Bloody towels with burns on them. Easy to hear loud neighbors. Dogs barking in rooms. Microwave didnt work. No coffee or soap to wash with other than hand soap on the sink. Very small parking area. Uncomfortable bed. Pretty much what you would expect for a cheap motel but with the luxury of being close to the beach and boardwalk.

SUPERB little beach gem

SUPERB! You can't beat the location! My bed was comfy. Plenty of parking. And HUGE room. I had a king suite, so I had a kitchen. Not fancy. If you want fancy, go elsewhere. This hotel is rundown, but the service is friendly and welcoming. I travel with service dog and had no problems. There was nefarious shady characters hanging around...they don't bother you. Don't engage. The owner kicked them all out. Best time to visit? October thru Dec. Best rates. I have stayed here before and this is my second stay with Alamar. SUPERB!
