I stayed one night. The room is old, a/c is a bit old and makes noises, pillows and mattresses are old and uncomfortable. The rooms have a no smoking policy but they smell like cigarette. Pool was dirty (leaves, bugs, etc). Food was not good. I'm sure that it was a good hotel many years ago. Location is GOOD!
Over average hotel. It has all the usual amenities: private bathroom with hot water, coffee maker, tv, cable, safety box, free wifi in the room... at a reasonable price. Also, it is located near a big mall and supermarket where you can find anything that you need.
July 11, 2017 was my second time to spend the night at this hotel. Each time it was for a business trip. Unfortunately, that meant I did not get to go for a swim and even use the Jacuzzi (indoor spa). However, my room did have a great view of the pool and magnificently landscaped grounds - definitely an oasis inside the city. For business purposes, I would prefer a few more electrical outlets - I had to unplug the coffee maker to charge my cell phone or use my computer. Also, there was no electrical outlet at the nightstand, so I had to plug my cell phone (which I used as my alarm clock) across the room. Also, the hotel is located at least 30 minutes from the airport (more during heavy traffic hours). If you want a hotel near the airport, stay at either the Hampton Inn or the LQ Hotel (each adjacent to the new Nissan manufacturing facility).
I visited Aguascalientes's for the first time. The location is far from the Fair (Feria), but a short cab or uber ride will get you where you need. The hotel was nice. The pool was clean and maintained. The staff was polite. The breakfast at the hotel was delicious. The dinner was good but if you are at the fair you have so many good options. They have an outdated playground but it kept my 4 year old entertained. Across the hotel is a shopping center within walking distance which was nice to go to. Room was clean and comfy.
Good service, clean and pretty good installations. They have a swimming pool ( a must in Aguascalientes) and Jacuzzi. If you don't mind to stay a little bit far from the historic downtown and San Marcos festival this is the place.
The Los Trojes Hotel is 5 minutes walking distance from Altaria Shopping Center which is the most popular shopping center in Aguascalientes and there is walmart supermarket nearby. The hotel consist of a 2 story building with a pool in the back side of the building. The lobby is spacious and clean and has good service. Breakfast is american style breakfast wihich is above average with different varieties of dishes to choose from. I still prefer the Marriott Hotel breakfast which is more expensive, but excellent in quality, especially their ham is great!!! The rooms are of standard size and good for business traveler, but for a family of 3, the beds are a little small to share with a child. You should ask for a folding bed for your child, but you need to confirm this with the hotel at the time of making a reservation at this hotel. Overall rating is above average. I have stayed 3 times over the weekend as I drove my car from Zacatecas to Aguascalientes which is about 1hr. and 15 min. traveling around 120 kilometers per hour on the federal highway. I recommend this hotel for travelers.
This is a nice hotel for a business trip, as it has all you need (e.g. iron in the room, early breakfast, good internet connection). Additional facilities include an outdoor pool and a gym. The breakfast is very complete. The only negative point is that the rooms can be somewhat noisy, especially when the guest next-door uses the shower.
I've stayed twice and loved it both times. The staff was great, they always made us feel welcomed. The rooms are kept clean and tidy. The pool and surrounding grounds are kept up immaculately. I visit the city once a year and I will definitely stay here whenever I visit.
Friendly staff, easy check in/out, excellent buffet breakfast selection. Rooms were clean and spacious (was in a double bed). In good location of town with access to restaurants and mall across the street.
The location is good across from a nice mall. The overall presentation of the hotel was that of a holiday inn, though the service was below par. I stayed for two nights, the first night being okay. The second night I changed rooms from a double to a king (which i had requested for my first night, I checked in at noon and the kings were not yet ready which is understandable). Outside my room the second night there was something that sounded like a hotel airconditioner that was running, the vibrations from the machine was rattling something above my closet. I was unable to fall asleep. By 230 in the morning I dressed and went to the front desk to let them know about the noise. They said thank you, someone would be there shortly. After waiting 45 minutes, I fell asleep sometime after 3 with my clothes still on waiting for someone to come check on the racket. I woke at 530 the noise still going on. In the morning when i went for breakfast I passed the front desk and let the person behind the desk know about the experience, one of the managers behind the desk fumbled around in a drawer for a minute and pulled out a sheet of paper for me to ¨review¨the hotel. At breakfast i filled in the little round circles and made my complaint in the box in the bottom. Never an apology or a desire to see what was making the noise. Though the price was reasonable for the location and the room i doubt i would stay there again.
