My wife was treated rudely by the staff upon arrival by a female staff member after 5pm. There were some unsafe patrons at the hotel that kept looking at are truck, we were worried it would be broken into but it wasn’t. People were drinking alcohol outside the rooms by us.

It took awhile for anyone to come to the front desk each time I went there for anything. There were only 3 small tables for breakfast seating. Pool was very small, but since I was the only one at it, that wasn't a problem. However, if children had been using it at the same time, that would've been a real concern.

There was mosquitos everywhere ! Spiders and cob webs on every corner. Very inconvenient to get to a hotel you’d like to relax in after driving for hours to not be able to get no sleep because of mosquitos biting and being everywhere. Would give it zero stars if I could Honestly and no refund ??

No better than a Motel 6

I thought this would be a good place because it’s a part of Best Western but NO! The fridge, iron, and hair drier didn’t work. The bed lamp flickered. There were more than 15 mosquitos on the walls and ceilings that kept bothering us. There were gross brown spots on the wall by the sink. Even though we had “do not disturb” on our door, someone was banging on it in the morning. The only good thing I can say is that at least it didn’t appear to have bed bugs.

Seen better days

As the old saying goes, "you get what you pay for." Granted, I was expecting a lot for the price point, just a place to sleep. That said, I arrive around 4 pm, and I was sent to two different rooms that weren't cleaned yet. The third I was sent to was ready. The property itself has seen better days and is worn. The hotel lobby glass doors looks like that haven't been wiped down in ages. The room itself was clean and thank goodness it had wood laminate floors instead of carpet. Since the rest of the hotel was not kept well, I would shudder to think how nasty carpets in a room would be. The other hotel guests were slamming doors and hanging out in the parking lot having loud conversations. Needless to say, that makes it difficult to go to bed early. This will not be a place I stay again. Granzella's Inn is two blocks away and has a lovely deli and restaurant. I will stay there if I am ever in Williams, CA again.

Surestay hotel

The room was clean and comfortable We got to use the pool for an extra hour after it closed. Night swimming is the best. Top Lock was broken and just hanging off door. We used a chair in front of door for added safety.

Worth the stay-quiet room

The check-in employee was very friendly and nice. The place is nothing fancy, but it was clean, comfortable, and surprisingly quiet. Our room faced the freeway, but we couldn't hear it with the door closed! We were on the first floor and didn't hear other guests. Walking distance to a couple of restaurants. This was an unexpected stop for us, so we were looking for reasonably priced accommodations. This fit the bill!
