It was a very lovely stay. It rained a lot so we didn’t get a chance to use the grill or fire pit, but would have enjoyed those amenities provided. Everything we needed was provided by the host inside the cabin, the bed was more comfortable than my own, and the view was just amazing. The location was perfect for exploring surrounding towns, only a few minutes to Cherokee, Bryson City, Sylva, and Dillsboro shopping and playing. We absolutely loved it and didn’t want to leave.

This is not a cabin it is someone's basement. Tiny appliances that barley work DO NOT recommend we had to find somewhere else to stay and have not been contacted back about requesting a refund.

Retirement/Birthday celebration

My husband I spent the weekend celebrating his retirement and my birthday. We enjoyed the fire pit and relaxing to the sounds from the river. The bed was comfortable and overall the cabin is very cozy!

Home away from home

We stayed at the bottom level of the property right across the flowing rover. There's a fire pit with logs in yhe backyard just near the river as well as a swing. The moment you walk into the unit, you will know that the owners have very lovingly made up the entire place. You have everything that you need during your stay in the apartment. Really loved it and thoroughly enjoyed our stay! sayimmediately say they lovingly

Cute and clean

The little apartment was spotlessly clean. The bed was comfortable and we were very happy with the rental. The river was right in the backyard, and it was beautiful. There are steep steps leading down to the apartment, though. That was our only concern.

Nice little place

Small quaint basement apartment basically. Only issue was sound of people walking above. DVD only on Tv but we lived. Wifi is good. Phone service not great but again we survived lol. Place was clean. Kitchen has small stove microwave but bring yr own paper plates and coffee mugs. Just two of us so was perfect. There was wood for firepit and the sound of the river was soothing. Wd be a great spot for a couple or like myself and 11 yr old son. Close to several places but kind of hard to just find a place to eat. But overall I wd stay again. If you have bad knees etc it’s a downhill walk down steps to carry your stuff. Just some advice. Place is great.

Taste of heaven

These are the things we love about the property: It’s on a beautiful river with mountains in view. There is seating, a fire pit, a grill, and places to eat and relax by the calming sound of the river. The small apt. has everything we need to rest well, fix our own meals and have close proximity to the Smoky Mountains, hiking, Bryson City and more. It is very affordable and the hosts are wonderful, reliable people! We just finished our 2nd stay and plan to be back in the spring.

Beautiful Location, Smaller Than Expected

The view was great and communication with the owner was as well. Just know this is the Bottom level of a 3 story home. I see that now after the fact but wasn't aware during booking. The pictures don't really sell how small of a living space this is. Window Unit cools the bottom level but not sure how effective it was during the day since we weren't there during the day but It kept us cool at night. The bed was extremely comfortable as well. The furniture is small so take that in to account when looking at the pictures. Overall great stay especially once the shock of the small space subsided.

Peace and quiet

I loved the stay. Hostess was very kind and helpful. Property is well maintained and in such a gorgeous location on the river. You could just sit and enjoy nature or you are a short drive from any of the fun towns to explore.

Perfect Getaway

We had a beautiful getaway in this lovely little place. Our host had every thing we could possibly need provided and the communication was great. The location was PERFECT!! Right in the middle between Cherokee and Bryson city. I wish we could've stayed longer just to enjoy that gorgeous view.
