Two weeks ago I mad reservation in (hotel.com )for 4 days in Caribbean village agador an today when I came to reception the guy from reception checked my full name an he said that there is not an he was lying after it I showed him my confirmation of reservation 8153245259344 an he was confused anyway .. after it he called (lhcen) chef animation or chef of gardens I don't know... They begin speaking about my name for while after it he said that he is director of hotel an he doesn't won't you here in hotel !!! How is possible?? For what and why?? I'm customer an I bring with me lady from Russia she has one week also how is possible director of hotel could talk like that ? That's show how this person is less education and poor experience . He is poor because first time he started work in that hotel he was just an DJ after it chef animation an may be chef of gardens an last year director that's mean this person never learn about management how is it I'm very sorry to write about him but I never had this situation in my life. The hotel it's very poor service an horrible foods an old style rooms... but despite that I tried come an bring with me other people just because we knew some of personals are kind an we came special for them
This was our 3rd time there and what a great disappointment it was . First our rooms we booked via gems holiday and confirmed by them was not available and it took over 2 hours to get it sorted to some kind of sense . The reception staff did not want to know . I wrote a email to the holiday company on the first night and never had a reply. The restaurant was poor and the staff handling food without changing their gloves. But the real crowning glory was a bug in one of our parties lunch on the 27th July @ 13.18 pm . We showed the waiter who said these things happen and tried to take it away before we could video it. The hotel manager did not want to know . Gem holiday have dragged their heels over this and have not done anything to help. Their directors will not talk to me and Beryl Robbins from the holiday company is of no help . If you need to see the video just email me George.email@example.com
Here goes....stayed here in Nov2017. All inclusive, food was terrible! Alcohol was shocking! Rooms were outdated, shower got blocked! Towels were never changed unless asked. Plus side staff were friendly.
It is set out like a real village, buildings all painted white and the resort is built at different levels but nothing extremely high. Few pools in different places amongst the village. Lots of games to play and an easy walk to the beach. The meals are good, But not if you are a very fussy eater ! We enjoyed them all, especially the omelets for breakfast - - delicious ! ! The restaurant staff are very friendly and you can get the option to eat at their "posh" restaurant, but we only went once, which was very good. There is also a snack bar next to the restaurant , which is good for a change .The rooms are very basic, but clean, which is all that mattered, as you spend most of the time you are outside. The entertainment at night is basic, but the staff are great.
Visited at end of October, the hotel consists of over 20 different blocks with rooms over three or four floors and apart from the main block near reception there are no lifts. There are also steps everywhere so beware if you have mobility problems. The rooms are very basic and as far as I could ascertain most do not have any air conditioning. If you want a fridge in your room it will cost extra. However the room was kept clean and we received fresh towels everyday. The food did get repetitive but we always managed to find something to eat although we steered clear of meat dishes. The reception area was a bit of a trek from the block we were in as was the main restaurant and the Wi-fi was very slow at most times we tried using it. Overall the hotel just about met our needs and of course the weather was wonderful, even for this time of year it was around 30 degrees nearly everyday.
Stayed at the caribbean village on 29th October for a week as a bookinh of 3 families, 18 people in total one who needed disabled access. We where welcomed by the receptionist who was very nice and checked us in quickly and sent us to our rooms with someone to carry our bags. We arrived in the early hours of the morning so we went to the oasis restaurant in the resort for breakfast which is definitely worth waking up for, fresh omelettes, boiled eggs and much more. During the day the restaurant offers a variety of food for those who are even the fussiest of eaters. Drinks are available all day till 11pm. Rooms are cleaned daily with towels and essentials replaced. Getting in and out the resort isn't the best for wheelchair users however the resort does have access all around. The animation team do a fantastic job of keeping a lively atmosphere for its guests and the evening shows were very entertaining. The souk el had is a 5 minute taxi away, don't give more than 20DH. The souk is full of different stalls also some cafes to take a break at. There is also some local shisha cafes I would recommend catanzaro which is a 2 minute walk away from the resort. Our stay at caribbean village was fantastic and we would highly recommend the resort.
rooms are clean and grounds are lovely . not good for people with waling difficulty's as got loads of steps and quit hilly ..staff friendly . food poor . I have been in a few hotels in Agadir and the food was top quality . this certainly isn't .. but saying this . there is always something to eat ..lunch time is the best food or was when I was there in October 17th 2017 ... but it is cheap to eat out so we did a few times .. .
We stayed here for 6 days in October. The room was lovely and they receptionist was happy to change our original room as the balcony was in the shade. Our new room 2316 had the sun from 10pm to sunset which was perfect for us. It also had a great view of the Agadir Hill which was lovely. I thought the food was great, lots of variety, and on the first day we had Roast Lamb which was a real treat. The staff were also very lovely, especially the staff in the dining hall. The head chef helped us when my daughter was sick, and the rest of the staff were always welcoming and kind to us. My only complaint would be that the shops inside the hotel had ridiculous mark-ups, and felt all to be a rip off. We had bought anklets for 10dh in Marrakech. In the hotel they were 150dh, exactly the same ones. And some of the Animation crew were just too forceful. One named Rastaman really upset me one day when I was doing their Agadir dance by the pool and he was pulling my hair around behind me. I broke my neck 2 years ago, and its still painful. When i approached him to say how much he had upset me he just laughed in my face. He was the only one who i thought was rude. All the others were lovely. Even so I would still return as I felt that this is a great value for money hotel. Thankyou for looking after us.
I have been to the Agador since 2001, i have always found all the staff friendly, polite and helpful. The animation team friendly, funny and talented. The rooms are modest but comfortable we have always have a goodnight sleep. The restaurant has a wide verity of good food you will not go hungry. The main thing to remember is to go with an open mind , i will not lie and say that it is perfect, as it is not, nor is it a 5* ,some people just like to complain about things rather than saying what a great time they had after there little moan, this hotel is huge with all the sport facilitates and 5 pools plenty to do or find a Quite spot to read and rest
Visited Morocco second time and stayed in the same resort was very pleasant experience again. The place has got the right atmosphere, very friendly staff and the only areas of improvement are WIFI coverage and some minor decorative works. Food in the main restaurant is of a good selection and very tasty.
