Staff were friendly the hotel was clean. Breakfast was nice and plenty of it.

We didn't know about dog fee until we received our conformation. We had three failures with room ket and had to have them replaced. When leaving, the elevator broke down and we were staying on the fourth floor. Staff was courteous but we were disappointed with the experience.

For the price it is very comfortable and great location. This is the second time I stayed here and I would go back again

I've been staying here once a year for the past six years. In the last two years, it looks like deferred maintenance is taking a toll on the property. Downspouts from the rain gutters were missing, and the gutter on the front right side was loose and blowing in the wind, making noises that could be heard in the parking lot. The juice machine at breakfast had a sign that said the orange juice didn't work, and the sign looked like it had been there for quite some time. The property remains a good value, but it is less pleasant than it was in prior years.

From the moment we walked in, the staff at Comfort Suites was warm, friendly and attentive to our needs. The complimentary breakfast had wonderful options for all kinds of diet preferences. Again, the staff was very helpful when I needed something during breakfast. Location is very close to Abilene Airport and they have a shuttle. The only negative: We had a room with 2 queens. One mattress was great. The other one was painful. Overall, it's a great place to stay in Abilene for the price.

nice hotel convenient to area hospitals but dining options limited

Stayed here for a Wedding, motel is in a good location convienent to get around town. Bed is not very comfortable pillows are small

We went to Abilene to conduct personal business and wanted a clean, comfortable, but not-too-pricey hotel to stay in for two nights. This fit the bill. This particular location was the newest Comfort Inn in Abilene; there is another in the business district that looks to be much older. The bed was extremely comfortable with lots of comfortable pillows. The lighting was a bit dim with those confounded CFL bulbs, and I could not find a light switch upon entering the room the first time, and had to walk across the room to switch on a lamp. Later I did find the switch next to the closet. If you're looking for outstanding service you may want to go somewhere else; usually when you enter the hotel you have to ring a bell at the front desk for someone to come out and help you. The pool is outdoors and as it was a cool, rainy September weekend when we were there, we were unable to enjoy that. Glitches included the built-in hair dryer refusing to work for more than 30-seconds at a time. I tried using it both days and it just wouldn't work more than that. The in-house breakfast is adequate, although not properly staffed. We were there on both Saturday and Sunday mornings and even though we arrived in the breakfast room relatively early--8:00 a.m.--on Saturday, the room was already crowded and there was not enough food. We chose to take a 5-minute drive to the nearest breakfast restaurant. After returning at about 9:00 a.m., my husband tried to get a cup of coffee to go from the breakfast area, but the coffee decanter was completely empty and there was no staff around. On Sunday morning we went to breakfast at about 7:30 and found the breakfast area nearly empty with plenty of food and coffee, although again there was no staff waiting to fill food trays, etc. like I have seen at most other hotels. Free local newspapers were available at the front desk. I do have to say the hotel was extremely quiet, at least the weekend we were there. That is a huge plus to me.

I have no complaints about the room, it was extremely clean and very modern, it even smelled great! Hotel staff was accommodating and friendly. The outdoor pool and hot tub area was somewhat small, and occupied by someone smoking a cigar, which put a bit of a damper on that experience, they really need to add a "no smoking" sign. I was traveling through town on a long road trip, and compared to many other similarly-priced hotels, this one stood out as well-maintained and extremely clean.

Second time staying at this location. Reasonably priced and clean comfortable rooms. Hotel staff provided excellent & friendly services. Arrived in Abilene the night before picking up grandchildren to drive to Port Aransas for vacation. Goal was to get a restful night's sleep before the fun began. With no fault of Comfort Inn, Abilene had a severe thunderstorm with high winds, rain, and hail. My sleep was definitely interrupted, but NOT because of anything lacking at the hotel. I'll definitely stay there again.
