Horrible. Absolutely Horrible. Terrible. Absolutely Terrible.
The hotel is absolutely beautiful and the staff was excelent! The only complaint we had was the mosquitos.......
The hotel and dinning is expensive but worth it. The spa was incredible experience. Highly recommended. Food at restaurant was great
The overall experience at Banyan Tree Cabo Marqués was really satisfying and completely worth the price. I stayed at Banyan to celebrate my first marriage anniversary and they didn’t disappointed me. Starting with the arrival, you just go straight to the main lobby and start relaxing. They take care of everything else. You will need to use the buggies to move around the hotel but that shouldn’t be a problem. It has 3 different restaurants with different options of food (Las Rocas, La Nau and Saffron) and Las Vistas Bar & Lounge with a spectacular view of the Pacific. We stayed at an Ocean View Villa, with own private plunge pool (heated if asked). It is a very well sized room and perfect in detail. The rest of the common areas are spectacular as well (main infinite pool, Spa, Gym, etc.). They really won’t disappoint you and we highly recommend you try it. We've been to Indonesia, Thailand, Australia and the location of Banyan Tree reminded us from those paradisiac places.
The Banyan Tree is truly a gorgeous hotel. The lobby is spectacular, where guests walk into a cliff top view of the Pacific ocean. You should note that this hotel does not have direct beach access. The hotel is beautifully built into the mountainside, so ocean view villas have views of the bay and the Pacific from several hundred feet above sea water. There are numerous beaches a short cab ride away should you wish to explore the local area. It would be very hard to leave your villa however. Each room has a private infinity pool and outdoor seating areas. We had in-room dining set up romantic meals outside by the pool. The only disappointment was the food. With the exception of La Rocas, the restaurants had very average tasting food. For the price we expected 5 star cuisine, but mostly came up short. Food was bland and not well prepared. The breakfast buffet was also a big let down. We truly enjoyed our stay despite this setback. Highly recommended. Absolutely upgrade to an ocean view or ocean front villa (ask for views of the Pacific, not just bay view).
Excelent villa, nice heated pool, better view, saffron restaurant is one of the best Thai restaurants in Mexico. Is the best beach hotel in Mexico
