Although the courtyard and poolside are amazing the hotel room is extremely dated, room service was next to none. Upon arrival there was no toiletries I.e soap, shower gel. There was three of us to a triple room and we was only provided with one towel. I requested for 2 more towels over 2 days and they still never gave us towels. There was no room service for 2 days, I called reception and they advised someone will come to clean the room. On the third day I made a complaint regarding no towels and no room service, that is when the manager came and the towels turned up. This should really not be the case, standard service with every hotel could not even be fulfilled here. Breakfast options were poor. Only gave 2 stars because of the swimming pool. Disappointed with my stay.

The pool area at this hotel was lovely. The pool attendant was really super, making sure everyone had sunbeds, umbrellas and little side tables, and the whole area was clean, well look after and welcoming. We had three rooms all of which were very spacious. Unfortunately the main road was really noisy all through the night with people holding their car horns down as they drove along - I think it was some sort of game or competition?! The air conditioning in my son's room was broken, and despite asking for it to be fixed every day (our stay was four nights) it never was.

Nice breakfast, beautiful hotel and close to beach and other places. Everything was good and nice ,until a medicial event happend to a family member and the staff didn't help and just watched suffered.. just sayingg

10 great days at this family orientated hotel.staff so helpful especially Assam Mohammed and Said from the restaurant who made our mealtimes enjoyable and done their upmost to make sure we had everything we needed.Must say the food was excellent with a good choice every evening. The poolman was so good making sure we had sunloungers parasols and towels. Everyone is genuinely happy to help and didn't see any unhappy parents just plenty of laughter from very happy children.Walked up to the beachfront and it was very busy with Moroccan people on holiday all very friendly and welcoming kids playing (none on I pads,) just enjoying themselves.

I have been reading through the reviews of this hotel and I am surprised by the number of negative comments. Admittedly we are not talking 5 star luxury here, but we had a very comfortable stay and were given a lovely room with plenty of space and good views. Being critical, the housekeeping left room for improvement, wifi was only available in the public spaces, my wife found the pillows lumpy and uncomfortable and the TV reception was poor and offered little outside of Arabic channels. Also, it was disappointing not to be offered fresh fruit for breakfast in a country where it is plentiful. These negatives were outweighed, however, by the pleasant room, the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff and the brilliant location. If you are after a 5-star hotel experience this is not the hotel for you, but if you are seeking comfortable and pleasant accommodation at a very reasonable price I would recommend the Hotel Mogodor Al Medina.

I had a reasonable welcome at reception and the staff were fairly friendly, location is fine, room was ok and as anticipated. But the worse things was my room facing the noise from over the road or next door (or both) until 4am. I was due to stay again a week after but cancelled, nothing about the place encouraged me to want to return

We spent a week at this hotel, and don't think it could have been any better! The staff we met throughout our week here were the nicest and due to having a baby with us, we had problems however staff were extremely helpful. People working there were very cooperative and well mannered, as we entered they offered to take our bags for us. At the start, we were allocated to the wrong rooms however they quickly resolved this problem for us. They also sorted out our daily tours around the city; due to there being 16 of us, it was hard to find something to do each day but the manager especially was extremely helpful and overall we would recommend this hotel to anyone travelling, whether it be alone, with family or just as a couple. This was definitely the nicest hotel with the most cooperative staff!!

We spent a week here. The hotel is fairly large, we got a huge suite and I am not sure but I think that they might have upgraded my order for free - I ordered a room for 3 but got a suite consisting of two rooms. We didn't need that much space but it was fine because we weren't charged for that in addition. (Or maybe all of their rooms are like that, I don't know.) What I liked and what I chose this hotel for in the first place was it's architecture - the foyer is gorgeous, the furniture in the room is authentic-ish, the pool area is simply splendid with all the greenery and palms and a view to the mountain. (But the pool is not heated, we went swimming one day but the water was ice-cold although the day was hot - it was winter after all.) The hotel is clean, the room was cleaned everyday, the breakfast was good although there was not much variety. But to be fair, although the food was the same every morning (boiled eggs, scrambled eggs, fried potatoes, sausages, bread, several types of pastries, yogurt, jam, some vegetables, cereal, coffee, tea, etc.) there was still quite a decent number of options and we ate good. The staff is very accommodating and helpful; we don't speak French of Arabic (the main languages of Morocco) but we had no problem communicating with them in English. What the hotel was lacking, in my opinion, was some sprucing up - the bathroom was in need of a makeover although the plumbing itself worked fine, you just had to wait for hot water to come for a bit. The hairdryer in our room didn't work but I got another one at the reception without any problem. And it also seemed to me that although breakfast time was 6-10 a.m., the restaurant was not quite ready to service people very early in the morning: we came to breakfast at 6.15 one morning and we had to hunt for utensils and tea and not all food was prepared at that time. And one of the biggest cons for us was the fact that the door of the room was thin and we would wake up early in the morning if people were chatting loudly in the corridor. All in all, the stay was quite pleasant, the hotel could improve some aspects but it's very good in general.

Was sent here for one night by the airline after our plane was unable to fly. To be fair to the hotel it can't be easy to feed and accommodate a plane load of passengers at such short notice. The hotel is one of the older properties slightly back from the beach at the marina end. Nice architecture but the decoration and furnishing were a little old and tired, both in the rooms and communal areas. Food was ok, although getting a coke to go with it proved more challenging (note that it's also an alcohol free hotel). No WiFi except in the lobby, and even then rather slow and patchy. Overall not terrible, but even on a budget Agadir has better options, so I'm in no hurry to return.

Location was great. Some of the staff at breakfast were lovely as was the pool attendant. Unfortunately the reception staff were unhelpful and inconsiderate. Our first room didn't have a functioning air con unit or fridge. We were advised to persevere for the night and our room will be changed in the morning. After I insisted, our room was reluctantly changed with a working air con unit but the fridge still didn't work and neither did the hair dryer. The breakfast was bland and there was no toaster. They never seemed to have hot water for tea. If they just sorted out their customer service standards, cleaned the rooms, put a toaster for breakfast and ensured everything was working in the room, then this has the making of a great hotel.
