Down comforter is listed as a room amenity. There was only an empty duvet and bedsheet. Asked the front desk multiple times about the down comforter and was told there is a spare fleece blanket in the closet. Housekeeping finally put a comforter in the duvet but instead of a down comforter housekeeping put a synthetic filled comforter in the duvet. Inconvenient location. Spotty wi-fi. Housekeeping didn't clean the glass cup and bathtub. Crappy water pressure with the ecosaver showerhead. Noisy hallway. Construction across from one of the buildings of the hotel. I asked to switch rooms during check-in and was denied a room change. The following morning construction began early and woke me up. Was finally given a room change but new room was next to the lobby and the television from the lobby bar was loud.

Good hotel general..food ok Pool good. Ocean right there

Nice hotel, good food, for people that is looking for tranquility is a good choice.

Met all my expectations, location, cleanliness, service and standards

Located at Pichilingue with private beach and 3 nice pools.

Hidden at the bottom of Pichilingue lays this confortable hotel with private beach and great pools.

Room cleanliness and confort perfectly as weel as pool areas. Staff attention not so good, but food well also. I love that hotel!

Location and view were spectacular. However, had a few problems: + Hotel didn't allow you to bring in outside food and beverage and then gouged on prices. I did not take well to paying $4 for a small cup of coffee + We went mid-week and hotel was understaffed + Missing a good restaurant or bar

Very pleasant, will go back. the staff was very nice and friendly. Good food at the restaurants.

We have stayed at this hotel before and had just as nice an experience. The view is quite spectacular and the ambience is very calming.. The lower level swimming pool (below the waterfall) is really special...

We enjoyed little beach, very safe for kids. Happy hour was good (mexican beers and tequilas); kids free at breakfast was a good deal! Hotel location is far from downtown Acapulco and Diamante and very prived, 2kms driven from principal way. many stairs, so watch kids and ederly persons. Hotel prohibited you came with your own meal or groceries, even drinks. Parking is 6 dollar everyday! Should be included. Overall good place.

I suggest to make refurbushments to the entire building, try to change the furniture and set up a bar aside of the lobby BUT specially to renew the lobby because is the first impresion for the guest... the rest come by itself! The best and wondefull thing there is they have a PRIVATE BEACH :) and is not crowded very peacefull... That I loved

We stayed for a two night stay ending our our first stay in Acapulco. Having only two nights here we didn't want to leave the hotel. On the beach there are jet skis ,kayaksand banana boats to rent. The first week we stayed at our timeshare we always know what to expect, very nice! But I needed to find a place to meet up with our flight. So read the reviews on "The Camino Real Diamante".We arrived a bit early and they checked us right in, the room was lovely but a large palm blocked our view.I requested a different room. They put us right into another room with a fabulous view! Comfy beds and friendly staff. Very accomodating! The food is a very pleasant experience, from the pool bar,the main level and the Medditerrainean resturant( fabulous dinner)! The drinks are very tasty and fairly priced. We will suggest to our friends and family. We will go back again. From the food to the rooms to the staff . Just one thing to keep in mind the hotel next door has a party dock that plays some loud music Saturday night. But otherwise.

Check in was smooth and pleasant. Room comfortable with extended LR area and balcony with sea view. Air conditioning was noisy and water just lukewarm for most of the stay (ok it was so hot outside we did not feel it to be a bother). Pools and beach very pleasant, quiet bay was very nice to swim in for my 8 year old son. Poolside service was very good. Restaurant Las Velas was just okay, very slow service. If you are looking to be away from the crowded Acapulco Bay/downtown scene this is the place for you. However you will need a car/taxi to get anywhere.

Rest and enjoy the view, the sun, the food, it was a very pleasant staying, the surroundings had the rest to to enjoy the nightlife it was a fantastic vacation

Hotel was beautiful and clean great price, however it is very far from entertainment district and tourist attractions. Great for restind and taking the family.. Food and drinks and mini bar extremly over priced. Restaurants in hotel a bit pricy for available choices.

We chose this hotel for a quiet, two-day respite at the end of our cruise. The hotels grounds itself were very peaceful and relaxing although there was major construction taking place (only minor noise at this point in construction) at the next door property. The hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating. We did have several meals at the "La Huerta" and found the food and service to be above average. The only drawback of this hotel is that it's quite a ways (20 mins. by taxi) from downtown Acapulco. If it's seclusion that your looking for at a reasonable price, this hotel is for you.

The view of Acapulco Bay as soon as you enter the hotel sets the mood. Since our room wasn't ready (we were very early), they gave us a temporary room until our was ready. That was the level of the service throughout our stay. I would definitely return and stay longer. It was that good!

The Camino Real is a beautiful place to stay and has a most accomodating staff. The rooms are large, very clean and all have a nice view of the bay. The restaurants on site are very good and the waiters great. About the only thing that we found disappointing was the location for a first time visitor to Acapulco. The only access to any area outside was a $30+ taxi ride to town (then same $30 back). If you want a quiet comfortable rest in a most beautiful area, this is your place.

Breakfast was very good, lunch and dinner were tasteless and very overpriced. The only good thing on the menu was club sandwich. The hotel had a great view and for the most part very friendly staff. About a 10- 15 minute taxi ride to town and good food.
