My husband, my little son and I often use this hotel as it's located near the beach and has clean swimming pool. We always choose studio with kitchen as I need to do some quick snacking for my little boy. Even it's old but it's well maintained and offers comfort.

Was in mixed reviews before booking this hotel, we needed somewhere cheap for a quick few days away and this hotel ticked all boxes. Very close to beach and for a family of 6 it costs us under £200 for 8 days. Arriving at hotel, check in was straightforward. No lifts as I had read from prev posts. Yes rooms are very simple. NO TVS (Which for us was brilliant). We had access to hotel pool which was kept clean every day. Room 4401. Perfect room. The view was stunning every morning. We would have a group of seagulls flying around which the kids loved. Staff were exceptional. No complaints. They tended to our requests in everyway. Room were cleaned daily. If your looking for a clean and cheap place this is it. I would definitely return without hesitation. Thank you to all staff.

Staff are really friendly, chapik goes above and beyond for his job :) as do most of the staff. The hotel is full of stairs and not ideal for prams or older people. We was given a room at the very back which was freezing most of the time. Although the cleaner comes in every day I still had to go am buy things to clean out the bathroom as it was quite dirty. But over all not really a bad hotel the rooms are a decent size. Avoid booking trips with Lisa due to being ripped off. We paid for a jeep safari and was taken round in a mini bus taxi all day so ended up asking to be brought home half way threw due to kids being asleep and bored in the back :(. Crocoparc and massage with body scrub is well worth booking though. Hotel has a few cats which we fed all holiday :) they don’t bother you but they was so cute we couldn’t resist

•Too many steps not good for elderly, disabled and toddlers. •Room was always cold, we had to ask for extra blankets. •Never any toilet roll. •cleaners kept leaving us with small towels, and no big ones. •when we arrive the room wasn't clean, we had to go out and buy cleaning products. •the pool was so freezing that you couldn't get in it. •Had omelette and twice it wasn't cooked properly. Other then that the staff was polite and very friendly, and hotel is surrounded by every (shops/restaurants) and couple mins from beach.

This appartment hotel is close to the Ocean and in walking distant to the city. Daily fresh towels and very frindly cleaning ladies. The appartments are big so is the badroom. Wifi is only in the reception where you can meet others travellers.

The Tagadirt hotel is situated near the heart of outgoing Agadir, yet itself is a peaceful enclave, as it is enclosed from two mainstreats by walls and trees. It is built like a small village of apartments with simple kitchen. It is quite vintage, but that is why it is affordable. I like the art deco or neo-art deco furniture. It is not on the beach, which would make it much more expensive. But if you know the right passway you can be in the sea in just less than ten minutes. Staff is friendly. Most of the customers apparently are culture-tourists, people reading books or the Frankfurter Algemeine. No TV in the rooms, which is a blessing. Maybe less interesting for families as there are no facilities for children except a small swimming pool. But again the beach is nearby enough. And if children are interested to join in cultural trips through the region the hotel is perhaps suitable. The cleaning staff (ladies from the town) are the kindest in the world.

I had seen this hotel on several travel sites. Same room but at many different costs. I finally made a booking on travel republic as it was almost 100 quid cheaper than the other sites for the same room. Glad I did as I would have been really angry had we paid more. I advised in my booking that we would have our under 1 year old baby but we would bring our own cot. (Soooo glad we did as I don't even want to see the condition of what we would have been given) We were given a room at the way back of the hotel miles from the reception. Up and down tons of steps with a 2 flight walk up at the end. All this will a baby stroller? We got to our room exhausted and hot. Put the baby down to let him have a crawl and in 2 minutes he was black from the floor. He managed to find severed loose wires from the bedside table, which lead me to discover that the phone was also not working. The rooms had no tv's but this was clearly stated and there is only internet in the reception area. Again clearly stated on the websites. The cabinets were broken and dirty and had water damage. The toilet was broken and there was no paper provided. We had a fridge but needed to pull it out from the wall to plug it in. There was also a hotplate that had years of muck burned to it. The bathroom was dark and the way the tub is built you were guaranteed to get water all over the floor with a flood. This of coarse let you see how dirty the flor was when I went to mop it up with a towel. The bedding was clean and warm and there was a heater you could turn on that only worked during the night hours. The next day we went to the reception and asked for another room. I don't like to complain but I was not going to spend 8 days lugging my baby up and down steps. We were moved to another studio closer to the reception. The lady at reception seemed mortified as I told her all the things wrong , broken, or damaged in the room. The new room was quite the same but only up 1 flight of stairs and again closer to the reception and pool. Breakfast was bread and egg products. There was a really nice lady making the omelets and was very accommodating to make eggs for my son. She remembered my order in the morning and always served me with a smile. There was only one kind of meat product, one kind of cheese and NO fruit what so ever on the buffet. This was not the amazing delights I saw on the website showing the food they provide. The dinner buffet was also not what is shown on the website. I fear that was a photo from more than 20 years ago when the hotel might have had its hay-day. There were 2 highchairs made from metal that looked like they were from the 1930's and hadn't been cleaned in some time. 3 baby wipes later I felt it was ok to sit my son in it. If you wanted to pay for dinner it was 150 dh/ 15 Euros/ 12.50 pounds. This is a waste as my husband and I ate out fill at local establishments for 100dh - 150dh including tips a night (10-15 euros/ 8-12 quid) The staff were all lovely and friendly and tried to help as they could. The new room had a broken heater and it took them 2 days to fix this. In the mean time my baby caught cold and was sick for the rest of our stay. Once I got over the rustic it was a nice but EXTREMELY BASIC stay. Not worth the 25 quid a night I paid! I will add when we moved rooms I took one of the pillows as I have a bad back, I told the reception who was fine but the cleaning lady was chasing after us for the 1 extra towel and pillow we took till we told her we had advised reception. She grumbled and went away. The pool was lovely but please note that pools are NOT heated in these countries so water will be cold. But I always saw them cleaning it in the morning when we went for breakfast. This hotel is ok if you are expecting an old beach rental that's run down with basic food provided. If you plan to just sit by the pool and read a book this is great. The hotel is about a 10 minute walk from the beach as well. There were tv's in the lobby but it was nice to sit devoid of all the noise in the evenings. If all you need are the basics this would be great. If you have any difficulty with stairs there are NO lifts and you will not make it out of reception with 3 flights of marble stairs to get you to a middle level. This is not wheel chair accessible at all. There is a safe in the room but ours was moldy and couldn't actually get the door shut. There is a bank machine in the lobby and a bar in the lobby and at the pool.

Honestly - I booked even after seeing the reviews seen as though it was cheap and cheerful and also local. We was welcomed with open arms - lovely people. We were treated like family - the service we got was amazing. I didn't want to leave honestly. The rooms were very clean - we had room service everyday : fresh beddings, toilet roll towel etc. Activities were literally made so much easier booking via khadija who put our mind at ease. we met the best people - had so much fun honestly such a great holiday. The receptionists were so good to us, the manager loveliest man ever! so down to earth. The waiter mustapha always so happy and full of energy. The bar man always serving with a smile. They all went above and beyond to make sure we feel homely and at ease. I recommend this hotel to anyone whether its girls or lads holiday, couple holiday, family holiday or solo holiday this is the hotel for you. I loved it and definitely will be back. P.S. the showers are the best - Nice n warm.

Pros; Fantastic customer service from all members of staff - very friendly and eager to help The building is beautiful from the outside, the pool area is great and so is the lobby area If your a cat lover - we made 18 cat friends who are lovely and trained well, you would not believe they are strays, they usually hang around outside of the hotel We booked our excursions with the hotel guide, khadija, who gave us a good price and did not let us down Cons; The hotel is very basic and needs updating Cleanliness is not great - toilets rarely have any tissue or handwash and most toilets are heavily stained and smells awful Our room was horrible, very dark and dirty so the manager kindly moved us into an apartment - it was spacious but again the toilet was leaking, stained and smelt bad The water tasted nasty and felt even worse on your body - hard water We had ants in our sink The bedding was stained It was freezing cold in the rooms No fridge, no tv, no wifi, no hair dryer, no tea coffee, nothing... The hotel bar is very minimum The buffet breakfast was just a bit of bread, egg, tea and coffee, burnt overcooked crossiants - absolute waste of money - only had brekky the one day So many stair cases - very tiring I have rated this hotel 3 star mainly because the staff are brilliant and i guess you get what you pay for. The hotel was inexpensive and i knew it was a 3star when i booked it. I just hoped the cleanliness would have been better. They take good care of their reception, they just need to take care of the bedrooms and toilets. This hotel definately has potential, all it needs is some TLC.

I really enjoyed this hotel, the staff are polite and welcomed us with open arms, they help you with understanding life in Morocco! The hotel is filled with adorable cats, you will find a cat we called Joni, he looks identical to 3 other cats but he meows alot and shows alot of affection, please feed him when you see him :) I highley recommend this hotel and highley recommend you meet the manager called Chafik, if you can't find him he will most likely introduce himself lol he is the best manager we have had and he will do everything in his power to make you feel comfortable. I will definitely be returning here!
