The room had nats flying in it.... this was my biggest issue and the towels are horrible. When you get out the shower and dry off you have white lint over you entire body from the towels.

Upon entering the room we found a half-empty water bottle. I was skeptical about the room having been cleaned. There were smudge marks on one of the towels so we asked for new towels from the front desk. After waiting around for a while for towels we finally went back to the room with no towels. When we pulled the blankets down, we found an earring in between the sheets. Clearly this room had not been cleaned. The owner (I believe) did finally come around with new sheets and towels but I felt that a lot of corners were being cut. There were also guests smoking just outside our door and dogs urinating on the posts so it smelled rather disgusting. We brought our dog but walked him well away from the facilities. I guess others aren't so considerate.

Over all great place to stay. Could have had more to choose fron for breakfast. Will be staying again.

Overall the hotel is ok. Although the facilities are not as good as I thought it should be (it is simply because the hotel is constructed for years and they never renewed anything), the agents are friendly and helpful and there is nothing extraordinarily uncomfortable. If you simply want to stay for short time, do not wish to spend a lot of money and do not have special request such as how close it should be to the beach, this hotel can be a choice of consideration.

Good price, very nice staff, quiet for the most part. You can tell the rooms have been remodeled but very sloppy job by the contractor... I wish they would have carried over what they did with the vanity into the shower and toilet.... OHHH and curtains that actually cover the widow would have been nice, I had to be creative to keep my widow covered and so people could not see in. Again the staff was very nice and did all they could to make sure we had a good stay but something needs to be done by the owners to give it that little something extra.

At check in the receptionist was very nice and told me about the free wifi and cable, etc. upon entering our room we see a bobby pin and a hair tie on the floor that were not mine. There was paint on the floor and carpet as well as molding falling off the wall. The cable would not turn on and no wifi ever registered in my phone. There was no phone on the room to call the front desk. We killed about 6 bugs while in there. There was dirt piled in the corners of the room. The water pressure was extremely low. I actually felt dirty leaving there and didn't want to go to sleep. Felt like I was in a horror movie. Wouldn't stay again even if it were free.

Was horrible , had to switch rooms twice , then on top of that the shower didn't work and was surrounded by drug addicts smoking crack out in the parking lot

I can not tell you enough to avoid this hotel until they make some major changes. First room, sink was falling off the wall, toe nail clippings on the floor, dead bugs in the bath, cigarette burns on the comforters, the hair dryer fell of the wall when we shut the bathroom door. All with in the first 10 minutes of checking in. We alerted the front desk and were able to move to a new room. The new room, while in tact, was. Ot much better. We did not receive room service in the four nights we were there. It was a terrible, horrible experience. Upon checking out I talked with the manager who seemed unresponsive and unapologetic. I called their corporate line whose response was to give me a free night. Please avoid this hotel.

room was a little small but pool was great and the breakfast was nice hotel was a little to far from carolina beach but very close to wrightsville beach i would stay at this hotel again in fact planning another visit in august

The lady at front desk was very nice. Beds were very clean, bathroom clean but needs remodeling. Outside could use a good power washing. Location was great! Price was great. With all considered, I would come back!!

The bathroom had mold and was filthy. The tub was filthy and the sink was stopped up.

Stayed here over Memorial Day weekend. Was cheap and got the job done but was not all impressed and I am a low-maintenance person. Floors were full of sand when I walked in. Not one trashcan in room or bathroom. Shower was dirty. Half of the TV channels were black and white fuzz or froze every 5 minutes. Wifi super slow. If you're looking for a cheap place to lay your head and nothing else, this is your place. I will say, front desk staff was friendly and helpful.

Great price but wasn't real clean. However they were remodeling the other rooms. Very convenient to stores and food!

I stayed in a nonsmoking room that had cigarette burns all over the comforter and bathtub. The bottom of the bathtub was chipping away and brown from discoloration. There was no hot water and a used bar of soap sitting on the side of the tub when I first arrived. There was also a black hair on the wall in the shower. None of the outlets in the bathroom worked so I sat on the side of the bed to blow dry my hair with no mirror. Awful rooms, but nice staff.

I stayed two consecutive nights where there was an open coffee bag left from the last person in there. There was a used soap bar in the shower from the person before and black short hairs on the shower wall(I have long blonde hair). The outlets in the bathroom didn't work so I was forced to sit on the bed and blow dry my hair. I constantly saw maids walking around outside but after seeing my room wondered what they actually did there. I guess that's why it is so cheap to stay there. If you're looking for a $35 room and do t care what the inside looks like then this is your spot.

The location of the hotel was great, however, the room had roaches and was not clean. I itched and scratched all night in the bed ( perhaps due to the fact tat it was a pet friendy hotel). I honestly believe i lwas sleeping with mites or fleas from dogs. I would not stay here again. Ill bite the bullet and pay the extra $20 for cleanliness.

Room was dated, as is the whole place. The A/C unit was on its last leg, but it made it through the night. The continental breakfast could be a little more expansive, but overall, not too bad, I would stay again if the price were to drop $10 per night unless upgrades take place.

It was the cheapest we could find for Memorial Day weekend so it did its' job. Cab about $10 to downtown. The room wasn't very comfortable, TV was old and remote didn't work. Staff was very good and came up to room to make sure it worked, called cabs for us and my wife left her dresses in the room and they located them and put them aside for pick up. So if you need a place to put your head and not looking for luxury this works but typically you can find better for same price.

We arrived a bit early and drove around the parking area. It was littered with piles of furniture. The building needed painting and overall appearance was run down. The room was ready at check in. We first noticed the holes in the furniture and the old paint on the vanity. The light over the vanity was flickering and needed to be replaced which was promptly taken care of. My wife would not use the shower and bath, for fear of germs. The wall paint was chipped near the corners from the bed hitting the wall during obvious activity. The shower handle fell off when I turned it. The room was poorly lit and the light near the bed had a switch that needed attention. Overall, the workers were great, polite, and did the best they could given the circumstances. This is not a 3 star hotel, our daughter found a similar room at the 1 star HOTEL for half the price. They knew enough not to claim 3 star status. Rbits will not be at the top of my list for future bookings.

I was hopeful given the recent positive comments. Three of us stayed in a single room with a King bed and a pull-out couch. The room looked pretty clean overall. However, when preparing the pull-out, , we noticed that one of the seat cushions had a big stain on it. The room had a faint odor you notice once you're settled in. We also wound up killing three cockroaches. Two on their backs in the bathroom and one on the bed as we were getting ready to leave. The pillows were small and clumped from over-use. They need to be replaced. On our first morning there, the machine that dispensed orange / apple juice wasn't working. There was no regular coffee available. The food selection was extremely limited and the area looked pretty messy. We could have just gotten there at the wrong time but there were only a handful of people eating there. We wound up going out for breakfast. The second day, I'm told it was better. We opted to go out for breakfast anyways.
