Entire hotel had an “old” “stale” odor. Carpet in our room looked worn and dirty. Our room had same stale odor, especially the bathroom. Lampshade was missing from the floor lamp. Window shade did not go up and down properly. Bed made creaking sound when you moved while on the bed. The breakfast was terrible. Omelettes and sausages were overcooked and lukewarm. Grits were watery and tasteless. Both lemon and plain waffle batter was watered down and made terrible waffles.

The room was clean and comfortable, and the workspace in the room was better than what I saw in some of the pricier hotels nearby. The valets were friendly and gave good advice. The only drawbacks were that views from the room were of surrounding commercial buildings, you can't see to the river from here. Also breakfast could have been better.
