Room smelled like wet dogs the bed lining smelled like nasty body sweat and the towels were dirty smelling... I was very unhappy this is not the first time the room I got wasn't clean like it suppose to be

I wasn't sure about the Days inn because of past experience with any of days inn. They aren't the best places to stay. This one was given good marks so I stayed & was very impressed. The inside was decorated very nice. It wasn't dirty or no smell. The young lady at the front desk was very helpful & quickly got me checked in within 5 minutes. They have Wi-Fi.. I was just there overnight so didn't check if they had a pool or exercise room. You enter the rooms from the outside & with tx. weather that wasn't a problem. The room was large and very well kept up. No issues with plumbing or bugs. No noisy neighbors. I was on the back end of hotel & the entrance to the hotel was very close. It entered into the breakfast area. They had ample supply of breakfast.. waffles, eggs, bacon, fruit, toast, coffee, juice & so forth. If I have to come to Abilene again I most likely will stay here. The price was right.

This is a very nice hotel. It is conveniently located to shopping and lots of restaurant choices. Check in was very quick and easy. Beds were amazing and the bathroom was very spacious. Staff was very warm and helpful.

We purchased two non-smoking rooms for our family and upon check-in they were confirmed. Once we opened the doors to the rooms, they both reeked of cigarette smoke. I called the front desk to complain only to be told that the room adjacent to one of our rooms was a designated smoking room, so that was probably what we smelled. A poor answer. We left the doors open for a while, but the bugs and hot summer air were too much for us. A stinking bad night of sleep.

The Day's Inn in Abilene went above and beyond our expectations. We had to travel there because a family member to a turn for the worse. We flew in to Dallas and rented a car, arriving in Abilene long before check-in time. They hurried and got our room ready and let us check in early. Our relative passed away a few days after we arrived. The office staff was very accommodating with helping us print documents, send and receive faxes and all the while offering sympathetic wishes for our difficulties. A full breakfast every morning, good beds, convenient location, all at what we considered a very reasonable price.

The Days Inn in Abilene, is located near the Abilene Mall in within easy walking distance of a large number of restaurants. Although not new, I found it very clean ... with a large room facing away from the traffic. It was very quiet. The complimentary breakfast was quite nice and offered an assortment of eggs, sausages, bread items and a waffle in the shape of Texas to go along with the normal fruits and cereals. In addition to the above, it was the lowest-cost hotel in the vicinity. I rate this as a very good value and recommend it to the tired traveler.

AC was weak. Refrigerator didn't work. Staff at the front was very difficult to deal with then gave me a hard time about the fridge. They gave me a "gift card" for a restaurant as payment for the faulty fridge. I can only describe this gift card as a joke and I have not been able to redeem it as it is very non standard to say the least. I had to ask for towels. I will not stay at another days inn.

I've stayed at my fair share of hotels, but I've never had to leave a deposit when paying cash for a room. Thought that was pretty retarded. Room has a moldy smell to it. I'll look at other hotels in the area before staying at this one again. On a good note, the Continental breakfast was amazing.

We woul.d definitely come here again. IN fact, this is the 2nd time I have stayed at this particular motel!

I stayed here because I was passing through town with my dog. The location was good for my route, and the price was very reasonable. The room was clean and quiet, and the bed was good. My only complaint was that the AC did not dry out the air in the room, which felt humid.
