The AC works fine, but the temperature was a bit off because it got a whole lot colder in the early morning time when it should have been more useful at bedtime on the same setting.

1) The American Breakfast is mis-named: no cereals, pancakes, muffins... A better name would be Western Breakfast. With a limited choice, you're actually paying for excellent service and an amazing view, rather than the food. 2) Front of house in the cafe should know all about all menu options without having to ask, e.g. what's in the quiche. 3) I don't think that the space under the bed (room 414) had made the acquaintance of a vacuum cleaner in several years. 4) Wonderful staff - polite and very helpful All in all, a joy to revisit.

Room was very comfortable and quiet. Perfect for a good nights rest. The staff helped us secure two extra nights due to our cruise ship embarkation delay caused by Typhoon Halong. They were also very helpful when my wife got locked out of her luggage due to a faulty TSA lock.

Probably the quietest hotel we’ve ever stayed in. Concierge was great she booked us an English speaking driver for a 3 hour tour. Also booked a great lunchtime dinner cruise around the harbor which was great. Short walk to China town
