Unplugged Rustic Cabin in the Woods

Cozy home base for exploring the southern Sierras, full of vintage charm. Disconnect (no wifi, poor cell signal) and enjoy the old growth forest on our doorstep. Great collection of vinyl LPs and VHS movies to keep you entertained. Original antique appliances complete the time machine feel. Enjoy nearby Kernville, Lake Isabella, the mighty Kern River, the trail of 100 Giants, and all the southern Sierras have to offer. Conveniently located off the beaten path, but only 1 hour from Bakersfield and 3 hours from LA.
The cabin is heated and features a kitchen and space to spread out with a separate bedroom and a dining area. Guests can expect to find a TV with a DVD player. Other standard amenities include a fireplace, a coffee maker, and a kitchen island.

Everything you could want from a cabin in the woods. Location is very pretty, cabin is incredibly cozy, and the vhs collection was a really fun touch. Used this as a base camp for fishing the Kern, would love to come back, and I think we will.

The unplugged cabin was a lovely place to stay for our anniversary. It gave us a much needed weekend away from the hustle bustle of daily life. The property was clean, cozy, and just what we were looking for.

Excellent location. The area is super beautiful. Perfect mountain vacation vibe. Quick response from the host. Easy to communicate. However, the property was not clean. Dust and spider webs everywhere, and a bucket with rotten water in a fire pit. Porch chairs full of foliage and dirts. No WiFi and no cell signal.
