We looked at a lot of homes before landing on this one. Staying in an area we knew nothing about was a gamble when finalizing the decision, but we were so happy with the home we picked especially after seeing the areas of the other ones we considered. The home was located in a great area with easy access to everything and off-street parking which was important as we had a rental car. The beds were so comfortable we wanted to sleep in every day. The home had everything, was very comfortable and met all our needs. There was a Safeway two minutes from the house which was conviencient because we did have to buy things like aluminum foil, baggies, paper plates and napkins but that is hit and miss when getting a vrbo (some provide and some don't). We used the bbq several times which was important to us and we were able to sync our music to the tv so we were happy about that too. Collin was very responsive and communicated over everything, staying on top of it our entire stay. We would absolutely stay here again when visiting the VA / DC area.

Our family found this home to be a perfect home base for our stay in Alexandria. We were in town to attend a memorial service for my father at Arlington National Cemetery, and this was the perfect location: a quiet neighborhood, convenient to shopping and restaurants, and only a few minutes to Arlington. We found the beds to be quite comfortable, and particularly appreciated the spacious 1st floor living areas and well appointed kitchen. We plan on a return trip and hope to rebook "The Potomac"--Thank you!

The Potomac was the perfect place to host my family for a holiday gathering. My teens shared the bedroom on the third floor and had their own bathroom. My mom took one of the two suites. And my wife and I had the second master suite. The first floor was large enough to welcome 6 more guests for two days of food, family, and fun. The home was well appointed; the kitchen stocked. We took advantage of the complimentary Netflix subscription and backyard. The hosts even decorated for the holidays!

A lovely, thoughtfully furnished townhouse with interesting artwork in every space. The beds were very comfortable. Convenient location for sightseeing and a great place to come back to at the end of the day. We often enjoyed the outdoor garden space. The host is very responsive to any questions. Perfect property

This property is beautifully decorated and furnished with everything you need for a relaxing stay. We appreciated the comfortable beds, the array of coffee supplies, and the ease of checkin and checkout procedures. If you are willing to use the transit system it is a perfect location. It is close to a busy street, but we were not disturbed at all. For those with mobility issues, There are stairs up to the bedrooms. We hope to comeback and visit Alexandria/DC again and would gladly stay at this property, and highly recommend it to others.

Awesome place to stay!

The house was just like the pics. Bedrooms were huge and each had en suite bathroom, which was terrific! Hosts thought of everything and were so quick to respond to messages. Our family would love to come back again on our next trip to the area!

More than we could have asked for

The house is beautiful, very clean and oh so welcoming. We were a group of two couples and a teenager. The bedroom setup could not have been better. Loved the deck out back. Neighborhood felt very safe. Kitchen had everything we needed or could want.

Elegant, well appointed townhouse

Five adult family members stayed in this house for nearly a week at Christmas while visiting other family members with young children. The house was perfect for us. Every detail has been considered and offered.The kitchen is exceptionally well outfitted, there is a very good washer and dryer, every couple had their own attached bath, the closets are spacious, there is a small outdoor space with a grill and a fire pit, and on and on. And even though it is close to a busy road, it was very quiet inside. However, is definitely a house for adults, not small children.I hope this house is still a short-term rental when we visit Alexandria again.
