I’ll update as the week goes on but I’ve been here 4 hours thus far. The weather certainly isn’t helping the positivity but that’s not Iberostar’s fault. On arrival there was no special greeting. Minimal information given about the hotel and a basic map was provided. The reception team soon tagged me with the all inclusive band which I was not entirely happy about. We were quickly given our key and then passed to the cash desk where we were asked to pay local taxes. It was 100 Dirham deposit for a towel. 30 dirham a day for a safe plus a further deposit fee. The safe isn’t even in your room! There is no concept of first come First served. Guests happily jump into your private conversation with reception staff who appear to not understand quite how rude this is. The room is nice enough and clean. The drinks are served in plastic beakers which although environmentally friendly, are rather unpleasant. Maybe it will be different away from the pool area.....

The resort is of very descent quality amenities. It is very well decorated throughout and has modern still traditional Moroccan feeling. The rooms are well presented and clean. Only that the air conditioning was little funny and had couple of uncomfortably hot nights. The reception staff said it is only meant to keep room warm in cold nights!!! However, it wasn't an issue after couple of days though. It has only couple of pools for adults and one one of them was heated. Only that the heated pool is 1.7 meter deep throughout. It would have been better to have some shallow depth to allow kids to play around alone. Small kids had no issues with floats though. I would have preferred bigger pool to be heated instead of this smaller one. We are vegetarian family. The Antares Restaurant(booking only) seem to be well regarded among non-vegetarian customers. However, we discovered that there was no vegetarian dishes on the menu and we ended up cancelling our booking. I would have preferred to have some authentic Moroccan vegetarian dishes in the restaurant. Having said that, the main restaurant served few choices for vegetarians. They serve Pizzas daily and was blessing for my kids. We also loved vegetarian Tagine options. Plenty of greens and choice of bread/cheese . The staff at bars across the resort served wonderful choice of drinks. We loved Moroccan tea and didn't miss it everyday. The entertainment team is the life of the resort. Always active, happy, engaging and very busy throughout the day. Everyday, we went to evening entertainment and it was well worth it. I wouldn't miss Acrobats and Moroccan night for anything. The dance team seem to come up with amazing routine on daily basis and even after being seen around the resort throughout the day. Amazing bunch of guys and girls with relentless energy and professionalism. It is a lovely little place to relax around sun, sand and sea. However, I felt the resort of this capacity should have more pool and entertainment space.

My husband booked this hotel after some extensive research. We wanted a week in the sun together as a birthday treat. My husband e-mailed Iberostar before travelling advising it was a special birthday. On arrival at the hotel again he reiterated the reason we were there and asked to organise a cake etc. He was assured that the hotel were " very attentive" and the chef would attend to his request. We witnessed another guest recieving a birthday cake and the waiters singing happy birthday previous to my special day. My birthday cake and went, the only acknowledgement was in the form of a pre printed sheet left by the maid. No cake or congratulations. I can live with not being wished Happy Birthday but what I can't live with is bar staff making my husband feel uncomfortable ! On our last evening we were being served at the bar when two waiters were obviously making a joke at my husband's expense, they were speaking in Arabic and laughing, my husband asked them what was said ? But they did not elaborate and said " just said a joke " one of them tried to appease the situation by trying to top up his drink with more alcohol, the other looked sheepish and walked away. Yes we are English but what we are not is stupid, this made a very uncomfortable situation and is totally unprofessional. Last complaint was the dining room, I was waiting for a fresh fish of scrambled eggs, I asked and the chef pointed at another member of staff. I asked repeatedly for my breakfast, I was offered omelette, fried egg and sent from station to station. After ten minutes and everything else on my plate becoming cold I got the dining room manager who wanted to shake hands and be my friend. NO just get the eggs I asked for !!!!!! Maybe this is not a good review for people who are staying in the coming months so on a positive note clean hotel (think it is more 3* just my personal opinion ) beautiful grounds plentiful sunbeds. Good standard of food just a bit repetitive but plenty of it. With a bit more staff training and organisation it could much improve.

As a family, we decided on one last family holiday with a 22 year old and 23 year Old it was a prefect destination for sun bathing, we loved the all inclusive as this meant we could have a mojito at 10am! I could put faults on here... but .. why? As I felt we all had a good time and we should not need to nick pick.

Really enjoyed our stay here. Hotel was exceptionally clean throughout including the rooms as you expect and the grounds etc. All inclusive had plenty of varied options. Outdoor heated pool and located right on the beach. Activities laid on for kids and evening entertainment was fun. I would stay here again. Customer service was up there too!
