Upon arrival, the front office staff was very polite, welcoming and friendly. I was given a room diagonally opposite the lift. But it was quiet throughout my stay; you'd hardly know that the lift was right outside. The bedroom was of a great size for myself; it'll be big enough for a couple. Bathroom was clean and well appointed. Internet was free and fast ! I ordered room service for dinner (from the hotel's restaurant) and it was delicious. Great selection for breakfast too. Rundle Mall is literally two minutes walk away and restaurants are literally around the corner. A very convenient location indeed ! This hotel will definitely be my hotel of choice the next time I am in Adelaide.
excellent staff even the cleaners great staff very polite helpfull great rooms clean spacious one of the best great greetings great cleaners very quick nothing a problem will stay there again great food and room service
The hotel is at a very convenient location and is within walking distance from the tram service, shopping district and eateries. We stayed in the Majestic Suit and it was equipped with a kitchen and equipment for simple cooking and also heating of food. The roof top garden is a little disappointing during the night but is a lovely place to visit to view the sunrise.
Traveling to Adelaide for business and arriving late to find I could not check into the hotel I'd booked I had to find an alternate option at 1am Sunday morning. The staff were professional even with a function leaving at the same time as I wandered in. Great location just off Rundle Street. Deciding to give them my business for the rest of the trip, The staff were able to shuffle bookings so i did not have to even change rooms. Thank you very much.
lovely hotel!! all the staff were very friendly, front desk, kitchen staff, cleaners the only small improvements i could recommend are the door in the bathroom was very difficult to lock and unlock (room 104) and when the front desk staff were trying to work stuff out on the computer they didn't communicate that the computer was playing up or something just left us standing in front of them feeling a little awkward. other than that they were very welcoming, friendly and explained everything about our room and stay well.
My wife and I decided to avail a stay with you and are so glad that we did. Our stay was absolutely faultless from the friendly staff to the cleanliness of the room and location to eateries in the general CBD brilliant. The room faced the east thus being a beautiful sunrise into our room. Will definitely stay with you again. Lovely and quiet stay.
Stayed here twice, bookending a week in the Simpson Desert. I had a Superior room on the sixth floor. The room was spacious and clean. The bathroom ditto. The room had two small windows, so it did feel cell-like, with very little natural light and no accessible view/outlook but as I was only there overnight, it wasn't a big deal. Sleep quality good. Free unlimited wifi. The only power point I could find was in the bathroom, next to the basin. With several devices to charge, a jug to boil etc, it was a nuisance to have only one accessible power point and that next to water. I had room service dinner and breakfast. Dinner was ok, but the breakfast wrap was pretty poor. A stodgy mush of unmelted grated cheese, too much chutney, egg, bacon and very bready. How about just a simple but well executed bacon and egg roll on good quality bread? Both times service was prompt and pleasant. Location is good, more to the east end of the main shopping district which is the more funky end from what I could see. Lots of restaurants in easy walking distance.Central Market is a twenty minute walk. Rundle Mall, 5. Staff were pleasant if detached, as seems to be the way with most hotels (what is 'hospitality' anyway?) .Check in and out was smooth and they happily stored luggage for the week between visits. My bag was waiting for me in my room on my return, which was much appreciated - having not had a shower for a week, I appreciated not waiting for clean clothes to show up. They lent me an umbrella for the day, after I'd checked out. This was my second and third stay and I would consider here again if overnighting.I appreciated the 24 hr room service options. There is also a well regarded restaurant within the hotel, so if you're not wanting to have to go out, the hotel offers a one stop shop, which is why I chose it. For a longer stay, I may consider an apartment with some cooking facilities and take advantage of the great fresh food on offer at the Central Market.
I'm a return customer and always have a nice stay here. The location is great and the rates are reasonable. Suggestion: it would be great if you could put at least one vegan option on the menu. There are some awesome vegan restaurants just on the street behind, but they're sometimes shut when I fly in late at night.
This is the first hotel room I've stayed where it was extraordinarily difficult to access an AC outlet located next to the room desk, as the AC outlet was behind both a sheer and heavy curtain behind the desk, which necessitated the lifting of both curtains to plug a power strip for my computer and other electronic devices. Most hotel rooms have installed a convenient outlet either onto the desk lamp or the desk itself for this purpose, and recommend that this hotel do the same.
Great service, beautiful views and outstanding rooms. If I was to have one minor thing, it would be, maybe needing a bit more lighting in the bathroom. It was an amazing place to stay and would highly recommend to others.
