Good welcome and friendly staff. Not many other residents staying at the time we visited in November 17 so very quiet except when morocco played the ivory coast and they had it on big screen in the bar. The apartment was spacious but not cleaned well at all. The most we got was a made bed and clean towels. Ants in the kitchen despite requesting ant powder. First time in a self catering apartment so not sure what to expect cleaning wise. Would have thought they would have cleaned the bathroom and swept and washed floors and terrace daily at least. We would re visit but on hindsight be more questioning on the cleaning front. Pool area looked nice but didn't use it and the restaurant was closed while we were there. The lifts also take forever to arrive and even longer to get going. Frustrating when staying on the top floor. Parking could be a bit difficult due to the amount of locals visiting the bar in the hotel. Overall not a bad experience, you get what you pay for.
arrived looked lovely reception area very good accommodation good but the pool area very poor pool needs updating NO POOL BAR to get a drink couldn't get anything to eat or drink on site after breakfast which was poor scrambled egg every day trrible smell of sewage wouldn't go back here if they paid me to
I would stay here again but just a little located away from everything the rooms are lovely and the pool is good the staff are so lovely great atmosphere around the place which is always good when on Holiday!
Stayed here for New Years in 2013' at that time it was being built up lots of construction sites around, but was a nice area at the time. I would go back great value for money and staff where friendly. A lot of travelers from France, I guess because of the language barrier. Food in the super market close is amazing and the drinks are cheap and always cold which is nice. Rooms where big and spacious with great air-con, the studios and apartments also have kitchenettes. I did not like the pool area but beach was a close walk and I don't like pools too much either way.
good hotel been here twice (2010 and 2015) good distance from souk al ahad about 0.5 miles(market) and beach is about 0.3miles good . top tip dont get a taxi right from the airport walk about 100-2--meters and a taxi driver will come and give you a better price but still try haggling them down
I have stayed here 2 times ,could not ask for nicer place to stay, staff lovley ,clean and very iffeciant, the swimming pool lovley and Khalil the lifeguard is the nicest man u could meet , going back in DEC again can't wait.
Nice place to stay a little basic but clean, food was nice,a walk to agidar beach only a short distance away lovely walk and a look in some of the shops on the way,Mohammed the restaurant manager was very nice and always had time for crack with us.Downfalls was there wasn't much to do,had to get a taxi everywhere u could walk but it was a little bit far to the shops and bars, weather was warm during the day but at evening time when temperatures dropped u would need some winter clothes with u,but weather was great for dec/jan during the day..a trip to Marrakech to the markets well worth a look they do day trips but some taxi men to it cheaper and they organised a mini bus for the 4 of us that was going he was great the taxi man he took us to all the wee tourist hot spots on the journey..my over all opinion of the place and holiday would be its a place to stay if u wer jus going to relax and enjoy the sunshine at that time of year, summer months might be different but as regards activities and some lively places to go to its was a no go place if u wer looking for life....
Been here two nights and must say its a lovely hotel (self catering), it depends what you want really, we only use the hotel as a base. Staff are friendly, pool area ok (but not available at mo due to repairs), view is ok (minus building sites), beach is about 15/20 min walk, rooms are well furnished and well decorated. Morocco is a little gem and I hope it doesn't go down the party place road.
I will be honest here there are not many places that get a bad review of me this place will receptionist was nice easy to talk to bit hard sometimes language barrier had ants in my room bitting me gave me spray to kill them myself food was not so bad and dinning room staff ok pool guy bit full of himself ignored the visitors takes to the locals that live there worse when I got out of the pool only two ladders at the end shallow side non hard for me to get out shallow end of the pool was about 7 feet deep after getting out I walked to a warm spot but slipped damaged my left check of my bum life guard paid no attention never asked was I ok or never asked did I need first aid my bum was black all over the people at the pool from Ireland checked on me quicker than the life guard the pool was broken no heat in it felt like we were intruding in there home felt awkward this is why I won't go back there more happened in that week but I leave it at this
I stayed at the Intouriste for one week in February. Its a little bit out of the main city area but is much quieter area away from the tourist hub if that is what you prefer. This part of Agadir is, however, only part built so there are lots of part finished buildings and bare ground areas near and around the hotel. Although the empty spaces are pretty barren its nice to have some space between buildings unlike in the city centre and along the beach. I stayed in one of the studios. It was spacious, clean, well equipped and serviced every day. Everything worked with a good supply of hot water in the bathroom. Reception staff were helpful and friendly. There is a post office and banks nearby and a mini market (doesn't sell much). There is also a bakery/patisserie, snack bar and cafe within a 5 minutes walk but otherwise there is not a mass of facilities in this area at present. The Marjane supermarket which stocks about every thing takes about 20 minutes to walk or get a taxi.
