.

Great stay at the bungalow
We had a great stay in the bungalow. We especially enjoyed the following:
1. The privacy. The bungalow is situated behind the owner’s home, and there’s a private walkway leading to the front door of the bungalow. There’s a lot of lush vegetation around the bungalow and no street noise.
2. The view from the porch. The bungalow is situated on a hillside, and the porch of the bungalow faces downhill, allowing you see miles off into the distance.
3. The cleanliness. There’s a “shoes-off” policy in the bungalow which helps ensure the space stays clean.
4. The TV. Larger screen than what’s typically provided by a rental, and access to many cable channels.

Lovely bungalow
We came out to Hawaii for two primary reasons. The Eagles concert and to see our grandchildren who had just moved back to Hawaii from Washington just two weeks prior. Since their place was barely moved in to we decided to stay close to the stadium making our concert travel close and easy. The bungalow was perfect. Great sized for just the two of us and was there for us when we came back to settle in the evenings. We didn't spend much time there due to all of the activities we had planned and the visiting we did, but when we needed it, it was absolutely perfect. Great location to make your central hub to the entire island. We visited the North Shore from here, the west coast, the east coast and all of the southern coast. It was a short drive to wherever we needed to go, and we were always on the go.

EXACTLY as expected, and MORE!
We celebrated our honeymoon (25 years delayed) at KT Aloha. Our 5-night stay in the bungalow, up on the hill in Aiea, was the perfect start to our trip.
KT Aloha is a quiet, private oasis on Oahu, central to everything/anything you want to see and do while on the island. It is up and away from the hustle and bustle of Honolulu and Waikiki, in an established residential area. In fact, it offers an amazing, distant view of the higher populated areas, without the noise and stress, from its back lanai (where we spent every morning and evening.) The bungalow is clean and comfortable and is the perfect retreat for an active couple who wants to spend their days exploring every nook and cranny of Oahu. KT Aloha is within 40 minutes of any other spot on the island, a fantastic "home base" for your trip.
Kelly and Trent (and Miles!) are welcoming, friendly, helpful, and eager to please. They greeted us with hugs and leis, and helped us settle in, assisting with our bags and giving us an overview of the property. They even had dinner and breakfast provisions (including eggs from "Da Girls") waiting for us--a huge and much appreciated gesture after a long day of traveling! Their hospitality is endless and included helpful tips for things to do and see (with reminders to stay safe and alert during our wanderings); loaned snorkel gear; and even a bottle of champagne and card, recognizing our anniversary.
It is next to impossible to complain about KT Aloha. If anything, our only (very minor) inconvenience was that the thermostat on the dryer seemed to be failing; clothes and towels didn't always dry efficiently. A very, very small issue...
If we are ever fortunate enough to return to Oahu, KT Aloha would be our first booking. Our sincere thanks to our friends Kelly and Trent, for sharing their very special property!

Fantastic! Amazing hospitality...
Spotless new cottage with a view. We were there to celebrate my granddaughters first birthday. The very kind owner brought me wrapping paper, scissors, tape and pink tissue paper and then helped me wrap the birthday presents! She also gave me a face mask because I told her I was worried about spreading my cold/flu to the baby. I will always remember her hospitality. The cottage is beautiful, spacious and new in a very nice neighborhood. We hiked each morning in a forest/state park nearby. The kitchen had everything a well equipped kitchen should have including a Magic Bullet to make smoothies. We will definitely return.

Amazing, Comfortable, Away from the hassles of big city, Quiet, Clean and the View!!
Can't say enough about our gracious hosts Kelly and Trent! Truly beautiful and thoughtful. They have made a beautiful Hawaiian retreat. We were on the go every day touring the entire island and felt like home when returning at the end of each exhausting day. Our bed was soft and cozy. Perfect spot high up and in the center of the island to venture off. Thank you for the Pineapple the beautiful Lei the fresh eggs from the girls. Making sure we had an umbrella for a rainy day and the true Hawaiian hospitality! We hope to return to your bungalow again one day. You will not go wrong with this one!!

Peaceful & Quiet
What a wonderful trip. Been to Oahu several times but this was the most peaceful location yet. Close to shopping and restaurants. Centrally located. Clean with all the comforts of home. A beautiful view is the icing on the cake. Kelly & Trent were gracious hosts. We would definitely recommend staying here. We look forward to returning.

Beautiful oasis of a place with even more beautiful people managing it.
Before our booking with Kelly and Trent they provided us early assurances of assistance with island info once we arrived, an additional video of the entrance to the property and general confidence with our decision to stay at their cottage. We were pleased when we arrived! It's exactly as they describe, but you have to be there to see it's more! It's private, beautifully decorated, has a lanai overlooking part of Pearl Harbor and the ocean, a big lychee tree in back with sprawling branches for beautiful birds to visit, great double doors that open in the front and back of the house to let the Hawaiian breeze blow through, NO bugs, comfortable and attractive new furniture, everything you need to make coffee & cook a few breakfasts, and a very roomy bathroom. It's ridiculous how I could go on and on! We couldn't wait to wake up in the am and sit on the lanai to hear the distant wild roosters crow & see the city awaken. You see the long lights of commuters on the interstate coming and going to work but it's so far away there's no sound and the sight is like the lifeline of Oahu reminding you of how lucky you are not to be in traffic. Unfortunately, we worked almost our entire trip but we couldn't wait to get home to our bungalow each night and enjoy our take-out meals on the lanai again or watch the big screen tv in the living area. Kelly and Trent are the most accommodating and sweetest hosts we've ever met. They held a work-related gathering for us with locals (and gave us our first real leis), prepared a home cooked dinner on one of our late work nights, and even shared fresh laid eggs from their beautiful chickens. They even shared a giant avocado from the garden with us!
We enjoyed our experience here in Aiea so much that it was the most relaxing part of our trip and renewed us each day.
Thank you so much! We'll never forget it, want to see you and new friends again and hope to come back to Oahu to experience the pleasures of the island next time.

Special...
...a very special place that taught two mainlanders the true meaning of Aloha thru Kelly & Trent and their sharing of this wonderful, wonderful bungalow and their longtime, thorough knowledge of Oahu.We had a truly amazing time. KT Aloha is beautifully and lovingly decorated...clean and new...with everything you'd want, including awesome WiFi and entertainment center, the cutest little laundry room, a gorgeous, well-appointed kitchen, and the most incredible lanai overlooking Pearl Harbor and, off in the distance, Honolulu airport's runways . We loved watching the planes land and enjoying the awesome view and breeze from this spectacular lanai. While coming and going each day, it was also very moving to see the USS Arizona Memorial and USS Missouri right there, down the street, in the Harbor. Wonderful location! From up on the hill, we were able to take off and explore all the Island's fabulous offerings with ease. The grounds are also really pretty! Kelly and Trent have created a private oasis with... just to name a few things...banana trees, a pineapple field, and sweet little hens that will provide you some fresh eggs, if you desire.Sigh. I am ready to go back! Thank you KT Aloha.

What a porch and view!
I knew the house in Aiea would be a home run and it exceeded my expectations. Our hosts, Kelly and Trent, met us upon our arrival - to give us a quick run through of the amenities. We couldn't have been more pleased. Opening the French doors to the porch brought in the wonderful Hawaiian trade winds. There was always an awesome breeze to keep you cool and relaxed. My favorite spot was the porch, where I enjoyed the wonderful view. It was especially gorgeous at night, with the city lights. The décor of the bungalow is rich but comfortable, featuring many antique items. Kelly and Trent have a great eye for color, the effect of which is a tranquil, relaxing atmosphere. The kitchen is well stocked. The entire house is absolutely immaculate. Kelly and Trent went above and beyond to welcome us and showered us with the wonderful Hawaiian ohana spirit throughout our stay. This property is a gem!
