Room were really small and they smell really mustie

It is not my first stay t this Hotel this is my third stay and everytime we return it is always the same great atmosphere and the hotel keeps up to date in a variety of their service. The pools for adult and those for children at held very neet. All customers that will stay will receive a very friendly attendance either at their 3 different variety of restaurants in the hotel or at their 2 bars and all their PERSONAL in all their different domains are very qualified. It is for us the best Hotel for families or couples or for receptions on special occasions.

Only stayed one night waiting for our apartment elsewhere, therefore did not experience all the facilities the hotel offered. Had a small refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker, but offered no coffee or tea packets. Close to small convenience store and easy access to the beach. Hotel staff friendly and helpful. Provided us the accommodation we needed.

Pics posted on their website did not match the reality. Swimming pool was being repaired at the time that we arrived. Our room was not what we expected, we found a cockroach inside our bathroom, our mattress was really old and filthy. We called the room service and a person just moped the cockroach and left. The manager at least offered us one extra night but we declined.

1. The room was not good due to an smell to humidity 2. I requested the room change so they provided me a room beside but it was with same smell and also we review another room in different floor but with was same smell 3. The last day we delay time to make chek out, also to use the elevator

I would like to say it was ok. The room was great. I mean one of the best rooms and view that I have ever had. Now on the other hand I do not speak spanish. When I first arrived I could not be checked in because the two people at the front desk did not speak any english. Luck for me my partner is Mexican so I had him check us in. So next we go to the resturant and my partner goes to the bathroom and I thought I would order, wrong again the staff in the resturant did not speak english (btw the food in the resturant was the worst). So this place is great for someone who speaks spanish and eats somewhere else.

The hotel needs to be upgraded. In my opinion the bathromms are very old and they running down. But, the service and hotel personel were very polite and helpful

the hotel needs some major upgrades , really needs new towels they were as hard as a rock . no wash cloths for the bathroom and people were always out to get a tip for doing nothing . i will never go back to that place. Cops at this location are so bad , we were pulled over on the way to the airport and was forced to pay $60 to get our DL back , so we could catch our flight . Acapilco sucks !!!!

Nice hotel and very clean. Great staff and restaurant. Pool was very crowded, but over all it was the best vacation I have ever had. Great people and Acapulco is a party town and lots of fun!

Excellent location, perfect weather.

In my opinion, the hotel is confortable, even do is old. Rooms, Elevatots (4)and panoramic views are good. The food is very good at the Restaurant with a great variety of Mexican dishes. Overall I'm pleased with my stay on this hotel.

The Avalon Excalibur was the worst hotel that I have ever stayed in. I have been to Mexico 5 times and this was the first time where I was at a hotel where not one member of the staff spoke a word of English. Our room was not cleaned at all during are entire stay. The Concierge was very unhelpful and rude. The beach amnitities were very poor, there were never enough lounge chairs on the pool or on the beach, and the hotel security was lackluster. Beach Vendors were allowed to come up to you as you lounged on hotel property and harrassed you every five minutes. the Food and drinks at the hotel were inedible and highly over priced. If you want to have a miserable time in Acapulco stay at this hotel, if not their are much better options available.

the staff was very helpful & friendly. We loved the free buffet breakfast. It was fabulous! We also enjoyed the beautiful view of the ocean.

Great Location had a great time. Room was ok. People were friendly. Everything was fine. Hotel needs to be updated. AC was broken. But over all it was worth it.

Overall its a good hotel but it does need a remodelation. the elevators are a pain, its better to get the first levels and get the stairs. it does has a pool but its a small one. its the first hotel build in the costera so its kind of far away from all the clubs. the staff people are very friendly and will help with any kind of questions or problems. like around 80% of the people staying are families so there are lots of kids.
