My husband chose this place as our final stop to a very long driving vacation. It was very lovely. There were a few issues such as it took the air conditioner a while to cool the room, the hairdryer was broken, and there was one tissue left in the box. They responded to issues promptly, but there was some frustration such as because of the hairdryer we had about 10 minutes before breakfast ended. I thought it was odd that they had the 10 commandments as a huge centerpiece of the breakfast area.

Great for a small vacation. Rooms were a little old fashioned, not glam like I was expecting.

I picked this hotel on a whim because I had a discount deal that cut the cost more than half, otherwise I never would have known it existed. There is much to this hotel that an outside glance can offer. Beautiful indoor fountain in the middle is surrounded by small 2-4person tables for meals. Small starbucks store on-site was wonderful (love me those mochas). I made use of a gaming ping pong table (pretty run down with ratty paddles but not something I care about anyway). The rooms are magnificent, each with a large glass door covered in a curtain. That would be my only complaint, the room doors are see-through. if you don't take care in covering with a solid curtain, anyone can take a peek at what you are doing. Two hdtvs are great considering my girlfriend and I have different tastes. nice mini-fridge and coffee maker, double-entrance bathroom connecting the living room and bedroom. Definitely worth calling a suite, it feels right for the price. I stayed during construction of a wing (I think it was construction or painting, not important) so my window in the bedroom was blocked. not that it would matter, my room faced a back parking lot and alley. Just thought it worth mentioning. the other half of the hotel faces the shopping district. having a mall across the street (I walked right over in a couple minutes) is very handy. the hotel has a nice spot in front of the mall and a couple nearby restaurants.

The staff was very awesome and super helpful. Upon our arrival, we were able to check in 4 hrs early. When we got into our room, it smelled like it was a smoking room. We requested a non-smoking room. But since they were already booked up, the cleaning staff came back up and refreshened the room with some sort of de-odorizer. The tub was filthy. We requested a room with a Jacuzzi tub, we didn't get it. Again, since they were completely booked, no recourse or room availability. The beds were not comfortable, at all. They advertise all over they have the best beds throughout the hotel. That may have been the case several years ago, but not now. There were a lot of things for activities to do. Ping pong, 2 pool tables, foosball, shuffleboard, arcade games. There is also a pool and hot tub. The hot tub was out of order. There is no supervision in the pool area. So children are able to run amok. If the parents aren't around, they will run wild. The staff will not say anything. For what we paid for a night, the stay was just ok. The hotel itself is antiquated.

I've stayed at every nice Hotel in Abilene over the last 20 years. MCM Elegante is by far the best of them all. Everything you need to feel like home is in the suite and Hotel. The free breakfast by the big fountain was a really nice way to start the day. The free beer and wine in the early evening by the fountain is so relaxing. When you add up all of the free stuff, this is the best bargain it town. Also, you can walk across the street to the mall, and several restaurants. My daughter loves the swimming, and my wife likes the work out room, and I like the private bar. Like I said I've tried them all. This hotel is the only one for us!

The rooms were clean and roomy. We loved the living room/bar/kitchen. We were only able to take advantage of the free drinks one night of our stay, but we enjoyed the complimentary breakfast every morning. The bed was comfortable, and our only complaint was the rain dripping off the eaves kept us awake, but the hotel can't control the weather .Also, the pool and hot tub were closed for maintenance 3 out of the 4 days we stayed. We would definitely stay here again!

Rooms could use updating but great stay over all. I do recommend. Friendly staff and good food.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay while doing business in Abilene. The complimentary drinks in the afternoon were a welcomed surprise, and the amount of food choices at breakfast was appreciated. The room was comfortable and the bed nice to sleep in. A special shout out to the delightful little woman that worked in the breakfast area. Her smile lit up the room and made me feel most welcome.

The rooms were big and we didn't feel all closed in when our friends and family came to visit. They provided so many amenities for family fun that we didn't have to leave the hotel unless we chose to.

This hotel is elegant (like it's name). It is older and reminds me greatly of an Embassy Suites hotel with the room/suites, the central courtyard, and the conference rooms surrounding the courtyard. Good "happy hour" where we each got 4 free drinks (alcoholic or non) and each had a free hot breakfast with eggs made to order. We also ate at the hotel restaurant and had an wonderful meal for a great price. As noted above, it is older, with the furnishings perhaps needing an upgrade, especially in the bathroom. Living area of the suite was a little dark. But overall a nice place to stay. Easy off/easy on from US 84 heading South.

My wife and I stayed one night for a quick getaway. This hotel was great in every way. The room was great. the staff was very pleasant, and the pool & hot tub was wonderful. I will definitely stay again!

nice hotel for families with kids, great pool and rec area with pool tables, pingpong etc. very dated hotel but great staff and breakfast.

I was in Abilene to be in a wedding and most of the wedding party and guests stayed at MCM Elegante. Everything was perfect!!!

Musty rooms, rude and unresponsive staff to issues.

need taller table lamps for reading.need more tv channels.replace that antique living room chair with a recliner.

For the price, you will not find a better hotel. We got a 2-room suite, REAL 2 rooms, not one of those big rooms with a partial divider. There's a sitting room with flat-screen TV & sleeper sofa. There's a little kitchen with dining table, refrigerator, microwave, sink, & big countertop. In a separate room is the bedroom with another flat-screen TV, lots of drawers for clothes, & a sink. The only thing that keeps me from giving this place 5 stars is that it is on the verge of becoming run down. It's not quite there, but you can tell that new decor, mattresses, and some maintenance on the furniture is needed. If the owners don't get busy on this place, it will become a place to avoid. But for right now, it's still in fairly good shape & we really enjoyed our stay here. The lobby is great with a big fountain in the middle. A fun stay, at least for now.

Enjoyed my stay at the hotel. Staff was great to work with and their service was excellent. Unfortunately the sofabed was horrible. Definitely need to replace those mattresses!

the hotel is due a makeover pretty soon. bed was in pretty rough shape, ac didnt work for 2 hours one night. other than that breakfast was great, room was pretty clean. hopefully with a little upgrades it will be back to top notch soon.

STAFF WAS AWSOME mall was just across the street resturants were everywhere everybody was very nice. i will have to come back again for sure room was super clean breakfast was great.

When we got there, the room we had reserved was "not available." Then we were sent to a smoking room with maintenance trying to resolve plumbing issues. The 3rd room was fine, but had one bed when we'd reserved 2. They did comp a movie & pizza, which was nice, but we had to make a minor fuss to get the ingredients on the pizza we wanted instead of a plain one. But once it came, it was very good. Hotel staff stated they can't guarantee any reservations made on-line.
