We spent 10 days in this beautiful hotel, located close to the main places of Phuket and quiet at the same time. I would like to give a special thank to Adrian for the high quality service he provided us with his excellent customers care sense and for having made our trip really more exciting than expected. The room was perfect with one of the most beautiful view of Phuket (if you like sea view of course ;) ). Everything was very clean and always someone for you if needed. I highly recommend this hotel for any person who are looking for relaxing and enjoying the beauty of Thailand.
Nice hotel but in very quite location. Absolutely nothing to do if poor weather. Need to get cab or bus to go shopping. They offer very good rates for up front payment as after 2 days we had enough and of course they won't refund extra paid nights
Nice property but need more improvement I was pregnant and travelling with a 1+yr old hence have requested to have a room near to the main lobby for convenient. I am an Accor Plus member hence room upgrade benefits are common during off peak but definitely not a guaranteed benefit though. My young one was very sick upon arrival hence I request if we could have a room with a nice view since we will be cope in the room most of the time. I was definitely not impressed by the disgusted look of the Front desk manager (I guess) when the lady doing our check in asked her about complimentary upgrade. You don’t need to look so shock as I believe this is a common request you get from guest! From the human flow in the resort during our stay, I believe the occupancy were not high. Our request was not acceded and we were offered to upgrade our room to a sea view at 500baht nett per night. We declined… And I had a room with a view of the wall of another building and the compost ground. Insects and mosquitoes invade the balcony. Breakfast spread and quality is mediocre for a Pullman standard! We stayed at MGallery Avista and Pullman Aracadia during this trip as well. Kids club, play area and pool are significantly not part of the newly renovation plan. As this is a refurbished resort taken over by Pullman brand, room furnishing and décor are quite outdated and old. Shower facilities not luxury but overall room is still clean. Pizza and burger at the poolside café were good and staff are friendly and smiley. Housekeeping team are also friendly and smiley. Managed to spend some time at the main pool and beach on our last day (we stayed 3 nights) after the little one felt better. It was nice to see some kid activities going on between the beach and pool area. Will recommend to people who intend to explore Cape Panwa and Chalong area. Nice sea view but we will probably not return again. Service play an important part for us!
Rooms were clean, lobby is well appointed, view was breathtaking. Certain services promised could not be well delivered due to lack of maintenance. For example, there were multiple broken kayaks. Only 2/5 were available for use. Sole sailboat was also broken. Beach chairs and umbrellas were plenty and well maintained together with the multiple pools. In-house restaurant, Aqua, seems pricey, but food is really fresh, with certain vegetables from their own on site garden. They also conduct a Thai cooking class, which is very informative and delivered by passionate and patient staff. You even get to eat what you had cooked! Within walking distance is also a must go to restaurant called "The Bull". It is in a different category as Aqua and complements the dining experience in the area. The Bull serves more local fresh food and in the most value for money amongst the restaurants along the stretch. Overall a good stay which I felt sad to have to leave. Maintenance could have been better for a resort of this standard.
Hotel location is a bit far from city but there is a convenient shop right opposite the hotel. The rooms, facility and hotel staff are excellent. We have faced some problems during check-in but the receptionists are very helpful, let us enjoy the stay. Sea side swimming pool is the best and we definitely will come back again.
I feel so upset to the attitude of the staff especially the reservation team. Initially, they are answer my question effectively via email, yet they never reply me after i had made booking from OTA (hotels.com/EXPEDIA)id:138135837705 instead of booking direct from them. I feel very anxiety about booking the wrong room type for my honeymoon/surprise for my wife as the information in the hotels.com is not stated clearly of cause and the booking is not refundable. Room that i want to book is beachfront villa- private pool with beachfront view , but the hotels.com information stated it is 1615-sq-foot (150-sq-meter) room, balcony/patio with garden views. it is correct? another request,i need to make sure that both of the room i get must be NEW renovated. Really hope i can get reply of my email. Thanks
If you want the ultimate in peace and quiet, no hassles lovely pool , lovely people beautiful view then suggest u come here. Its away from the maddening crowds of PATONG and similar but still handy by taxi to stores and sights . Try Cafe Panwa across the road from hotel. FOOD WAS GOOD AS WELL ,nice servings
Excellent hotel efficient and attentive staff good location to travel the south of the island Air conditioning worked efficiently lovely breakfast service. rooms of good size and good size balcony nice beach and pools did use gym but it looked well equipped. Nearby restaurants and massage very good.
The resort is located on a cliff overlooking the Andaman Sea, and the view as you walk in through the lobby is spectacular. Something to highlight is also the convenient location as there is a 24hr minimart just opposite. We stayed at the pool villa overlooking the Andaman Sea and the villa was immaculate. The bed and the pillows were firm, which is always a pet peeve for me whenever I travel, only this time it wasn't. Only thing that needs to be improved in my opinion is that there are too many flies at the Edge pool bar and Aqua restaurant. Perhaps Pullman Panwa might want to look into putting up black light insect killers at these locations. The worst was when we had dinner at Aqua in the air-conditioned area and there were flies having a rest inside our water glasses. Needless to say, the staff changed them immediately before we consumed anything, but this definitely needs to be addressed.
This is a typical 5* resort built a decade ago. It is 45mins -1 hour away from the airport. Taxi should be approx 1.200 baht. The facility are not new and some things could be renovated (it's the small things, nothing big though). Big complex with several houses and pool villas.it is incredibly beautiful anyways. In our opinion the facilities are rather 4*, although the pools and everything is still in good shape. What makes this resort 5* is the service and all the rest. The staff was just great, the breakfast extraordinary and Wi-Fi worked on the beach and simply everywhere. Restaurants are expensive but good. Small super market right in front. The tights make swimming at the beach difficult for some hours a day- but you can perfectly relax at the wonderful pools. Rooms were clean and mid size. Totally sufficient though. It is the small things like the fruits they give you for free at the pool which finally make it 5*! Price performance is good. Definitely recommendable!
