Older property. Very odd shower with mold on tile floor and walls. Ceiling lights did not come on so shower was very dark. Breakfast was minimal at best. I inquired at front desk about empty coffee carafe and the response from front desk was that attendant was busy with something else. She appeared to be cleaning out a closet in another area. This was the 5th hotel stay I had in the last month and by far the worst coffee!!The only time that the breakfast service didn’t have a dedicated attendant. The whole area was a sloppy mess.

Needs an update on everything! Even the towels, wash clothand bedding. Bed was very comfortable. Housekeeping did a good job straighting room during the day but were very loud. Breakfast was good We had 4 guests and only 3 wash clothes.... WHY?

I had 2 double rooms for 1 night. One of the room's bedding was covered in stains. Both beds. We called the desk and requested clean comforters immediately after check in, around 3:30 pm. We left the hotel and returned around 10:30 pm. The bedding had not been changed. The desk clerk said they got busy and forgot. Then asked how late we would be awake. We talked them into coming to the room to see for themselves. They offered a new room, which we accepted.

Not a great experience
I stay at this hotel usually once a month, it has been a good hotel for the most part but one time I stayed there was a storm and part of the shingles from roof flew off and damaged my car and after getting estimates to fix it and submitted it to owner of property he would never respond and did not thing to pay for the almost $6,000 damage my vehicle received. This hotel also does not accommodate for early check in so do not show up any earlier than 2:00 pm because they will not make any exceptions. This last time I arrived at 2:34 pm and my room was not ready and because they said I used a 3rd party booking they would not allow me to change from a king room that wasn’t ready to a double room that was ready. The cleaning ladies were amazing though and did get my room cleaned ASAP… I live the cleaning ladies for sure. I was given a room they did not lock and had to change rooms at the last minute. I am not sure I will stay again.

The staff was helpful and caring. First room had an oder and sticky bathroom floor. I called down and was happily accommodated. Second room was very comfortable. Tv did not work so I read a book. Stayed for three nights. Shower was a trickle. Breakfast was good.

I really liked the people working there. Everyone was so friendly and thoughtful. I was here for family member in the hospital. Location was convenient, room comfortable, it was close to the places I needed to go, and was quiet. Most importantly, traveling alone, I felt safe. Breakfast, while not a 5 Star restaurant, was hot, filling, and a pretty good variety. I’ll be returning to Abilene and staying here as necessary.

The front desk receptionist was thorough and efficient. The problem was with the room. When we entered we immediately were met with a foul smell, like the toilet was backed up. The hotel was full and we were exhausted from our travels so we endured it. We were not in the room other than late at night.

The room was clean, bed and pillows comfortable. The breakfast had enough variety that most could find something to get their fill and the day started. Although I didn’t use the exercise room there were guests using the equipment. My stay was a last minute decision that worked out for my situation. It was close to the hospital where I was visiting my sister. The staff were kind and friendly. If my stay is extended I will book there again.

Pleasant staff, good breakfast. Ludicrously huge rooms not matched by condition of basic amenities-- e.g. - 14ft ceiling in the shower, but a wan trickle of water flow, a remote with dying batteries that performed random changes to the TV.... Despite advertising what looked like a lovely spa and pool, the area was padlocked and inaccessible. No reason the room has to be so huge- waste of space and heating/cooling demand make it not sustainable.

Nice hotel, breakast was as it should be and out earlier than expected which was nice. Couple dogs in rooms barking, that is what they do, but room did not smell like animals like some pet friendly ones do. Bed was comfy.
