Location is spot on. Motel itself is nearly uninhabitable, yet I was was charged $200 a night. Used condom found under the bed, smell of sewage in the halls at certain times of day. I had to wear thongs in the shower out of fear. There was used tissues stuffed into the box aircon on the wall. Room hasnt been cleaned properly in years. Pretty traumatic stay here which has changed my view on booking older accommodation from now on. I dont like doing bad reviews but people dont deserve to pay $200 a night for this.

Stayed for a week, requested a room at back of property and top floor. Was very quiet except for Saturday night when room next door partied all night in hallway as well. Property is run down but comfortable especially the bed. Can't beat the location for sight seeing and access to transport.

Right in the heart of the CB! So handy to everything. Bit noisy on the weekend ( especially when previous tenant left window open) when you have a front room. The lift had a rather different odour but apart from that everything was fine

For us, it was the perfect location, 2 min walk to Rundle Mall, near the oval, the riverbank, the restaurants, the casino. The hotel is ok, the rooms are bit old looking, specially the bathrooms but for the price they offer it is a good place to stay. Would come back again.

Location was perfect for my requirements and I was able to complete my business without difficulty.Very happy with accomodation and staff attention. Will book again in a few weeks when I have another appointment in Adelaide.

Had a marvellous stay for 9 nights at the Adelaide Paringa Hotel. We stayed on the 4th Floor and had a great sleep every night (no noise from Hindley Street, the entertainment precinct) although it was very warm. We had air conditioning and a very spacious room. We've stayed 10 times before and find the hotel location and staff excellent. It also appeals to the budget conscious traveller.

Unpretentious budget hotel in the heart of Adelaide and within walking distance of most of the main attractions. Although the reception is only manned 12 hours a day, there are facilities (including washing machines) across the road. Good value for this central location

This is budget living 101. It just about did the job us. I probably wouldn’t recommend the getting in the spa though. A little loud as the street gets busy at nights, bed was comfortable enough Fine for those on a tight budget.

Recently stayed there for Adelaide test match.- was the only accomodation that we could find at a reasonable price and within walking distance of the oval when we were able to definitely get away to visit. Room was clean and adequate - considering we only needed somewhere to sleep and the cricket did not finish until at least 9.30 - 10.00 each night. Building was old and needing a facelift, other guests we met who were also there for the cricket proved to be good company to have an evening catch up at one of many bars in Hindley Street. Also close to the major shopping area (Rundle Mall) and busses if you did not want to walk to ground. In summary was adequate for what we needed, would probably be happy to stay for same event again, but maybe would look elsewhere if in Adelaide at a different time of the year.

Stayed at the Paringa for three nights on a work trip, and as the cricket was in town plus school games prices were higher than normal, which is a pet hate of mine when hotels do this. The check-in/out was all good with very good service, the rooms were great (nice and spacious) with plenty of room to spread out, however the running water in the shower took forever to get right, too hot then too cold. Older style bathroom needs some work. Noisy location and could hear everything on the street all night hence not a good nights sleep was had. Location was nice and central, but the hallways look like something out of a hostel, certainly needs a paint and freshen up.
