They cater for young children...have 5 or 6 pools for different age groups...The village has a few hotels dotted around it so you can book whichever suits your needs. Clean and tidy place. Helpful staff, Beach is not too far so you can always go for a stroll. Will look at revisiting it soon.
we went as a family of 5 and it was amazing best holiday ever we loved it id 100% go back they can not do enough for you its nice and clean staff are brill tip the bar staff and they will bring your drinks all day
We’ve been here 5 times now and if your looking for good food and friendly staff this is your place. The decor and appearance is a little shabby but each time we go little improvements are being made this time better TVs and air conditioning is being fitted. It’s a three star and you pay for this in the price of but the staff are 5 star. We had to move hotel on the day we had to leave due to flight being cancelled at last minute. They accommodated us till everything was sorted. We moved to a 4.5 star hotel just down the road for 1 day/night as the only flight home was Saturday. The food was disgusting was unable to eat anything in a 4.5 star hotel. Caribbean village caters for all people with lots of variety to choose from. Breakfast is mainly continental but they make amazing omelettes and fresh pancakes every morning. Lunch is usually the best meal with a roast of some kind and tagine as well as spag Bol and chips etc. Some of the evening meals leave a bit to be desired but still always something to eat. Snack bar is amazing and so is the pizza restaurant that you have to book in for and both are part of the all inclusive. The cleaners and groundskeepers do an amazing job and we will be returning at the end of the year as per usual. We would never stay anywhere else after being in 2 4.5 star hotels and although the hotels are beautiful the food was crap in both.
I honestly don’t understand some of the reviews on here. We’ve just had a 3 night break and enjoyed every second of it. We paid £160 for flights and accommodation which was a massive bargain. The hotel is old and a bit jaded, rooms are basic but clean and the staff are all lovely and can’t do enough for you. There’s entertainment on all day till midnight if you’re into that, but the team don’t pester you at all. The location is great, 2 mins from the beach and 5 from the marina. The beach is massive and clean and you’re not plagued by hawkers. Food is decent. If you’re after a full English and Sunday roast you’re not going to get it, but none of us went hungry. Omelettes and fresh pancakes in the morning, massive salads at lunch and you can eat in the themed restaurants or buffet at night. We went to the Moroccan theme place and were all impressed. 5 star luxury it isn’t, but then you don’t pay a 5 star price!
Hello everybody ! I have no words to desribe that smelly and disguisting place full of incompetent and rude staff.I spent there 10 days with my husband in September 2018. The worst holiday I have ever had in my life !!!! Food was rank and repetitive.Basically just the cheapest s.... you could get from your local shop. Drinks served in plastic cups!! So disgraceful .I know I know you got what you paid for but this hotel is not extremely cheap.Rooms were old and I had to beg the staff for the remote control for air conditioning.(inhumane treatment) and it was written in holiday description that air condition is included.Such a lie !!!.Please keep away from this place and add some more money and book decent hotel. I would never do this mistake again. My impression was horrible and I wasted my money.Old and dirty hotel
I know people on here moan about unnecessary things, however this hotel is worth warming people about. It’s not even a case of ‘you get what you pay for’ because it wasn’t extremely cheap - which is what you got when you stay here. Extremely cheap. Rooms are old. Everything worn out. Pools, buildings the lot. But the WORST of all was the restaurant. Absolutely diabolical, I can’t even describe how poor the restaurant is. It’s pure disgusting food served. Not even any of the ‘English rubbish’ you normally get at cheap nasty all inclusive. Don’t bother, that’s all I say.
This hotel location is great. The bedrooms are really s***. Food is the same always but you expect that from all inclusive. Great beach walking distance. Shops resturants all walking distance. Peacocks roaming around. Small cats everywhere outside.
I was very disappointed with the service from the receptionist, getting there they took their time to attend to us and getting to our room. I was unimpressed with the layout of the room!! The balcony was filthy and the wood was cracked... WiFi connection was HORRENDOUS!! They definitely need to invest on internet connection ASAP... Food was manageable but the same menu they have everyday. The chef at the restaurant are nice and friendly and always willing to help. All the caretakers are nice and friendly. They use dirty plastic cup for drinks and they sometimes make people tea and coffee with the same similar cup. Entertaining was ok!!
I spent one night with my wife here when i came to visit her. The hotel is massive and it is broken down into lots of small buildings with the hotel suites, sort of like a villa type of thing, reqlly cool layout. The staff there were nice, the sheisha and food was good to. I had a nice stay
firstly i'd like to say, before you travel make sure you pack a pen and learn your occupation in french. the moroccan passport is a nightmare. Arrived at the hotel quite late, first impressions were quite good. Put our bags in the room, rooms are of good size, 4 beds for the 2 of us, nice little table and chairs in the living area, balcony. We headed down to the lobby bar and quickly smashed down 2 or 3 beers each and i must say we were pleasantly surprised by the strength. (voltage) Next morning we headed down for breakfast and we had heard a lot about the omelettes and they didn't disappoint. Spent the first day exploring and working out the best spots for drinking etc. Decided to have lunch in the pizzaire and we had cheese burgers or camel burgers as we joked, very nice, we went there everyday after, As for evening meals there are 5 restaurants you can book into and they are all ok. Over all i would recommend the caribbean village for a good cheap value for money getaway. especially in late february early march like we did. finally i would like to mention the seagulls, lovely to sit and watch, especially at sunset.
