Very clean. Everything worked. Had. Bad bed in the first room, but they switched me to a different room right away. Staff was excellent and very friendly. Would be nice if they had queen beds instead of full size beds. Overall a good place to stay for a good price.

Overall staff, service and room were above expectations. However, the bed was more like a bag of springs arranged to hit every pressure point in your body and not allow for sleeping. Also, be prepared to hear your neighbors’ bathroom habits as the walls and plumbing resonate throughout the rooms.

Customer service at the front desk is excellent and welcoming.

The beds were horrible!!!!! They were uncomfortable and they were full beds. Every time you turned over you’d flip your partner all over the place. There was no firmness so when I got up my shoulder blades hurt. I only slept maybe 2 hours. We left at 5:45in the morning and went home. (41/2 hour drive at 5:45 in the morn) I believe when you worked hard all week and go to a hotel the bed should be the most important if the stay. Your exhausted and want some genuine rest. Everything else was great! But the beds need upgraded 100%!! Feeling mad 😠 and disappointed 😞

Enjoyed not being able to hear people walking out in the hallway. Very neat and tidy!

No problems great room, great service. Will definately stay again

Great place to stay! The staff is amazing and very attentive.

I chose this Marriot because it is smoke free (some in Abilene are not) and especially PET FREE! I am tired of having a room that was occupied last by a dog. I am sure that pets staying in small hotel rooms are on the furniture all the time and sleeping in the bed. This is not for me. I was happy that our room was clean and free of pet smells. I also liked the idea of the bistro bar being available in case we wanted to stay in. The bar closes at 10, so there's that.... Also in this day and age with a room price in the mid one hundreds, not to have a free breakfast... that's just not acceptable. Our "buffet" breakfast (that was on par with much cheaper hotels that offer it free) cost us $23. My husband also bought a $3+ coffee from the Starbucks there before he realized that the hotel did offer coffee in their lobby. Get with the program and offer a small free happy hour and free breakfast.

Comfortable quiet hotel close to food and amenities like grocery storr

Very nice hotel located close to everything Abilene has to offer.

The room was beautiful and nicely updated. We stay in a lot of hotels and it's sometimes hard to impress us but this one was great. It was clean and the beds were comfortable. The staff was really friendly and helpful. When we asked for ideas on places to eat they gave us hometown favorites not the usual franchise restaurants you can get anywhere. We would definitely stay again.

The wireless internet connection is slow. I can't watch YouTube on my laptop.

We recently stayed at the Courtyard in Abilene... It was fine, no major complaints, but a few minor ones. We checked in during the late evening and our room was ready and waiting. Our room was clean, but it was old looking, especially around the rusted door frame in the bathroom. Our room was an accessible room, as that is all they had left. It was no problem, except for the adjustable shower head was broken, so it could only attach to the sliding bar (that allows people who need it lower to bring it down). I am 5'7" and I barely fit under it- my 6'2" husband definitely had to do a backbend to rinse his hair off. The bed was comfortable, the room was spacious enough. We were so on the go we did not have time to do much else. The woman at the front desk was unable to give me directions which was a bit shocking, since the location I was requesting ended up being less than a mile from the hotel. The location is directly across the street from the mall, and Abilene has every chain store and restaurant you can imagine. They are all within just a few miles of this hotel. I'd stay here again. The price was VERY welcoming, especially since we are from a tourist area where this room could have easily been 5-6 times as expensive.

The first thing that impressed me was the staff. Everyone was kind, helpful and just plain friendly. We arrived at 11pm so it would be easy to assume the front desk attendant working late could be grumpy or tired - not the case. They were so amazing with some great dining suggestions and help with check-in. The room was perfect - clean and cool. The beds were extremely comfortable and clean. We loved that the hotel had a little coffee shop that served up all kinds of fresh treats and meals, along with starbucks coffee. Overall, I was very, very pleased. We had stayed at other chains along the way and had bad experiences - this was a homerun and a much needed good night of sleep.

Room was clean and looked cozy. Staff was excellent and seemed to really care about the comfort of their guests. The mini fridge didn't stay closed, must just be worn out or something. Air conditioner didn't get as cold as we would have liked it too but it was over 100 degrees outside. Overall the room was a good deal and pretty comfortable.

The staff was great and perfect for a short or long stay.

The hotel was perfect. It was comfortable and the staff were helpful and polite. It was right in the middle of everything; food, shopping, anything you need.
