This was my second time staying here. The location is wonderful. The views! I asked for a room on the top floor with views of the Plaza. Hearing the local musicians play below, as well as the church bells from across the way, just made my heart so happy. The new (to me) water & light features in the plaza was mesmerizing from above in my room and below walking around the entire plaza. The service was great as before. Pay extra $ for the modest breakfast buffet. The free continental bfast is very limited. The lobby is spacious with different sitting areas which can accommodate many different groups of people at a time. I am hoping to return next year and plan to stay at Quality Inn Aguascalientes.
This is a wonderful hotel in the city center. The breakfast does cost about $5.00 but is worth every penny. The staff was helpful, even with my lack of fluent Spanish. We requested a city view and got a balcony to boot. Wonderful wood and marble surroundings.
Location was great (my room overlooked the Plaza - and was privy to a very good symphonic band concert through an open window). Dead quiet otherwise. Everything was slickly professional from reception and parking our car to our room's amenities. Good breakfast. The only thing lacking was a touch of the unusual.
Just got married in Aguascalientes and had my family and wedding party stay at the Quality Inn. This hotel is perfectly located to enjoy the historical downtown and the Fair of San Marcos if you are there in the spring time. This hotel is well maintained and very clean. The customer service is way above expectations and the staff treated us like family while we were there. They went out of their way to help us secure taxis and shuttle rides to the airport. The breakfast is amazing and just a few pesos to upgrade to a hot breakfast, well worth it! This is by far the best hotel and a great value for any stay in Aguascalientes. We had a few people stay at the more expensive Marriott and they wished they would have stayed at the Quality Inn. Thanks to all the staff who made our wedding weekend so special!
In my business trips I have stayed in some hotels of this chain, but this caught my attention because despite being very up to date with the most modern comforts, the hotel retains an ancient spirit of the city and the colonial period It does this very well this chain to blend the modern with rustic wood finishes era. Facing the square of the city is a great place to stay and if you like walking in the mornings find many shops within walking distance as well as the cathedral of Aguascalientes. At night there is no noise because the streets that surround it are small and there is no traffic, the strip passes under a bridge just below the center of the city. Here you'll find free WiFi and continental breakfast included A very special experience for connoisseurs.
We recently stayed at this hotel based on reviews on Tripadvisor and found this to be a great choice, particularly if you plan to explore the historic center of town. Most of the major attractions are within easy walking distance. The hotel is nicely decorated and well maintained with helpful staff and some English spoken. The continental breakfast provided is basic with fruits, cereals, yogurts and breads, coffee and fresh juice with excellent service by the staff. A full breakfast buffet is available for a cost. Aguascalientes itself is a large industrial city, however, there are some nice churches and gardens that are worth seeing. They also have several museums, although we only visited the "Museum of the Dead" which was quite interesting but beware that all of the descriptors are in Spanish only (an English brochure is available). All in all, it is worthwhile spending some time exploring what Aguascalientes has to offer.
Right in the heart of Aguascalientes. You are right in the center of the city with multiple restaurants and tourist attractions right at your door step. Personally, I rather stay here when I'm in Aguascalientes rather than a modern hotel on the outskirts of town, which requires transportation to go anywhere. The service from the staff is average. Some seem more enthusiastic about their job than others. The hotel is a little bit dated but adequately clean. Parking is free in a very tight garage underneath the hotel (you are in an area where buildings are 100s of years old so you can't expect too much more). Breakfast buffet is average. It has pan dulce, cereal, yogurt and some fruits. Hot items are available at the breakfast buffet but these will cost you extra.
Beautiful hotel in downtown. In summer, ask for the back rooms instead of the front and don't mind the view. Bathroom big enough for a small gathering. Delicious free breakfast! Free enclosed parking.
Location was excellent! Customer Service was Great. It is extremely outdated the beds are rock hard as if you are sleeping on box springs. I asked if they had softer beds they said they just received all new beds. The hotel should really invest in good mattresses and not go cheap on a purchase like that. The breakfast buffet was just ok- regular bread fruit and yogurt and cereal daily same thing every day!
I have traveled and dined in Mexico quite a bit and have normally had professional service at medium priced hotels and mostly excellent food at medium priced restaurants, this hotel was no exception. The room is nice and their buffet is excellent! Most US travelers I see posting lesser reviews might want to consider that they are in Mexico and things are just a bit slower, such as check-ins and dining. In fact it is considered rude to rush someone while there.
