The Pleasant View Inn is the best place to stay in Misquamicut. It overlooks the ocean, has a pool and an excellent restaurant and bar. The staff makes the hotel feel like it is family-owned, many have been there for years. From the GM Joe, to Susan at the front desk to Danielle, Alyssa and Chelsea in the restaurant, they all make sure that every detail is taken care of and that guests can relax and enjoy everything the area has to offer. We will definitely be back as many times as we can this summer!

My time at the Pleasant view Inn was exactly what I was looking for. I had about 30 hours to reconnect with a friend and chose to do it near the ocean. It was a great location with a restaurant right next-door. We didn’t have to go far for anything that we needed. We are already making plans to return next year. The staff was helpful. The room was comfortable and clean. The pool area was very nice. I would highly recommend.

We had an ocean front room with a balcony. We could hear the waves crashing from our beds. It was amazing. A big beautiful room with a pretty good size mini fridge & they delivered a microwave. My only complaint was no coffee maker in the room & we were kinda far from the main lobby, BUT we were really close to the water!

The stay was nice overall. One of our door locks didn't work, and the outside door to the side of the hotel was chained wide open. Also, there wasn't a phone in the room, which was concerning in the event of an emergency, if someone didn't have access to a phone and couldnt contact hotel staff.

This property should not be advertised on Expedia. It's run-down and unsafe. The exterior side door to the building was held open with a rope. This door remained open 24 hours allowing anyone access to the property. When this was brought up to the hotel manager she shrugged it off and said someone is on patrol ( not so) and even if a non guest walked in they could not get into the room. There is no room cleaning service unless the guest expresses a need for it. The front desk gave a " covid" rationale for this. The rooms have an extreme musty smell to them. It smells like a beach house that has been closed up for several months. The price does not reflect the quality of the room, especially since this is off season. Only the view, if you have an ocean front room, is a positive. Upon arrival we were also hit with a $90.00 destination fee. Apparently, this covered 2 8oz water bottles in the room and free parking. We were extremely disappointed in this property and will not return.
