Nice hotel by the sea

The location is great for a peaceful holiday by the sea. Closest 7-11 was 200 m away, same a restaurants, massage, scooter rentals etc. The beach restaurant 300 m away is recommended ! Note! The beach is nice to walk, but there may be broken glass. Hotel maintenance could be improved. Traffic noise from street behind is very clear on 3rd floor rooms. I was luckily replaced on 2nd floor which was much better.

The staff were extremely helpful and great! Loved the service, however, my room’s A.C. Was not working at all! It was terrible! I got so much mosquito bites too! Bathroom was dirty and there were a lot of dirty hair on the bed still. The room was dirty and having no air conditioner mad it worse. View was great but overall I had a bad experience in the room. I couldn’t wait to check out! The shower head also had mold growing it. And the shower smelt bad and sprayed terrible.

Go for the views!

View was great, hotel was definitely the nicest in that area. We loved waking up to the view of the beach. The hotel staff service was just ok. I rated them a three, but not once during my three day stay did the staff approach me to take my order for food or drinks while my husband and I were by the pool. Every time we wanted to order, we had to approach the bar. Not sure if this is a cultural difference or just how they do things. The back lounge area was great for watching the sunset, which we did every night. The room itself was fine, not luxurious. Husband said the bed was hard. The area itself is 1 hour from airport, 45 from Bangla Rd, and 30 from Phuket docks. Not much to see or do in vicinity of hotel but we liked the relaxation aspect.

Clean and comfortable hotel with lovely pools

We went when the weather wasn't great, but Cloud 19 had fantastic reviews so we were looking forward to a relaxing time in beautiful surroundings. The hotel and room were lovely, clean and well kept, however, we were really disappointed in the food and we were shocked at how expensive the food and drink, were compared to the quality. For example, they charge 280 baht for a bottle of bear and 70 baht for a fizzy drink. I enjoyed the stay, but, I am not convinced I would I go back.

Still a good place to relax

Good Hotel but far from everything.... Idéal place for relaxation. We spent 3 days, during that time i could not belive how they left the beach unclean not to say dirty... Also Water and soda are way to expensive!!!

such a pleasure!

We spent 3 nights at Cloud 19 last week, and despite the weather not playing along (maxi rain!), we loved every minute. Our room was spacious, bright, immaculately clean, with a lovely view of the bay and virtually our own swimming pool at our doorstep! Nothing was too much trouble for the staff, who were very helpful, particularly the manager Shiela, who's great. We enjoyed that the hotel was small and private, and away from the frenetic tourist traps of Patong etc. We'll definitely be back!

Fabulous swimming pool

The hotel facilities were very good. Plenty of sunbeds around an enormous pool overlooking the bay. The restaurant was beautifully situated and the Thai food was very tasty. Breakfast was also excellent. We found the location too isolated. The beach was dirty with broken glass in the sand and it isn't possible to go into the sea because it is very rocky. A good place to go if you want to retreat. The location was not to our liking. Much better beaches in Phuket with a choice of restaurants and bars. There was building work going on next door. It didn't affect us but might be troublesome to some of the rooms in the new wing.

GREAT DISSAPOINTMENT!

JUST A GREAT DISSAPOINTMENT! DAY ONE ! BAD SMELL IN THE ROOM ON ARRIVAL AND SMELL STAYED RIGHT TO THE END OF OUR STAY ! BLOCKED SHOWER DRAIN ON ARRIVAL! THE FOLLOWING DAYS JUST KEPT THE PACE WITH A RUNNUNIG TOILET ! WORST OF ALL AN INTERNET THAT WAS DROPPING OUT CONSTANTLY OR FOR MUCH OF THE TIME NO SIGNAL AT ALL IN THE ROOM! NOT TO MENTION ALSO THE BREAKFAST THAT WAS MOST OF THE TIME ONE AND THE SAME C..P DAY AFTER DAY ! OVER ALL A GREAT DISSAPOINTMENT!

Amazing, would stay again!

Hotel was excellent, very picturesque. They have two pools, one main pool overlooking the beach and a smaller pool on the 1st floor at the doorstop of our room. Each was amazing and very relaxing. We stayed the night of the Krathong festival and enjoyed their festival meal. They accommodated that one of us was vegetarian and served us a customized meal that was probably the best Thai meal I've had in our entire thailand stay. We purposely chose to stay on the east side of Phuket to avoid they overcrowded touristy areas. Knowing that there would not be much around our hotel, our purpose was to have a purely relaxing and laid back night which was excellent at this hotel. They also helped us organize a taxi to the ratsada pier to catch the ferry to Koh Phi Phi that was included in the price of the ferry. Overall, excellent place that I would highly recommend!

Service is great

I went to a friends wedding who held a wedding ceremony in the hotel. I only stayed 1 night in there because I knew this hotel is pretty far away from the town. Service is great, food is great. Only 1 thing, that night after 11pm, their pipe got problem, no water for toilets, sink and the shower. I finally use bottle of water (complimentary 2 bottles of water) to remove my make up and clean my body at the end.

Never wanted to leave.

This resort was 5 star luxury. We couldn't have been happier. Beach was deserted, pools were beautiful, room was huge and stylishly decorated. Staff were very friendly, and despite speaking little English, were able to accommodate all of our needs. The area is quite quiet, but there are local restaurants and coffee shops to be discovered (where everything is CHEAP), as well as nearby look outs and view points. I am so glad that we found this resort, it was a first class experience for us and one that we would not have been able to afford in anywhere else in the world.

Wonderful reception staff

The staff were fantastic, the lady on reception could not do enough. If you are disabled there is a steep hill and loads of steps.we had to pay an extra 560 pounds to upgrade to a room on the ground level. Food was fantastic. There is a lot of building works going on both sides of the hotel which is not the fault of the hotel. Beach is beautiful room was great.
