Rooms appeared clean, staff was kind, but we had to switch rooms initially because there was a barking dog next to us in the first room upon checking in. Our 2nd room was a little smaller, but they put us on the first floor. That was a mistake. Either the people above us stomped around like a stampede or their floors are that thin but we heard non stop stomping from 8pm until the early morning. Even our child's sound machine with white noise didn't drown it out. We tried calling front desk from our room phone and couldn't get connected, so we called the hotel from our cell phone around 10pm since we were already in bed, and they said they would go talk to the hotel guests above our room. It maybe quieted for 5-10 mins, and then stomping resumed until we checked out the next morning. There was also another dog next to us in the 2nd room but barking was minimal. Staff was friendly, but nothing was done to help that situation and it was annoying after a long day of travel.
